யோபு 24

1 “எல்லாம் வல்லவர் நியாயந்தீர்க்கும் காலத்தை மறைத்திருப்பது ஏன்? அவரை அறிந்தவர்கள் அந்நாட்களுக்காக வீணாய்க் காத்திருப்பதும் ஏன்?

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

2 மனிதர் எல்லைக் கற்களைத் தள்ளிவைக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் திருடிய மந்தைகளையே அவர்கள் மேய்க்கிறார்கள்.

[Some] remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed [thereof].

3 அநாதைகளின் கழுதைகளை அவர்கள் துரத்திவிடுகிறார்கள்; விதவைகளின் எருதை ஈட்டுப் பொருளாக வாங்குகிறார்கள்.

They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow’s ox for a pledge.

4 அவர்கள் தேவையுள்ளவர்களை வழியிலிருந்து தள்ளிவிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய வன்முறையால் நாட்டிலுள்ள ஏழைகளை ஒழியப்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்.

They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.

5 காட்டுக் கழுதை பாலைவனத்தில் அலைவதுபோல், ஏழைகள் உணவு தேடி அலைகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்குப் பாழ்நிலம் உணவளிக்கின்றது.

Behold, [as] wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness [yieldeth] food for them [and] for [their] children.

6 வயல்வெளிகளில் அவர்கள் தங்கள் உணவைச் சேர்க்கிறார்கள்; கொடியவர்களின் திராட்சைத் தோட்டத்தில் விடப்பட்டதை பொறுக்குகிறார்கள்.

They reap [every one] his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.

7 அவர்கள் போர்த்துக்கொள்ள உடையில்லாமல் இரவை கழிக்கிறார்கள்; குளிரில் மூடிக்கொள்வதற்கு அவர்களிடம் ஒன்றுமே இல்லை.

They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that [they have] no covering in the cold.

8 மலைகளிலிருந்து வரும் மழையினால் அவர்கள் நனைகிறார்கள்; தங்குவதற்கு இடமின்றி பாறைகளில் மறைகிறார்கள்.

They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.

9 தந்தையற்ற பிள்ளை தாயின் மார்பிலிருந்து பிடுங்கப்படுகிறது; ஏழையின் குழந்தை கடனுக்காகக் கைப்பற்றப்படுகிறது.

They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.

10 ஏழைகள் உடையின்றி நடந்து, அரிக்கட்டுகளைச் சுமந்து, பசியாகவே இருக்கிறார்கள்.

They cause [him] to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf [from] the hungry;

11 அவர்கள் தாகத்தால் செக்கு ஆட்டி, ஒலிவ எண்ணெயை எடுக்கிறார்கள்; ஆலைகளில் திராட்சை இரசம் பிழிகிறார்கள்.

[Which] make oil within their walls, [and] tread [their] winepresses, and suffer thirst.

12 சாகிறவர்களின் அழுகை பட்டணத்திலிருந்து எழும்புகிறது, காயப்பட்டவர்கள் உதவிவேண்டி கதறி அழுகிறார்கள், ஆனாலும் இறைவன் அவர்கள் மன்றாட்டைக் கேட்கவில்லை.

Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly [to them].

13 “கொடியவர்கள் ஒளியை எதிர்த்துக் கலகம் செய்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் ஒளியின் வழிகளை அறியாமலும், அதின் பாதைகளில் நிலைத்திராமலும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.

14 பொழுது விடிகிறபோது கொலையாளி எழுந்து, ஏழையையும் தேவை மிகுந்தவர்களையும் கொன்று, இரவில் திருடனைப்போல் திரிகிறான்.

The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.

15 விபசாரம் செய்கிறவனின் கண்கள் மாலை மங்கும்வரை காத்திருக்கின்றன; அவன், ‘என்னை ஒருவரும் பார்க்கமாட்டார்கள்’ என எண்ணி, தன் முகத்தையும் மறைத்துக்கொள்கிறான்.

The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth [his] face.

16 பகலில் அடையாளம் பார்த்த வீடுகளை இரவில் கன்னமிடுகிறார்கள்; வெளிச்சத்தில் எதையும் செய்ய அவர்கள் விரும்புவதில்லை.

In the dark they dig through houses, [which] they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.

17 அவர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் கடும் இருளே காலை நேரமாயிருக்கிறது; இருளின் பயங்கரங்களுடன் அவர்கள் நட்பு வைக்கிறார்கள்.

For the morning [is] to them even as the shadow of death: if [one] know [them, they are in] the terrors of the shadow of death.

18 “அவர்கள் தண்ணீரின் மேலுள்ள நுரையாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; நாட்டில் அவர்களின் பங்கு சபிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பதினால், அவர்களுடைய திராட்சைத் தோட்டத்திற்கு ஒருவரும் போவதில்லை.

He [is] swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.

19 வெப்பமும் வறட்சியும் உருகிய உறைபனியை பறித்துக்கொள்வதுபோல, பாதாளமும் பாவிகளை பறித்துக்கொள்ளும். (Sheol h7585)

Drought and heat consume the snow waters: [so doth] the grave [those which] have sinned. (Sheol h7585)

20 அவர்களைப் பெற்றெடுத்த கர்ப்பம் அவர்களை மறந்துவிடும், புழுக்கள் அவர்களை விருந்தாக உண்ணும். தீய மனிதர் இனி ஒருபோதும் நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை, மரத்தைப்போல் அவர்கள் முறிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.

The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.

21 அவர்கள் பிள்ளையில்லாத மலடியின் சொத்தைப் பட்சிக்கிறார்கள், விதவைக்கும் இரக்கம் காட்டுவதில்லை.

He evil entreateth the barren [that] beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.

22 இறைவன் தன் வல்லமையினால் வலிமையானோரை வீழ்த்துகிறார்; அவர்கள் நிலைபெற்றிருந்தாலும், வாழ்வின் நிச்சயம் அவர்களுக்கு இல்லை.

He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no [man] is sure of life.

23 இறைவன் அவர்களைப் பாதுகாப்புணர்வுடன் இருக்கவிட்ட போதிலும், அவருடைய கண்களோ அவர்களைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டேயிருக்கின்றன.

[Though] it be given him [to be] in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes [are] upon their ways.

24 சிறிது காலத்திற்கு உயர்த்தப்படுகிறார்கள், பின்பு இல்லாமல் போகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டு, மற்றவர்களைப் போல சேர்க்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; தானியக்கதிர்கள் வெட்டப்படுவதுபோல் வெட்டப்படுகிறார்கள்.

They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all [other], and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.

25 “இது இப்படியில்லாவிட்டால், நான் பொய்யன் என நிரூபித்து, என் வார்த்தைகளை வீண் என்று யார் சொல்லமுடியும்?”

And if [it be] not [so] now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
