ஏசாயா 32

1 இதோ, நீதியுள்ள ஒரு அரசர் வரப்போகிறார். அவரின்கீழ் ஆளுநர்கள் நீதியோடு ஆளுகை செய்வார்கள்.

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.

2 ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் காற்றுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் ஒதுக்கிடம் போலவும், புயலுக்கு ஒதுங்கும் புகலிடம்போலவும், பாலைவனத்தில் நீரோடைகள் போலவும், தாகமுள்ள நிலத்துக்கு, பெருங்கன்மலையின் நிழல் போலவும் இருப்பான்.

And every one shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivulets of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a large rock in a languishing land.

3 அப்பொழுது, பார்க்கிறவர்களின் கண்கள் இனியொருபோதும் மூடப்பட்டிருக்க மாட்டாது; கேட்கிறவர்களின் காதுகள் கவனித்துக் கேட்கும்.

And the eyes of those that see shall not be blinded again, and the ears of those that hear shall hearken.

4 அவசரக்காரரின் மனம், அறிவை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும்; திக்குகின்ற நாவு தங்கு தடையின்றித் தெளிவாய்ப் பேசும்.

The heart also of the rash shall be attentive in order to know, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

5 மூடர் இனி உயர்குடி மக்கள் என அழைக்கப்படமாட்டார்கள்; கயவரும் இனி கனப்படுத்தப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

The worthless person shall be no more called liberal, and the avaricious man shall not be said to be bountiful.

6 ஏனெனில் மூடர் மூடத்தனமாகவே பேசுகிறார்கள், அவர்களின் மனம் தீமையில் தீவிரமாய் ஈடுபடுகிறது: அவர்கள் இறை பக்தியற்றவர்களாய் நடந்து, யெகோவாவைப் பற்றித் தவறானவற்றைப் பரப்புகிறார்கள். பசியுள்ளோரைப் பட்டினியாக விட்டு, தாகமுள்ளோருக்குத் தண்ணீர் கொடுக்க மறுக்கிறார்கள்.

For the worthless person ever speaketh villany, and his heart will work injustice, to practise hypocrisy, and to speak error against the Lord, to leave empty the soul of the hungry, and the drink of the thirsty will he take away.

7 துரோகியின் செயல்முறைகள் கொடுமையானவை, ஏழைகளின் முறையீடுகள் நியாயமாயிருந்தும் வஞ்சக வார்த்தைகளால் எளியவர்களை அழிப்பதற்கு தீய திட்டங்களைத் தீட்டுகிறான்.

The instruments also of the avaricious man are evil: he deviseth wicked resolves to destroy the poor with words of falsehood, even when the needy speaketh what is right.

8 ஆனால் உயர்குடி மக்கள் சிறப்பான திட்டங்களை வகுக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய சிறந்த செயல்களினால் நிலைத்தும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and he ever persisteth by liberal things.

9 சுகபோக வாழ்வை விரும்பும் பெண்களே, நீங்கள் எழுந்து எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள். கவலையற்ற மகள்களே, நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளுங்கள்.

Ye careless women rise up, hear my voice; ye daughters that are secure, give ear unto my speech.

10 கவலையற்ற மகள்களே, ஒரு வருடமும் சில நாட்களும் ஆனபின்பு நீங்கள் நடுங்குவீர்கள். திராட்சை அறுவடை பலனற்றுப் போகும்; கனிகொடுக்கும் அறுப்புக் காலமும் வருவதில்லை.

After days and years shall ye shudder, ye women that are secure; for ended is the vintage, the fruit gathering shall nowise come.

11 பகட்டாக வாழும் பெண்களே, பயந்து நடுங்குங்கள்; கவலையற்ற மகள்களே, கலங்குங்கள்; உங்கள் உடைகளைக் களைந்து, உங்கள் இடைகளில் துக்கவுடைகளை உடுத்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Tremble, ye careless women; shudder, ye that are secure, strip off your garments and make yourselves bare, and gird [sackcloth] upon the loins.

12 உங்கள் செழிப்பான வயல்களுக்காகவும், கனி நிறைந்த திராட்சைக் கொடிகளுக்காகவும் உங்கள் மார்பில் அடித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.

[They shall strike] on the breast, lamenting, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.

13 முட்செடிகளும் முட்புதர்களும் வளர்ந்து நிறைந்த எனது மக்களின் நாட்டிற்காகவும், மகிழ்ந்து களிகூர்ந்த வீடுகளுக்காகவும், கொண்டாட்டமுடைய நகரத்திற்காகவும் புலம்புங்கள்.

Upon the soil of my people thorns and briers shall come up; yea, upon all the houses of joy of the gladsome town.

14 கோட்டை கைவிடப்படும், இரைச்சல்மிக்க நகரம் வெறுமையாய் விடப்படும். அரண்செய்யப்பட்ட நகரமும் காவற்கோபுரமும் என்றென்றும் குகைகளாகும்; அங்கே காட்டுக் கழுதைகள் மகிழ்ச்சியடையும், மந்தைகள் மேயும்.

Because the palace is abandoned, the tumult of the city is forsaken; the hill and watch-tower are become dens for a long time, a joyous haunt for wild asses, a pasture for flocks.

15 உன்னதத்திலிருந்து நம்மேல் இறைவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் ஊற்றப்படும்வரையும், பாலைவனம் செழிப்பான வயலாகும்வரையும், செழிப்பான வயல்கள் வனம்போல் காணப்படும்வரையும் இப்படியே இருக்கும்.

Until a spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be changed into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be accounted as a forest.

16 அப்பொழுது நீதி பாலைவனத்தில் குடியிருக்கும்; நியாயம் செழிப்பான வளமான வயல்களில் வாழும்.

Then shall justice dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.

17 நீதியினால் வரும் பலன் சமாதானமாயிருக்கும்; நீதியின் விளைவு என்றென்றைக்கும் அமைதியும் மன நம்பிக்கையுமாயிருக்கும்.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and security for ever.

18 என் மக்கள் சமாதானம் நிறைந்த குடியிருப்புகளிலும், பாதுகாப்பான வீடுகளிலும், தொல்லையில்லாத இளைப்பாறுதலின் இடங்களில் வாழ்வார்கள்.

And then shall my people abide in peaceful dwellings, and secure abodes, and in undisturbed resting-places.

19 கல்மழை வனத்தைக் கீழே வீழ்த்தினாலும், பட்டணம் முழுவதும் தரைமட்டமாக்கப்பட்டாலும்,

And it shall spread itself out in the declivity of the forest; and far down in the lowlands shall the city descend.

20 நீர்வளமுள்ள இடங்களில் விதை விதைத்து, சுதந்திரமாய் உங்கள் மந்தைகளையும் கழுதைகளையும் மேய்வதற்கு விடுகிற நீங்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.

Happy are ye that sow beside all waters, freely sending forth the feet of the ox and the ass.
