ஏசாயா 24
1 இதோ, யெகோவா பூமியை அழித்து சீர்குலைக்கப்போகிறார். அதன் மேற்பரப்பைப் பாழாக்கி, குடிகளைச் சிதறடிப்பார்.
Watch out! The Lord is going to destroy the earth, to make it totally devastated. He's going to rip up the surface of the earth and scatter its inhabitants.
2 மக்களைப்போலவே ஆசாரியனுக்கும், வேலைக்காரனைப் போலவே தலைவனுக்கும், வேலைக்காரியைப் போலவே தலைவிக்கும், வாங்குபவனைப் போலவே விற்பவனுக்கும், இரவல் வாங்குபவனைப் போலவே இரவல் கொடுப்பவனுக்கும், கடனாளியைப்போலவே கடன் கொடுப்பவனுக்குமாக எல்லோருக்கும் ஒரேவிதமாகவே நடக்கும்.
It will happen the same for everybody—whether people or priests, servants or their masters, maids or their mistresses, buyers or sellers, lenders or borrowers, creditors or debtors.
3 பூமி முழுவதும் அழிக்கப்பட்டு முழுமையாகக் கொள்ளையடிக்கப்படும். யெகோவாவே இந்த வார்த்தையைப் பேசியிருக்கிறார்.
The earth will be completely laid waste and looted. This is what the Lord has said.
4 பூமி வறண்டு வாடுகிறது, உலகம் நலிந்து வாடுகிறது; பூமியில் உயர்த்தப்பட்டவர்கள் தளர்ந்து போகிறார்கள்.
The earth dries up and withers away; the world shrivels up and withers away, the high and mighty people shrivel up along with the earth.
5 பூமி அதன் மக்களால் கறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் சட்டங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவில்லை. அவர்கள் அதன் ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைச் சீர்குலைத்து, நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையையும் மீறினார்கள்.
The earth is polluted by its people; they have flouted God's laws, violated his regulations, and broken the eternal agreement with him.
6 ஆகவே சாபம் பூமியைச் சூழ்ந்து பற்றிப் பிடித்திருக்கிறது. பூமியின் மக்களே தங்கள் குற்றத்தைச் சுமக்கவேண்டும். ஆதலால் பூமியின் குடிகள் எரிக்கப்பட்டுப் போனார்கள். மிகச் சிலரே மீந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
That is why a curse is destroying the earth. The people suffer because of their guilt. The inhabitants of the earth are burned up and only a few survive.
7 புதுத் திராட்சை இரசம் வற்றுகிறது, திராட்சைக்கொடி தளர்கிறது; மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கும் இதயங்களெல்லாம் பெருமூச்சு விடுகின்றன.
The new wine dries up, and the vine withers. All the people celebrating groan.
8 மேளத்தின் ஆனந்த ஒலி ஓய்ந்தது, களிகூர்ந்தவர்களின் சத்தமும் நின்றுவிட்டது; யாழின் இன்னிசை அடங்கிற்று.
The happy sound of tambourines is over; the noise of the party-goers has stopped; the delightful harp music has finished,
9 இனிமேல் அவர்கள் திராட்சை இரசத்தைப் பாட்டுடன் குடிப்பதில்லை, மதுபானம் அதைக் குடிப்பவருக்குக் கசப்பாய் இருக்கும்.
People don't sing any more as they drink wine, and the beer tastes bitter.
10 அழிக்கப்பட்ட பட்டணம் பாழாய்க் கிடக்கிறது; வீடுகளின் நுழைவாசல்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் அடைபட்டுக் கிடக்கும்.
The chaotic city is falling apart; every house is barred shut to keep others out.
11 அவர்கள் வீதிகளில் திராட்சை இரசத்திற்காக அழுகிறார்கள்; இன்பமெல்லாம் துன்பமாக மாறுகின்றன; சந்தோஷம் அனைத்தும் பூமியினின்று அகற்றப்படுகின்றன.
Crowds on the street are shouting, demanding to have wine. Joy turns into darkness. There's no happiness left on earth.
12 பட்டணம் பாழாக விடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது, அதன் வாசல் கதவுகள் துண்டுகளாக நொறுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன.
The city is in a horrible state of ruin; its gates have been broken down.
13 அப்பொழுது ஒலிவமரம் உலுக்கப்பட்டு, பழம் பறித்தபின் சில பழங்கள் மீந்திருப்பது போலவும், திராட்சை அறுவடையின்பின் கிளைகளில் சில பழங்கள் மீந்திருப்பது போலுமே பூமியின்மேலும், நாடுகளின் இடையேயும் மீந்திருப்போர் மட்டுமே விடப்பட்டிருப்பர்.
This is the way it's going to be all throughout the earth among the nations—only a few olives are left after the tree is shaken, only a few grapes are left to be gleaned after the harvest.
14 அவர்கள் தங்கள் குரல்களை உயர்த்தி, மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் சத்தமிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் மேற்கிலிருந்து யெகோவாவின் மாட்சிமையைப் பாராட்டுகிறார்கள்.
These survivors shout aloud and sing for joy. From the west they praise the Lord's majesty.
15 ஆகவே கிழக்கிலே யெகோவாவை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்; கடலின் தீவுகளில் இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் பெயரைப் புகழ்ந்து உயர்த்துங்கள்.
From the east they glorify the Lord; from the sea shores they praise the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.
16 “நீதியுள்ளவருக்கே மகிமை” என்று பாடுவதை பூமியின் கடைசிகளிலிருந்து நாம் கேட்கிறோம். ஆனால் நானோ, “நான் அழிகிறேன், நான் அழிகிறேன் ஐயோ எனக்குக் கேடு! துரோகிகள் துரோகம் பண்ணுகிறார்கள்! துரோகிகள் நம்பிக்கைத் துரோகம் செய்கிறார்கள்” என்றேன்.
We hear songs coming from the ends of the earth, singing, “Glory to the God who does right.” But I'm miserable, miserable. Pity me! Deceitful people go on betraying, again and again.
17 பூமியின் குடிகளே, பயங்கரமும், படுகுழியும், கண்ணியுமே உங்களுக்காகக் காத்திருக்கின்றன.
Terrors and pit-traps and snares are waiting for you, people of the earth.
18 பயங்கரத்தின் சத்தம் கேட்டு ஓடுபவன் படுகுழிக்குள் விழுவான். குழியிலிருந்து வெளியேறுபவன் கண்ணியில் அகப்படுவான். வானத்தின் மதகுகள் திறக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன, பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் அசைகின்றன.
Those who run away in terror will fall into a pit-trap, and those who escape from the pit-trap will be caught in a snare. Heaven's windows are opened; earth's foundations shake.
19 பூமி உடைந்து போயிருக்கிறது, பூமி பிளக்கப்பட்டுப் போயிருக்கிறது, பூமி அதிர்ந்து நடுங்குகிறது.
The earth is completely broken up; the earth is ripped apart, the earth is violently shaken.
20 பூமி போதை கொண்டவன்போல் தள்ளாடுகிறது, அது காற்றில் அடிபடும் கூடாரத்தைப்போல் அசைகிறது; மீறுதலின் பாவம் அதன்மேல் அவ்வளவாய் இருப்பதால், ஒருபோதும் திரும்ப எழும்பாது விழுகிறது.
The earth staggers to and fro like a drunk, and sways this way and that like a shelter. The guilt of its rebelliousness weighs heavily on it, and it collapses—it won't rise again.
21 அந்த நாளிலே, மேலே வானத்தில் இருக்கும் வல்லமைகளையும், கீழே பூமியில் இருக்கும் அரசர்களையும் யெகோவா தண்டிப்பார்.
At that time the Lord will punish all the high heavenly beings and the kings of the earth.
22 இருண்ட அறைக்குள் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ள கைதிகளைப்போல், அவர்கள் ஒன்றுசேர்க்கப்படுவார்கள். அவர்கள் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டு அநேக நாட்களுக்குப்பின் தண்டிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
They will be brought together, prisoners in a pit. They will be imprisoned, and eventually they will be punished.
23 சந்திரன் நாணமடையும், சூரியன் வெட்கமடையும்; ஏனெனில், சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சீயோன் மலையிலும் எருசலேமிலும் அதன் முதியோர் முன்னிலையில் மகிமையோடு ஆளுகை செய்வார்.
The moon will be embarrassed and the sun will be ashamed, for the Lord Almighty will reign in glory on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem in the presence of its leaders.
