ஏசாயா 15

1 மோவாபைப் பற்றி கூறப்பட்ட இறைவாக்கு: ஒரே இரவில் மோவாபிலுள்ள ஆர் என்னும் பட்டணம் அழிக்கப்பட்டுப் பாழாயிற்று. மோவாபிலுள்ள கீர் பட்டணமும் ஒரே இரவில் அழிக்கப்பட்டுப் பாழாயிற்று.

The burden of Moab. Surely Ar of Moab was destroied, and brought to silece in a night: surely Kir of Moab was destroied, and brought to silence in a night.

2 தீபோன் மக்கள், அதன் மேடுகளிலுள்ள கோவில்களுக்கு அழுவதற்கென்று போயிருக்கிறார்கள். மோவாப் மக்கள் நேபோவைக் குறித்தும், மேதேபாவைக் குறித்தும் புலம்புகிறார்கள். ஒவ்வொருவருடைய தலையும் மொட்டையடிக்கப்பட்டு, ஒவ்வொருவருடைய தாடியும் சிரைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

He shall goe vp to the temple, and to Dibon to the hie places to weepe: for Nebo and for Medeba shall Moab howle: vpon all their heades shalbe baldnesse, and euery beard shauen.

3 அவர்கள் துக்கவுடையை உடுத்தியபடி வீதிகளில் நிற்கிறார்கள்; வீட்டுக் கூரைகள் மேலும், பொதுமக்கள் கூடும் சதுக்கங்களிலும் புலம்புகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் தேம்பித் தேம்பி அழுகிறார்கள்.

In their streetes shall they bee gilded with sackecloth: on the toppes of their houses, and in their streetes euery one shall howle, and come downe with weeping.

4 எஸ்போனியரும், எலெயாலேயரும் கூக்குரலிட்டு அழுகிறார்கள், அவர்களுடைய குரல் யாகாசுவரை கேட்கிறது. ஆகவே மோவாபியரில் ஆயுதமணிந்தவர்களும் கதறி அழுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருதயங்கள் சோர்ந்திருக்கின்றன.

And Heshbon shall crie, and Elealeh: their voyce shall bee heard vnto Iahaz: therefore the warriers of Moab shall showt: the soule of euery one shall lament in him selfe.

5 எனது உள்ளம் மோவாபியருக்காக அழுகிறது; அவர்களுடைய அகதிகள் சோவார் வரைக்கும், எக்லத் ஷெலிஷியாவரைக்கும் தப்பி ஓடுகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் லூகித் மலைச்சரிவுகளில் அழுதுகொண்டே ஏறுகிறார்கள். ஒரொனாயீமின் வழியில் தங்கி பட்டணத்தின் அழிவைப்பற்றிப் புலம்புகிறார்கள்.

Mine heart shall crie for Moab: his fugitiues shall flee vnto Zoar, an heiffer of three yere olde: for they shall goe vp with weeping by the mounting vp of Luhith: and by the way of Horonaim they shall raise vp a crie of destruction.

6 நிம்ரீமின் நீர்நிலைகள் வற்றிப்போயின; புல்லும் வாடிப்போயிற்று, பசுமையும் இல்லாமல் போயிற்று. பசுமையான எதுவுமே மீதியாய் விடப்படவில்லை.

For the waters of Nimrim shall be dried vp: therefore the grasse is withered, the herbes consumed, and there was no greene herbe.

7 ஆகவே அவர்கள் தேடிச் சேர்த்த செல்வத்தை, அலறிகளின் ஆற்றுக்கு அப்பால் தூக்கிச் செல்கிறார்கள்.

Therefore what euery man hath left, and their substance shall they beare to the brooke of the willowes.

8 அவர்களுடைய வேதனைக் குரல் மோவாப் எல்லையெங்கும் கேட்கிறது; அவர்களுடைய அலறும் சத்தம் எக்லாயீம்வரை எட்டுகிறது. அவர்களுடைய புலம்பல் பீர் ஏலீம் வரையும் கேட்கிறது.

For the crie went round about the borders of Moab: and the howling thereof vnto Eglaim, and the skriking thereof vnto Beer Elim,

9 தீமோன் பட்டணத்தின் நீர்நிலைகள் இரத்தத்தால் நிரம்பியிருக்கின்றன. ஆனால் நான் தீமோனின்மேல் இன்னும் அதிக வேதனையைக் கொண்டுவருவேன். மோவாபிலுள்ள அகதிகள்மீதும், நாட்டில் மீதியாய் இருப்பவர்கள்மீதும் சிங்கத்தை ஏவிவிடுவேன்.

Because the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more vpon Dimon, euen lyons vpon him that escapeth of Moab, and to the remnant of the land.
