ஆதியாகமம் 41
1 இரண்டு முழு வருடங்கள் சென்றபின் பார்வோன் ஒரு கனவு கண்டான். அக்கனவில் அவன், நைல் நதி அருகே நின்றான்.
Aftir twei yeer Farao seiy a dreem; he gesside that he stood on a flood,
2 அப்பொழுது கொழுத்ததும், செழிப்பானதுமான ஏழு பசுக்கள் நதியிலிருந்து வெளியேறி, நாணல்களுக்கிடையில் மேய்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தன.
fro which seuene faire kiyn and ful fatte stieden, and weren fed in the places of mareis;
3 அவற்றின் பிறகே அவலட்சணமும், மெலிந்ததுமான ஏழு பசுக்கள் நைல் நதியிலிருந்து வெளியேறி வந்து, நதிக்கரையில் மற்ற பசுக்களின் அருகில் நின்றன.
and othere seuene, foule and leene, camen out of the flood, and weren fed in thilk brenke of the watir, in grene places;
4 அதன்பின் அவலட்சணமும் மெலிந்ததுமான ஏழு பசுக்களும், கொழுத்ததும் செழிப்பானதுமான ஏழு பசுக்களையும் தின்றுவிட்டன. அப்பொழுது பார்வோன் நித்திரையிலிருந்து விழித்துக்கொண்டான்.
and tho deuoureden thilke kien of whiche the fairnesse and comelynesse of bodies was wondurful.
5 மீண்டும் அவன் நித்திரை செய்தபோது, இன்னுமொரு கனவு கண்டான். அக்கனவில் நன்கு விளைந்து முற்றிய ஏழு நெற்கதிர்கள் ஒரே தாளிலிருந்து வளர்ந்து வந்தன.
Farao wakide, and slepte eft, and seiy another dreem; seuen eeris of corn ful and faire camen forth in o stalke,
6 பின்பு மெல்லியதும், கீழ்க்காற்றினால் கருகிப்போனதுமான ஏழு நெற்கதிர்கள் முளைத்து வந்தன.
and othere as many eeris of corn, thinne and smytun with corrupcioun of brennynge wynd,
7 அந்த ஏழு மெலிந்த நெற்கதிர்களும், நன்கு விளைந்து முற்றிய ஏழு நெற்கதிர்களையும் விழுங்கிவிட்டன. பார்வோன் நித்திரையிலிருந்து விழித்தெழுந்தபோது, அது கனவு என அறிந்தான்.
camen forth, deuourynge al the fairenesse of the firste. Farao wakide aftir reste,
8 காலையில் பார்வோனுடைய மனம் குழப்பமடைந்தது, அதனால் அவன் எகிப்திலுள்ள மந்திரவாதிகள், ஞானிகள் எல்லோரையும் வரவழைத்து, தான் கண்ட கனவுகளை அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னான். ஆனால், அவர்கள் ஒருவராலும் அக்கனவுகளுக்கு விளக்கங்கூற முடியவில்லை.
and whanne morewtid was maad, he was aferd bi inward drede, and he sente to alle the expowneris of Egipt, and to alle wise men; and whanne thei weren clepid, he telde the dreem, and noon was that expownede.
9 அப்பொழுது பானம் பரிமாறுவோரின் பொறுப்பாளன் பார்வோனிடம், “நான் செய்த தவறொன்று இன்றுதான் எனக்கு நினைவு வருகிறது.
Thanne at the laste the maistir `of boteleris bithouyte, and seide, Y knowleche my synne;
10 பார்வோன் ஒருமுறை தமது பணியாட்களில் கோபங்கொண்டு, என்னையும் அப்பம் சுடுவோரின் பொறுப்பாளனையும் காவல் அதிகாரியின் வீடாகிய சிறையில் வைத்தார்.
the kyng was wrooth to hise seruauntis, and comaundide me and the maister `of bakeris to be cast doun in to the prisoun of the prince of knyytis,
11 நாங்கள் இருவரும் ஒரே இரவில் கனவு கண்டோம், அவை ஒவ்வொன்றும் வெவ்வேறு விளக்கமுடையதாய் இருந்தன.
where we bothe saien a dreem in o nyyt, biforeschewynge of thingis to comynge.
12 அங்கே காவலர் அதிகாரிக்குப் பணியாளனாயிருந்த, எபிரெய இளைஞன் ஒருவனும் எங்களோடிருந்தான். நாங்கள் அவனிடம் எங்கள் கனவுகளைச் சொன்னோம், அவன் எங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவருடைய கனவின் அர்த்தத்தைச் சொல்லி, அவற்றை எங்களுக்கு விளக்கிக் கூறினான்.
An Ebrew child, seruaunt of the same duk of knyytis was there, to whom we telden the dremes,
13 அவன் எங்களுக்குச் சொன்னவாறே எல்லாம் நிறைவேறின: நான் மறுபடியும் எனது பதவியில் நியமிக்கப்பட்டேன், மற்றவனோ தூக்கிலிடப்பட்டான்” என்றான்.
and herden what euer thing the bifallyng of thing preuede afterward; for Y am restorid to myn office, and he was hangid in a cros.
14 எனவே பார்வோன் யோசேப்பை அழைத்துவரச் செய்தான், அவன் காவல் கிடங்கிலிருந்து உடனே கொண்டுவரப்பட்டான். அவன் சவரம்செய்து, உடைமாற்றி பார்வோன் முன்வந்து நின்றான்.
Anoon at the comaundement of the kyng thei polliden Joseph led out of prisoun, and whanne `the clooth was chaungid, thei brouyten Joseph to the kyng.
15 பார்வோன் யோசேப்பிடம், “நான் ஒரு கனவு கண்டேன், அதற்குரிய விளக்கத்தை யாராலும் சொல்ல முடியவில்லை. யாராவது உனக்கு ஒரு கனவைச் சொன்னால், நீ அதற்கு விளக்கம் கூறுவாய் என நான் கேள்விப்பட்டேன்” என்றான்.
To whom the kyng seide, Y seiye dremes, and noon is that expowneth tho thingis that Y seiy, I haue herd that thou expownest moost prudentli.
16 அதற்கு யோசேப்பு பார்வோனிடம், “என்னால் அதைச் செய்யமுடியாது, ஆனால் பார்வோன் விரும்பும் பதிலை இறைவன் அவருக்குத் தருவார்” என்றான்.
Joseph answerde, With out me, God schal answere prosperitees to Farao.
17 பார்வோன் யோசேப்பிடம், “என் கனவில் நான் நைல் நதிக்கரையில் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தேன்.
Therfor Farao telde that that he seiy; Y gesside that Y stood on the brenke of the flood,
18 அப்பொழுது கொழுத்ததும் செழிப்புமான ஏழு பசுக்கள் நதியிலிருந்து வெளியேறி, நாணல்களுக்கு இடையே மேய்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தன.
and seuene kiyn, ful faire and with fleischis able to etyng, stieden fro the watir, whiche kiyn gaderiden grene seggis in the pasture of the marreis;
19 அவற்றின்பின் எலும்பும் தோலுமான, மெலிந்த அவலட்சணமான வேறு ஏழு பசுக்கள் நதியிலிருந்து வெளியேறின. இதைப்போன்ற அவலட்சணமான பசுக்களை எகிப்து நாடெங்கும் நான் ஒருபோதும் கண்டதில்லை.
and lo! seuene othere kiyn, so foule and leene, sueden these, that Y seiy neuere siche in the lond of Egipt;
20 அந்த மெலிந்த அவலட்சணமுள்ள ஏழு பசுக்களும், முதலில் வெளியேறிய ஏழு கொழுத்த பசுக்களையும் தின்றுவிட்டன.
and whanne the formere kien weren deuourid and wastid, tho secounde yauen no steppe of fulnesse,
21 அவற்றைத் தின்ற பின்பும், அவை அவற்றைத் தின்றன என யாராலும் சொல்ல முடியாதிருந்தது; அவை முன்புபோலவே அவலட்சணமாய் இருந்தன. அதன்பின் நான் விழித்துக்கொண்டேன்.
but weren slowe bi lijk leenesse and palenesse. I wakide, and eft Y was oppressid bi sleep, and Y seiy a dreem;
22 “மேலும், நான் இன்னும் ஒரு கனவைக் கண்டேன். அதில், நன்கு விளைந்து முற்றிய ஏழு நெற்கதிர்கள், ஒரே தாளில் ஓங்கி வளர்ந்ததைக் கண்டேன்.
seuene eeris of corn, ful and faireste, camen forth in o stalke,
23 அதன்பின் வாடிய, மெலிந்த, கீழ்க்காற்றினால் கருகிப்போன வேறு ஏழு கதிர்கள் முளைத்து வந்தன.
and othere seuene, thinne and smytun with `corrupcioun of brennynge wynd, camen forth of the stobil,
24 இந்த மெலிந்த ஏழு நெற்கதிர்களும், மற்ற ஏழு விளைந்த கதிர்களையும் விழுங்கிவிட்டன. நான் இந்தக் கனவுகளை மந்திரவாதிகளிடம் சொன்னேன். ஆனால் அவற்றின் விளக்கத்தை ஒருவனாலும் சொல்ல முடியவில்லை” என்றான்.
whiche deuouriden the fairenesse of the formere;
25 அப்பொழுது யோசேப்பு, “பார்வோனின் இரு கனவுகளுமே ஒன்றுதான். இறைவன் செய்யப்போவதைப் பார்வோனுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்.
Y telde the dreem to expowneris, and no man is that expowneth. Joseph answerde, The dreem of the king is oon; God schewide to Farao what thingis he schal do.
26 நல்ல ஏழு பசுக்களும் ஏழு வருடங்கள், நல்ல ஏழு கதிர்களும் ஏழு வருடங்கள்; இவை இரண்டும் ஒரே கனவுதான்.
Seuene faire kiyn, and seuene ful eeris of corn, ben seuene yeeris of plentee, and tho comprehenden the same strengthe of dreem;
27 அவற்றின்பின் வந்த மெலிந்த அவலட்சணமுள்ள ஏழு பசுக்களும், அப்படியே கீழ்க்காற்றினால் கருகிப்போன பயனற்ற ஏழு கதிர்களும் பஞ்சமுள்ள ஏழு வருடங்கள்.
and seuene kiyn thinne and leene, that stieden aftir tho, and seuene thinne eeris of corn and smytun with brennynge wynd, ben seuene yeer of hungur to comynge,
28 “பார்வோனுக்கு நான் சொன்னதுபோல், இறைவன் தாம் செய்யப்போவதைப் பார்வோனுக்குக் காண்பித்திருக்கிறார்.
whiche schulen be fillid bi this ordre.
29 எகிப்து நாடெங்கும் நிறைவான விளைச்சலுள்ள ஏழு வருடங்கள் வரப்போகின்றன.
Lo! seuene yeer of greet plentee in al the lond of Egipt schulen come,
30 ஆனால் அதைத் தொடர்ந்து பஞ்சம் நிறைந்த ஏழு வருடங்கள் வரும். அப்பொழுது எகிப்தின் நிறைவான விளைச்சல் மறக்கப்படும், பஞ்சம் எகிப்து நாடு முழுவதையும் பாழாக்கும்.
and seuene othre yeer of so greet bareynesse schulen sue tho, that al the abundaunce bifore be youun to foryetyng; for the hungur schal waste al the lond,
31 நாட்டின் நிறைவான விளைச்சலுக்குப் பின் வரப்போகும் பஞ்சம் மிகவும் கொடியதாகையால், அந்த நிறைவான காலம் நினைக்கப்படமாட்டாது.
and the greetnesse of pouert schal leese the greetnesse of plentee.
32 இது இறைவனால் உறுதியாகத் தீர்மானிக்கப்பட்டபடியாலும், இதை இறைவன் விரைவில் நிறைவேற்றுவார் என்பதாலுமே, இறைவன் இவற்றைப் பார்வோனுக்கு இரண்டு விதத்தில் கனவுகளால் வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.
Forsothe this that thou siyest the secunde tyme a dreem, perteynynge to the same thing, is a `schewyng of sadnesse, for the word of God schal be doon, and schal be fillid ful swiftli.
33 “ஆதலால் பார்வோன் விவேகமும், ஞானமுமுள்ள ஒரு மனிதனைத் தேடி, எகிப்து நாட்டுக்கு அவனைப் பொறுப்பாக நியமிப்பாராக.
Now therfor puruey the kyng a wijs man and a redi, and make the kyng hym souereyn to the lond of Egipt,
34 பார்வோன் ஏழு வருட நிறைவான விளைச்சல் காலங்களில் எகிப்தின் அறுவடையில் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கைச் சேகரித்து வைப்பதற்காக, நிலத்தின் மேற்பார்வையாளர்களையும் நியமிப்பாராக.
which man ordeyne gouernouris bi alle cuntreis, and gadere he in to bernys the fyuethe part of fruytis bi seuene yeer of plentee,
35 அவர்கள் வரப்போகிற வளமான வருடங்களில் விளையும் தானியங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் சேகரித்து, பார்வோனின் அதிகாரத்தின்கீழ் அந்த தானியங்களை பட்டணங்களில் உணவுக்காக அதைப் பாதுகாக்க வேண்டும்.
that schulen come now; and al the wheete be kept vndur the power of Farao, and be it kept in citees,
36 எகிப்து பஞ்சத்தினால் அழிந்துபோகாதபடி, அதன்மேல் வரப்போகும் ஏழு வருட பஞ்சகாலத்தில் பயன்படுத்துவதற்காக, அந்த தானியம் ஒதுக்கி வைக்கப்பட வேண்டும்” என்றான்.
and be it maad redi to the hungur to comynge of seuene yeer that schal oppresse Egipt, and the lond be not wastid bi pouert.
37 அந்த திட்டம் பார்வோனுக்கும் அவனுடைய அலுவலர்களுக்கும் நலமாய்க் காணப்பட்டது.
The counsel pleside Farao,
38 பார்வோன் தம்முடைய அலுவலர்களிடம், “இறைவனின் ஆவியையுடைய இந்த மனிதனைப்போல் ஒருவனை நாம் காணக்கூடுமோ?” என்று கேட்டான்.
and alle his mynystris, and he spak to hem, Wher we moun fynde sich a man which is ful of Goddis spirit?
39 பின்பு பார்வோன் யோசேப்பிடம், “இவை எல்லாவற்றையும் இறைவன் உனக்கு தெரிவித்திருப்பதால், உன்னைப்போல் விவேகமும் ஞானமும் உள்ளவன் வேறொருவனும் இல்லை.
Therfor Farao seide to Joseph, For God hath schewid to thee alle thingis whiche thou hast spoke, wher Y mai fynde a wisere man and lijk thee?
40 எனவே, நான் உன்னை என் அரண்மனைக்கு அதிகாரி ஆக்குகிறேன்; என் மக்கள் யாவரும் உன் கட்டளைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்பார்கள். என் அரியணையில் மட்டுமே நான் உன்னிலும் பெரியவனாயிருப்பேன்” என்றான்.
Therfor thou schalt be ouer myn hous, and al the puple schal obeie to the comaundement of thi mouth; Y schal passe thee onely by o trone of the rewme.
41 மேலும் பார்வோன் யோசேப்பிடம், “உன்னை எகிப்து நாடு முழுவதற்கும் பொறுப்பதிகாரியாக நியமிக்கிறேன்” என்றான்.
And eft Farao seide to Joseph, Lo! Y haue ordeyned thee on al the lond of Egipt.
42 பின்பு பார்வோன் தன் விரலில் அணிந்திருந்த தன் முத்திரை மோதிரத்தைக் கழற்றி, யோசேப்பின் விரலில் போட்டான். அவன் சிறந்த மென்பட்டு அங்கியை அவனுக்கு உடுத்தி, கழுத்தில் ஒரு தங்கச்சங்கிலியையும் அணிவித்தான்.
And Farao took the ryng fro his hond, and yaf it in the hond of Joseph, and he clothide Joseph with a stoole of bijs, and puttide a goldun wrethe aboute the necke;
43 அதிகாரத்தில் தனக்கு அடுத்தவனாக அவனை தேரில் ஏற்றி பவனி வரச்செய்தான். அவனுக்கு முன்சென்ற மனிதர், “மண்டியிட்டுப் பணியுங்கள்!” என்று சத்தமிட்டார்கள். இவ்வாறு பார்வோன் அவனை எகிப்து நாடு முழுவதற்கும் அதிகாரியாக நியமித்தான்.
and Farao made Joseph to `stie on his secounde chare, while a bidele criede, that alle men schulden knele bifore hym, and schulden knowe that he was souereyn of al the lond of Egipt.
44 மேலும் பார்வோன் யோசேப்பிடம், “நான் பார்வோன்; ஆனாலும் எகிப்திலுள்ள யாரும் உனது உத்தரவின்றி கையையோ, காலையோ உயர்த்தக் கூடாது” என்றான்.
And the kyng seide to Joseph, Y am Farao, without thi comaundement no man shal stire hond ether foot in al the lond of Egipt.
45 பார்வோன் யோசேப்பின் பெயரை சாப்நாத்பன்னேயா என மாற்றி, போத்திபிரா என்னும் ஓன் பட்டண ஆசாரியனின் மகள் ஆஸ்நாத்தை அவனுக்கு மனைவியாகக் கொடுத்தான். பின்பு யோசேப்பு எகிப்து நாடு முழுவதையும் சுற்றிப்பார்க்கச் சென்றான்.
And he turnede the name of Joseph, and clepide him bi Egipcian langage, the sauyour of the world; and he yaf to Joseph a wijf, Asenech, the douyter of Potifar, preest of Heliopoleos. And so Joseph yede out to the lond of Egipt.
46 யோசேப்பு எகிப்தின் அரசனாகிய பார்வோனுக்கு பணிபுரியத் தொடங்கியபோது, அவன் முப்பது வயதுடையவனாய் இருந்தான். யோசேப்பு பார்வோன் முன்னிலையில் இருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், எகிப்து முழுவதையும் சுற்றிப் பயணம் செய்தான்.
Forsothe Joseph was of thretti yeer, whanne he stood in the siyt of kyng Farao, and cumpasside alle the cuntreis of Egipt.
47 அப்படியே செழிப்பான ஏழு வருடங்களில் நாடு மிகுதியான விளைச்சலைக் கொடுத்தது.
And the plente of seuene yeer cam, and ripe corn weren bounden into handfuls, and weren gaderid into the bernys of Egipt,
48 செழிப்பான அந்த ஏழு வருடங்களில் எகிப்தில் விளைந்த தானியங்களை, யோசேப்பு பட்டணங்களில் சேகரித்து வைத்தான். ஒவ்வொரு பட்டணத்திலும் அதன் சுற்றுப்புறங்களிலுள்ள வயல்களில் விளைந்த தானியங்களைச் சேர்த்துவைத்தான்.
also al the aboundaunce of cornes weren kept in alle citeis,
49 யோசேப்பு தானியத்தைக் கடலின் மணலைப்போல் பெருமளவாகச் சேர்த்துவைத்தான். அது கணக்கிட முடியாதபடி மிக அதிகமாக இருந்தபடியால், பின்பு அவன் பதிவுசெய்வதை நிறுத்திவிட்டான்.
and so greet aboundaunce was of wheete, that it was maad euene to the grauel of the see, and the plente passide mesure.
50 பஞ்சமுள்ள வருடங்கள் தொடங்குவதற்கு முன்பே யோசேப்புக்கும் ஓன் பட்டணத்தின் ஆசாரியனாகிய போத்திபிராவின் மகள் ஆஸ்நாத்துக்கும் இரண்டு மகன்கள் பிறந்தார்கள்.
Sotheli twei sones were born to Joseph bifor that the hungur came, whiche Asenech, douytir of Putifar, preest of Heliopoleos, childide to hym.
51 அப்பொழுது யோசேப்பு, “இறைவன் என் தொல்லைகளையும், என் தகப்பன் வீட்டையும் மறக்கச்செய்தார்” என்று சொல்லி, தன் மூத்த மகனுக்கு மனாசே எனப் பெயரிட்டான்.
And he clepide the name of the firste gendrid sone, Manasses, and seide, God hath maad me to foryete alle my traueilis, and the hous of my fadir;
52 “நான் துன்பப்பட்ட நாட்டிலே இறைவன் என்னைச் செழிக்கப்பண்ணினார் என்று சொல்லி, தன் இரண்டாவது மகனுக்கு எப்பிராயீம் எனப் பெயரிட்டான்.”
and he clepide the name of the secunde sone Effraym, and seide, God hath maad me to encreesse in the lond of my pouert.
53 எகிப்தின் செழிப்பான வளம் நிறைந்த ஏழு வருடங்களும் முடிவுற்றன.
Therfor whanne seuene yeer of plentee that weren in Egipt weren passid,
54 அதன்பின் யோசேப்பு சொல்லியிருந்தது போலவே, பஞ்சம் நிறைந்த ஏழு வருடங்கள் ஆரம்பமாகின. மற்ற எல்லா நாடுகளிலும் பஞ்சம் உண்டானது, ஆனால் எகிப்து முழுவதிலும் உணவு இருந்தது.
seuene yeer of pouert bigunnen to come, whiche Joseph bifore seide, and hungur hadde the maistri in al the world; also hungur was in al the lond of Egipt;
55 எகிப்தியர் எல்லோரும் பஞ்சத்தை அனுபவிக்கத் தொடங்கியபோது, பார்வோனிடம் உணவு கேட்டு அழுதார்கள். பார்வோன் எல்லா எகிப்தியரிடமும், “நீங்கள் யோசேப்பிடம் போய், அவன் சொல்லுகிறபடி செய்யுங்கள்” என்றான்.
and whanne that lond hungride, the puple criede to Farao, and axide metis; to whiche he answeride, Go ye to Joseph, and do ye what euer thing he seith to you.
56 எகிப்து முழுவதிலும் பஞ்சம் பரவியபோது, யோசேப்பு எல்லா களஞ்சியங்களையும் திறந்து, தானியத்தை எகிப்தியருக்கு விற்றான். ஏனெனில், பஞ்சம் எகிப்து முழுவதும் கொடியதாயிருந்தது.
Forsothe hungur encreesside ech dai in al the lond, and Joseph openyde alle the bernys, and seelde to Egipcians, for also hungur oppresside hem;
57 உலகெங்கும் பஞ்சம் கொடியதாய் இருந்தபடியால், எல்லா நாட்டினரும் யோசேப்பிடம் தானியம் வாங்குவதற்காக எகிப்திற்கு வந்தார்கள்.
and alle prouynces camen in to Egipt to bie metis, and to abate the yuel of nedynesse.
