யோபு 15
1 பின்பு தேமானியனான எலிப்பாஸ் மறுமொழியாக சொன்னதாவது:
Forsothe Eliphat Themanytes answeride, and seide,
2 “ஞானவான் அர்த்தமற்ற நியாயங்களைச் சொல்லி, கொண்டல் காற்றினால் தன் வயிற்றை நிரப்புவானோ?
Whether a wise man schal answere, as spekynge ayens the wynd, and schal fille his stomac with brennyng, `that is, ire?
3 பயனற்ற வார்த்தைகளினாலும், மதிப்பற்றப் பேச்சுக்களினாலும் அவன் வாதாடுவானோ?
For thou repreuest hym bi wordis, which is not lijk thee, and thou spekist that, that spedith not to thee.
4 ஆனால் நீயோ பயபக்தியை வேரறுக்கிறாய்; இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாக தியானத்தையும் தடைசெய்கிறாய்.
As myche as is in thee, thou hast avoidid drede; and thou hast take awey preyeris bifor God.
5 உன் பாவமே உன் வாயைப் பேசப்பண்ணுகிறது; தந்திரக்காரரின் நாவை நீ பயன்படுத்துகிறாய்.
For wickidnesse hath tauyt thi mouth, and thou suest the tunge of blasfemeris.
6 என் வாயல்ல, உன் வாயே உன்னைக் குற்றவாளியாக்குகிறது; உன் உதடுகளே உனக்கு விரோதமாய்ச் சாட்சி கூறுகிறது.
Thi tunge, and not Y, schal condempne thee, and thi lippis schulen answere thee.
7 “மனிதருக்குள் முதன்முதல் பிறந்தவன் நீயோ? மலைகளுக்கு முன்பே நீ உருவாக்கப்பட்டாயோ?
Whether thou art borun the firste man, and art formed bifor alle little hillis?
8 நீ இறைவனுடைய ஆலோசனையைக் கேட்கிறாயோ? ஞானத்தை உனக்கு மட்டுமே உரிமையானதாக்கிக் கொள்கிறாயோ?
Whether thou herdist the counsel of God, and his wisdom is lower than thou?
9 நாங்கள் அறியாத எதை நீ அறிந்திருக்கிறாய்? நாங்கள் பெற்றிராத எந்த நுண்ணறிவை நீ பெற்றிருக்கிறாய்?
What thing knowist thou, whiche we knowen not? What thing vndurstondist thou, whiche we witen not?
10 தலைமுடி நரைத்தோரும், முதியோரும் எங்கள் சார்பில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உன் தகப்பனைவிட வயதானவர்கள்.
Bothe wise men and elde, myche eldre than thi fadris, ben among vs.
11 இறைவனது ஆறுதல்களும், அவர் தயவாக உன்னிடம் பேசிய வார்த்தைகளும் உனக்குப் போதாதோ?
Whether it is greet, that God coumforte thee? But thi schrewid wordis forbeden this.
12 நீ உன் உள்ளத்து உணர்வுகளால் இழுபட்டுப் போனது ஏன்? உன் கண்களில் ஏன் அனல் தெறிக்கிறது?
What reisith thin herte thee, and thou as thenkynge grete thingis hast iyen astonyed?
13 இறைவனுக்கு விரோதமாகச் சீற்றங்கொண்டு இவ்வாறான வார்த்தைகளை நீ பேசுவானேன்?
What bolneth thi spirit ayens God, that thou brynge forth of thi mouth siche wordis?
14 “தூய்மையானவனாய் இருப்பதற்கு மனிதன் யார்? பெண்ணிடத்தில் பிறந்தவன் நேர்மையுள்ளவனாயிருப்பது எப்படி?
What is a man, that he be with out wem, and that he borun of a womman appere iust?
15 இறைவன் தமது பரிசுத்தவான்களையும் நம்புகிறதில்லை; வானங்களே அவருடைய பார்வைக்குத் தூய்மையற்றதாய் இருக்கிறதென்றால்,
Lo! noon among hise seyntis is vnchaungable, and heuenes ben not cleene in his siyt.
16 தீமையைத் தண்ணீரைப்போல் குடிக்கும், இழிவானவனும் சீர்கெட்டவனுமாகிய மனிதனில் இறைவன் குற்றம் காணாதிருப்பாரா?
How myche more a man abhomynable and vnprofitable, that drynkith wickidnesse as water?
17 “நான் சொல்வதைக் கேள்; நான் உனக்கு விவரித்துச் சொல்வேன்; நான் கண்டதைச் சொல்லவிடு.
I schal schewe to thee, here thou me; Y schal telle to thee that, that Y siy.
18 ஞானிகள் தங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களிடமிருந்து பெற்று, ஒன்றையும் மறைக்காமல் அறிவித்ததைச் சொல்வேன்.
Wise men knoulechen, and hiden not her fadris.
19 அந்த முற்பிதாக்கள் மத்தியில் வேறுநாட்டினர் நடமாடாதபோது, அவர்களுக்கு நாடு கொடுக்கப்பட்டது:
To whiche aloone the erthe is youun, and an alien schal not passe bi hem.
20 கொடியவர் தன் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் வேதனையை அனுபவிப்பார்கள்; துன்பத்தின் வருடங்கள் இரக்கமற்றோர்க்குக் கூட்டப்பட்டுள்ளன.
A wickid man is proud in alle hise daies; and the noumbre of hise yeeris and of his tirauntrie is vncerteyn.
21 திகிலூட்டும் சத்தங்கள் அவன் காதுகளை நிரப்புகின்றன; எல்லாம் நலமாய்க் காணப்படும்போது கொள்ளைக்காரர் அவனைத் தாக்குகிறார்கள்.
The sown of drede is euere in hise eeris, and whanne pees is, he supposith euere tresouns.
22 அவன் இருளிலிருந்து தப்ப நம்பிக்கையில்லாமல் மனமுறிவடைகிறான்; வாளுக்கு இரையாவதற்கென்றே அவன் குறிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறான்.
He bileueth not that he may turne ayen fro derknessis to liyt; and biholdith aboute on ech side a swerd.
23 அவன் கழுகைப்போல உணவு தேடி அலைகிறான்; இருளின் நாள் தனக்குச் சமீபித்திருக்கிறது என்பதையும் அவன் அறிவான்.
Whanne he stirith hym to seke breed, he woot, that the dai of derknessis is maad redi in his hond.
24 வேதனையும் கடுந்துயரமும் அவனைக் கலங்கச்செய்து, யுத்தத்திற்கு ஆயத்தமான அரசனைப்போல் அவனை மேற்கொள்கின்றன.
Tribulacioun schal make hym aferd, and angwisch schal cumpas hym, as a kyng which is maad redi to batel.
25 ஏனெனில், அவன் தனது கையை இறைவனுக்கு விரோதமாக நீட்டி, எல்லாம் வல்லவருக்கு எதிராக இறுமாப்புடன் நடக்கிறான்.
For he helde forth his hond ayens God, and he was maad strong ayens Almyyti God.
26 அவன் தடித்த வலிமையான கேடயத்துடன், பணிவின்றி அவரை எதிர்த்துத் தாக்குகிறான்.
He ran with neck reisid ayens God, and he was armed with fat nol.
27 “அவனுடைய முகத்தைக் கொழுப்பு மூடியிருக்கிறது, அடிவயிறு தொந்திவிட்டிருக்கிறது.
Fatnesse, that is, pride `comyng forth of temporal aboundaunce, hilide his face, `that is, the knowyng of vndurstondyng, and outward fatnesse hangith doun of his sidis.
28 அவன் பாழடைந்த பட்டணங்களிலும், கற்குவியலாக நொறுங்கி ஒருவரும் குடியிராத வீடுகளிலும் வாழ்வான்.
He schal dwelle in desolat citees, and in deseert, `ethir forsakun, housis, that ben turned in to biriels.
29 அவன் இனி ஒருபோதும் செல்வந்தனாவதுமில்லை; அவனுடைய செல்வமும் நிலைத்திராது, அவனுடைய உடைமைகளும் பூமியில் பெருகாது.
He schal not be maad riche, nether his catel schal dwelle stidefastli; nether he schal sende his roote in the erthe,
30 அவன் இருளுக்குத் தப்புவதில்லை; அக்கினி ஜூவாலை அவன் தளிர்களை வாட்டும், இறைவனுடைய வாயின் சுவாசம் அவனை இல்லாதொழியப் பண்ணும்.
nether he schal go awei fro derknessis. Flawme schal make drie hise braunchis, and he schal be takun a wey bi the spirit of his mouth.
31 வீணானதை நம்பி, அவன் தன்னையே ஏமாற்றாதிருக்கட்டும்; அவன் பிரதிபலனைப் பெறமாட்டான்.
Bileue he not veynli disseyued bi errour, that he schal be ayenbouyt bi ony prijs.
32 அவனுடைய வாழ்நாள் முடிவதற்கு முன்பே அவனுக்கேற்ற பலன் கொடுக்கப்படும்; அவனுடைய கிளைகளும் பசுமையாக இருக்காது.
Bifor that hise daies ben fillid, he schal perische, and hise hondis schulen wexe drye;
33 அவன் பழுக்கும் முன்னமே பழம் உதிர்ந்துபோன திராட்சைக் கொடியைப்போலவும், பூக்கள் உதிர்கின்ற ஒலிவமரத்தைப் போலவும் இருப்பான்.
he schal be hirt as a vyne in the firste flour of his grape, and as an olyue tre castinge awei his flour.
34 இறைவனை மறுதலிக்கிற கூட்டத்தவர்கள் மலடாய்ப் போவார்கள்; இலஞ்சத்தை நாடுவோரின் கூடாரங்களை நெருப்பு பட்சிக்கும்.
For the gaderyng togidere of an ipocrite is bareyn, and fier schal deuoure the tabernaclis of hem, that taken yiftis wilfuli.
35 அவர்கள் கஷ்டத்தைக் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, தீமையைப் பெற்றெடுக்கிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய கருப்பை வஞ்சனையை உருவாக்குகிறது.”
He conseyuede sorewe, and childide wickidnesse, and his wombe makith redi tretcheries.
