ஓசியா 2

1 “அந்நாளிலே உங்கள் சகோதரர்களைப் பார்த்து, ‘நீங்கள் என் மக்கள்’ என்றும், உங்கள் சகோதரிகளைப் பார்த்து, ‘என் அன்புக்குரியவள்’ என்றும் சொல்லுங்கள்.

“Say to your brothers—Ammi, And to your sisters—Ruhamah.

2 “உங்கள் தாயைக் கண்டியுங்கள், அவளைக் கண்டியுங்கள், அவள் என் மனைவி அல்ல, நான் அவள் கணவனும் அல்ல. அவள் தன் விபசாரப் பார்வையை தன் முகத்தை விட்டகற்றட்டும்; தன் உண்மையற்ற தன்மையைத் தன் மார்பகங்களிடையே இருந்தும் விலக்கட்டும்.

Plead with your mother—plead (For she [is] not My wife, and I [am] not her husband), And she turns her whoredoms from before her, And her adulteries from between her breasts,

3 இல்லாவிட்டால் நான் அவளை உரிந்து நிர்வாணமாக்கி, அவள் பிறந்த நாளில் இருந்ததுபோலவே அவளை வெறுமையாக வைப்பேன்; அவளைப் பாலைவனத்தைப் போலாக்குவேன், வறண்ட நிலமாக்கி, அவளைத் தாகத்தினால் சாகப்பண்ணுவேன்.

Lest I strip her naked. And have set her up as [in] the day of her birth, And have made her as a wilderness, And have set her as a dry land, And have put her to death with thirst.

4 நான் அவளது பிள்ளைகளில் அன்புகாட்டமாட்டேன். ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் வேசிப்பிள்ளைகள்.

And her sons I do not pity, For they [are] sons of whoredoms,

5 அவர்களின் தாய் எனக்கு உண்மையற்றவளாயிருந்தாள்; அவர்களை வெட்கக்கேடான முறையில் கர்ப்பந்தரித்தாள். அவளோ, ‘நான் காதலர்களுக்குப் பின்னே போவேன், அவர்கள் எனக்கு உணவும், தண்ணீரும், கம்பளி உடையும், மென்பட்டு உடையும், எண்ணெயும், பானமும் தருவார்கள்’ என்றாள்.

For their mother has gone whoring, Their conceiver has acted shamefully, For she has said, I go after my lovers, Those giving my bread and my water, My wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.

6 எனவே நான், அவளது பாதையை முட்புதர்களினால் அடைப்பேன்; அவள் தன் வழியை கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாதபடி அவளைச்சுற்றி மதில் கட்டுவேன்.

Therefore, behold, I am hedging up your way with thorns, And I have made a wall for her, And her paths she does not find.

7 அவள் தன் காதலர்கள் பின்னால் ஓடுவாள்; ஆயினும் அவர்களைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கமாட்டாள். அவள் அவர்களைத் தேடுவாள், ஆனாலும் கண்டுபிடிக்கமாட்டாள். அப்பொழுது அவள், ‘நான் முன்னிருந்ததுபோல என் கணவனிடம் திரும்பிப் போவேன்; ஏனெனில் அப்பொழுது நான் இதைவிட நலமாயிருந்தேன்’ என்பாள்.

And she has pursued her lovers, And she does not overtake them, And has sought them, and does not find [them], And she has said: I go, and I return to my first husband, For—better to me then than now.

8 நானே அவளுக்கு தானியம், புதுத் திராட்சை இரசம், எண்ணெய் ஆகியவற்றைக் கொடுத்தேன் என்றும், நானே அவளுக்கு வெள்ளியையும் தங்கத்தையும் ஏராளமாய்க் கொடுத்தேன் என்றும் அவள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை; ஆயினும் அவர்களோ அவற்றைப் பாகால் தெய்வத்துக்குப் பயன்படுத்தினார்கள்.

And she did not know that I had given to her The grain, and the new wine, and the oil. Indeed, I multiplied silver to her, And the gold they prepared for Ba‘al.

9 “ஆகையால், நான் எனது தானியம் முதிரும்போது, அதை எடுத்துப்போடுவேன், எனது புதுத் திராட்சை இரசம் ஆயத்தமாகும்போது, அதையும் எடுத்துப்போடுவேன். அவளது நிர்வாணத்தை மூடுவதற்கு நான் கொடுத்திருந்த எனது கம்பளி உடையையும், எனது மென்பட்டு உடையையும் எடுத்துப்போடுவேன்.

Therefore I return, And I have taken My grain in its season, And My new wine in its appointed time, And I have taken away My wool and My flax, covering her nakedness.

10 நான் அவளது காதலர்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக, அவளது வெட்கக்கேட்டை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன்; எனது கைகளிலிருந்து ஒருவராலும் அவளை விடுவிக்க முடியாது.

And now I reveal her dishonor before the eyes of her lovers, And none deliver her out of My hand.

11 நான் அவளது எல்லா கொண்டாட்டங்களையும் நிறுத்துவேன்: வருடாந்தர விழாக்கள், அமாவாசைகள், ஓய்வுநாட்கள் ஆகிய அவளது நியமிக்கப்பட்ட எல்லா கொண்டாட்டங்களையும் நிறுத்திவிடுவேன்.

And I have caused all her joy to cease, Her festival, her new moon, and her Sabbath, Even all her appointed times,

12 தனது காதலர்களினால் தனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட கூலி என்று அவள் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், அவளுடைய திராட்சைக் கொடிகளையும் அத்திமரங்களையும் நான் பாழாக்குவேன். நான் அவற்றை புதர்க் காடாக்குவேன், காட்டு மிருகங்கள் அவற்றை அழித்துப்போடும்.

And made desolate her vine and her fig tree, Of which she said, They [are] a wage to me, That my lovers have given to me, And I have made them for a forest, And a beast of the field has consumed them.

13 அவள் பாகால்களுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டிய நாட்களுக்காக, நான் அவளைத் தண்டிப்பேன்; அவள் தன் காதணிகளினாலும் நகைகளினாலும் தன்னை அலங்கரித்துக்கொண்டு, தன் காதலர்களைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து போனாள். என்னையோ மறந்துவிட்டாள்” என்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.

And I have charged on her the days of the Ba‘alim, To whom she makes incense, And puts on her ring and her ornament, And goes after her lovers, And forgot Me,” a declaration of YHWH.

14 “நான் அவளை வசப்படுத்தப் போகிறேன்; நான் அவளை பாலைவனத்திற்கு அழைத்துச்சென்று, அங்கே அவளோடு அன்பாகப் பேசுவேன்.

“Therefore, behold, I am enticing her, And have caused her to go to the wilderness, And I have spoken to her heart,

15 அங்கே அவளுடைய திராட்சைத் தோட்டங்களை நான் அவளுக்குத் திரும்பக் கொடுப்பேன்; நான் ஆகோர் என்னும் கஷ்டத்தின் பள்ளத்தாக்கை, எதிர்பார்ப்பின் கதவாக ஆக்குவேன். அவள் தன் வாலிப நாட்களில் தான் எகிப்திலிருந்து வந்தபோது, பாடியதுபோல் அங்கே பாடுவாள்.

And given to her her vineyards from there, And the Valley of Achor for an opening of hope, And she has responded there as in the days of her youth, And as in the day of her coming up out of the land of Egypt.

16 “அந்த நாளிலே, நீ என்னை ‘என் பாகாலே’ என்று அழைக்காமல், ‘என் கணவனே’ என்று அழைப்பாய்” என்று யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

And it has come to pass in that day,” A declaration of YHWH, “You call Me: My husband, And do not call Me anymore: My lord.

17 “நான் அவளுடைய உதடுகளிலிருந்து பாகால்களின் பெயர்களை அகற்றிவிடுவேன்; அவற்றின் பெயர்கள் இனி ஒருபோதும் சொல்லி வணங்கப்படமாட்டாது.

And I have turned aside the names of the lords from her mouth, And they are not remembered anymore by their name.

18 அந்நாளிலே நான் அவர்களுக்காக வெளியின் மிருகங்களோடும், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளோடும், தரையில் ஊரும் பிராணிகளோடும் ஒரு உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்துவேன். நான் வில்லையும் வாளையும் யுத்தத்தையும் நாட்டில் இராதபடி செய்வேன்; அதனால் அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் படுக்கும்போது பாதுகாப்பாய் இருப்பார்கள்.

And I have made a covenant for them in that day, With the beast of the field, And with the bird of the heavens, And the creeping thing of the ground, And bow, and sword, and war I break from off the land, And have caused them to lie down confidently.

19 நான் உன்னை என்றென்றைக்கும் எனக்கென்று நிச்சயித்துக்கொள்வேன்; நான் உன்னை நீதியுடனும், நியாயத்துடனும், அன்புடனும், கருணையுடனும் நிச்சயித்துக்கொள்வேன்.

And I have betrothed you to Me for all time, And betrothed you to Me in righteousness, And in judgment, and kindness, and mercies,

20 நான் உண்மையோடு உன்னை எனக்காக நிச்சயித்துக்கொள்வேன்; நீயும் யெகோவாவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வாய்.

And betrothed you to Me in faithfulness, And you have known YHWH.

21 “அந்த நாட்களிலே நான் பதில் கொடுப்பேன்” என்கிறார் யெகோவா: “நான் ஆகாயங்களுக்குக் கட்டளை கொடுப்பேன், அவை பூமிக்கு மழையைக் கொடுக்கும்.

And it has come to pass in that day, I answer,” A declaration of YHWH, “I answer the heavens, and they answer the earth.

22 பூமியானது தானியம், புதுத் திராட்சை இரசம், எண்ணெய் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு மறுமொழி கொடுக்கும்; இவைகள் யெஸ்ரயேலுக்கும் மறுமொழி கொடுக்கும்.

And the earth answers the grain, And the new wine, and the oil, And they answer Jezreel.

23 நாட்டில் நான் அவளை எனக்கென்று நாட்டுவேன்; ‘என் அன்புக்குரியவள் அல்ல’ என்று நான் அழைத்தவளுக்கு நான் எனது அன்பைக் காட்டுவேன். ‘என்னுடைய மக்கள் அல்ல’ என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்களை, ‘நீங்கள் என்னுடைய மக்கள்’ என்று சொல்வேன்; அவர்களும், ‘நீரே எங்கள் இறைவன்’ என்று சொல்வார்கள்.”

And I have sowed her to Me in the land, And I have pitied Lo-Ruhamah, And I have said to Lo-Ammi, You [are] My people, And he says, My God!”
