ஏசாயா 35
1 பாலைவனமும் வறண்ட நிலமும் மகிழும். வனாந்திரம் மகிழ்ந்து பூக்கும். அது லீலி பூப்பதுபோல் பூக்கும்.
The wilderness and the parched land shall be glad, And the desert rejoice and blossom as the rose;
2 அது வளமாய் வளர்ந்து மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் ஆனந்த சத்தமிடும். லெபனோனின் மகிமையும், கர்மேல், சாரோனின் சிறப்பும் அதற்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும். யெகோவாவின் மகிமையையும், நமது இறைவனின் மகத்துவத்தையும் காண்பார்கள்.
It shall blossom abundantly, and exult with joy and singing; The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it; The beauty of Carmel and Sharon; They shall behold the glory of Jehovah, The majesty of our God;
3 தளர்ந்த கைகளைப் பலப்படுத்துங்கள், தள்ளாடும் முழங்கால்களைத் திடப்படுத்துங்கள்.
Strengthen ye the weak hands, And confirm the tottering knees!
4 இருதயத்தில் பதற்றமுள்ளோருக்கு, “திடன்கொள்ளுங்கள், பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; இதோ, உங்கள் இறைவன் உங்கள் பகைவரை பழிதீர்க்கவும், பதிலளிக்கவும் வருவார், அவர் வந்து உங்களை விடுவிப்பார்” என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
Say ye to the faint-hearted, “Be ye strong; fear ye not; Behold your God! Vengeance cometh, the retribution of God; He will come and save you!”
5 அப்பொழுது குருடரின் கண்கள் பார்வை பெறும், செவிடரின் காதுகளும் திறக்கப்படும்.
Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened, And the ears of the deaf be unstopped.
6 முடவன் மானைப்போல் துள்ளுவான், ஊமையின் நாவும் ஆனந்த சத்தமிடும்; வனாந்திரத்திலிருந்து தண்ணீரும், பாலைவனத்திலிருந்து நீரோடைகளும் பாயும்.
Then shall the lame leap like the hart, And the tongue of the dumb shall sing; For in the wilderness shall waters break forth, And streams in the desert.
7 சுடுமணல் நீர்த் தடாகமாகும், வறண்ட நிலம் நீரூற்றுகளுமாய் பொங்கிவரும். நரிகள் தங்கும் இடங்களில் புல்லும், கோரையும், நாணலும் வளர்ந்து நிற்கும்.
The glowing sands shall become a pool, And the thirsty ground springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where they lie, Shall be a place for reeds and rushes.
8 அங்கே பிரதான வீதி ஒன்றிருக்கும், அது பரிசுத்த வழி எனப்படும். அசுத்தர் அதன் வழியே கடந்து செல்லமாட்டார்கள். இறைவனுடைய வழியில் நடப்பவர்களுக்கென்றே அது இருக்கும். கொடிய மூடர் அதில் திரியமாட்டார்கள்.
And a path shall be there, and a highway, And it shall be called the holy way; No unclean person shall pass over it; it shall be for them alone; He that therein goeth in this way, though a fool, shall not err therein.
9 அங்கு சிங்கம் இருப்பதில்லை; எந்தவொரு கொடிய மிருகமாவது அங்கே செல்வதில்லை, அங்கே காணப்படுவதுமில்லை. மீட்கப்பட்டவர்களே அதில் நடப்பார்கள்.
No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up thereon; It shall not be found there; But the redeemed shall walk there.
10 யெகோவாவினால் மீட்கப்பட்டவர்கள் திரும்பி வருவார்கள். அவர்கள் பாடலுடன் சீயோனுக்குள் செல்வார்கள்; நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சி அவர்களுடைய தலையின்மேலிருக்கும். மகிழ்ச்சியும், ஆனந்தமும் அடைவார்கள், துக்கமும் பெருமூச்சும் பறந்தோடிவிடும்.
Yea, the ransomed of Jehovah shall return; They shall come to Zion with songs: Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
