ஆதியாகமம் 29
1 பின்பு யாக்கோபு தன் பயணத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து, கிழக்குத் திசையாரின் நாட்டிற்குப் போனான்.
And he lifted up Jacob feet his and he went [the] land of towards [the] people of [the] east.
2 அங்குள்ள வயல்வெளியில் ஒரு கிணற்றையும், அதன் அருகே மூன்று ஆட்டுமந்தைகள் படுத்திருப்பதையும் அவன் கண்டான்; அக்கிணற்றில் இருந்தே அவற்றுக்குத் தண்ணீர் கொடுக்கப்படும். கிணற்றின் வாயை மூடியிருந்த கல் பெரிதாயிருந்தது.
And he saw and there! a well [was] in the field and there! there three flocks of sheep [were] lying down at it for from the well that people watered the flocks and the stone [was] large over [the] mouth of the well.
3 எல்லா மந்தைகளும் சேர்ந்தவுடன் மேய்ப்பர்கள் கிணற்றின் வாயிலிருக்கும் கல்லைப் புரட்டி, செம்மறியாடுகளுக்குத் தண்ணீர் கொடுப்பார்கள். அதன்பின் திரும்பவும் அக்கல்லைக் கிணற்றின் வாயின்மேல் முன்பிருந்த இடத்தில் புரட்டி வைப்பார்கள்.
And they were gathered there towards all the flocks and they rolled the stone from over [the] mouth of the well and they watered the sheep and they put back the stone over [the] mouth of the well to place its.
4 யாக்கோபு அந்த மேய்ப்பர்களிடம், “என் சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் எங்கிருந்து வருகிறீர்கள்?” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு அவர்கள், “நாங்கள் ஆரான் ஊரிலிருந்து வருகிறோம்” என்றார்கள்.
And he said to them Jacob O brothers my from where? [are] you and they said [are] from Haran we.
5 யாக்கோபு அவர்களிடம், “உங்களுக்கு நாகோரின் பேரன் லாபானைத் தெரியுமா?” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு அவர்கள், “ஆம்; எங்களுக்குத் தெரியும்” என்றார்கள்.
And he said to them ¿ do you know Laban [the] son of Nahor and they said we know [him].
6 “அவர் சுகமாயிருக்கிறாரா?” என்று யாக்கோபு விசாரித்தான். “சுகமாயிருக்கிறார்; இதோ அவருடைய மகள் ராகேல் ஆடுகளை ஓட்டிக்கொண்டு வருகிறாள்” என்றார்கள்.
And he said to them ¿ [does] health [belong] to him and they said health and there! Rachel daughter his [is] coming with the sheep.
7 அதற்கு யாக்கோபு அவர்களிடம், “இன்னும் சூரியன் மறையவில்லையே; இது மந்தைகளைச் சேர்க்கிற நேரமும் இல்லை. ஆடுகளுக்குத் தண்ணீர் கொடுத்து மறுபடியும் மேயவிடலாம்” என்றான்.
And he said here! still the day [is] great not [the] time of [the] being gathered of the livestock water the sheep and go pasture [them].
8 அதற்கு அவர்கள், “எல்லா மந்தைகளும் சேரும்வரை அப்படிச் செய்யமுடியாது. சேர்ந்ததும் கிணற்றின் வாயிலிருக்கும் கல் புரட்டப்படும். அப்பொழுது ஆடுகளுக்குத் தண்ணீர் காட்டுவோம்” என்றார்கள்.
And they said not we are able until that they will be gathered all the flocks and people will roll the stone from over [the] mouth of the well and we will water the sheep.
9 அவன் அவர்களுடன் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், ராகேல் மந்தை மேய்ப்பவளாய் இருந்தபடியால், தன் தகப்பனின் ஆடுகளுடன் அங்கே வந்தாள்.
Still [was] he speaking with them and Rachel - she came with the sheep which [belonged] to father her for [was] a shepherdess she.
10 யாக்கோபு தன் தாயின் சகோதரன் லாபானின் மகள் ராகேலையும், லாபானின் செம்மறியாடுகளையும் கண்டவுடனே, அவன் கிணற்றண்டை போய் அதன் வாயிலிருந்த கல்லை உருட்டி, தன் மாமனின் செம்மறியாடுகளுக்குத் தண்ணீர் காட்டினான்.
And it was just as he saw Jacob Rachel [the] daughter of Laban [the] brother of mother his and [the] sheep of Laban [the] brother of mother his and he drew near Jacob and he rolled the stone from over [the] mouth of the well and he watered [the] sheep of Laban [the] brother of mother his.
11 பின்பு யாக்கோபு ராகேலை முத்தஞ்செய்து சத்தமிட்டு அழத்தொடங்கினான்.
And he kissed Jacob Rachel and he lifted up voice his and he wept.
12 அவன் ராகேலிடம், “நான் உன் தகப்பனின் உறவினன்; ரெபெக்காளின் மகன்” என்று சொன்னான். உடனே அவள் ஓடிப்போய் அதைத் தன் தகப்பனுக்குச் சொன்னாள்.
And he told Jacob to Rachel that [was] [the] relative of father her he and that [was] [the] son of Rebekah he and she ran and she told to father her.
13 தன் சகோதரியின் மகன் யாக்கோபைப் பற்றிய செய்தியைக் கேட்ட லாபான் அவனைச் சந்திப்பதற்காக விரைவாய் வந்தான். அவன் அவனைக் கட்டி அணைத்து, முத்தமிட்டு, தன் வீட்டுக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றான். நடந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் யாக்கோபு தன் மாமன் லாபானுக்கு சொன்னான்.
And it was when heard Laban [the] report of - Jacob [the] son of sister his and he ran to meet him and he embraced him and he kissed him and he brought him to house his and he recounted to Laban all the things these.
14 அப்பொழுது லாபான் யாக்கோபிடம், “நீ என் சொந்த இரத்த சம்மந்தமான உறவினன்” என்றான். யாக்கோபு லாபானுடன் ஒரு மாதம் தங்கியிருந்தான்.
And he said to him Laban surely [are] bone my and flesh my you and he remained with him a month of days.
15 அதன்பின்பு லாபான் யாக்கோபிடம், “நீ எனக்கு உறவினன் என்பதால், கூலியில்லாமல் எனக்கு வேலைசெய்ய வேண்டுமோ? நீ விரும்பும் கூலியைக் கேள்” என்றான்.
And he said Laban to Jacob ¿ for relative my [are] you and you will serve me for nothing tell! to me what? [is] wage[s] your.
16 லாபானுக்கு இரண்டு மகள்கள் இருந்தார்கள். மூத்தவள் பெயர் லேயாள், இளையவள் பெயர் ராகேல்.
And [belonged] to Laban two daughters [the] name of the old [one] [was] Leah and [the] name of the young [one] [was] Rachel.
17 லேயாள் பார்வை குறைந்த கண்களை உடையவள். ராகேலோ நல்ல உடலமைப்பும் அழகும் உடையவள்.
And [the] eyes of Leah [were] weak and Rachel she was beautiful of form and beautiful of appearance.
18 யாக்கோபு ராகேலை நேசித்தான். எனவே அவன் லாபானிடம், “உமது இளையமகள் ராகேலுக்காக நான் உம்மிடம் ஏழு வருடங்கள் வேலை செய்வேன்” என்றான்.
And he loved Jacob Rachel and he said I will serve you seven years for Rachel daughter your young.
19 அதற்கு லாபான், “நான் அவளை வேறொருவனுக்குக் கொடுப்பதைப் பார்க்கிலும் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பது நல்லது; நீ என்னுடன் இங்கேயே தங்கியிரு” என்றான்.
And he said Laban ([is] good *LB(ah)*) to give I her to you more than to give I her to a man another remain! with me.
20 அப்படியே யாக்கோபு ராகேலை அடைவதற்காக லாபானிடம் ஏழு வருடங்கள் வேலைசெய்தான். அவன் ராகேலின்மேல் வைத்திருந்த நேசத்தினால், அந்த ஏழு வருடங்களும் அவனுக்கு சிலநாட்கள் போலவே இருந்தன.
And he served Jacob for Rachel seven years and they were in view his like days one in love his her.
21 பின்பு யாக்கோபு லாபானிடம், “நான் உம்மிடம் உடன்பட்ட காலம் நிறைவாகிவிட்டது; நான் ராகேலை திருமணம் செய்துகொள்ளும்படி அவளை எனக்குக் கொடும்” என்றான்.
And he said Jacob to Laban give! wife my for they have been completed days my so I may go into her.
22 அப்பொழுது லாபான், அந்த இடத்தின் மக்களையெல்லாம் ஒன்றாய்க் கூட்டி, ஒரு விருந்து கொடுத்தான்.
And he gathered Laban all [the] people of the place and he prepared a feast.
23 ஆனால் அன்று இரவு லாபான், தன் மகள் லேயாளை அழைத்துக் கொண்டுபோய், யாக்கோபிடம் கொடுத்தான். யாக்கோபு அவளுடன் உறவுகொண்டான்.
And it was in the evening and he took Leah daughter his and he brought her to him and he went into her.
24 லாபான் தன் வீட்டுப் பணிப்பெண் சில்பாளை தன் மகள் லேயாளுக்குப் பணிப்பெண்ணாக அனுப்பினான்.
And he had given Laban to her Zilpah maidservant his to Leah daughter his a maidservant.
25 பொழுது விடிந்ததும், யாக்கோபு தன்னுடன் இருந்தவள் லேயாள் என்பதைக் கண்டான். அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு லாபானிடம், “எனக்கு நீர் செய்திருப்பது என்ன? நான் ராகேலுக்காக அல்லவோ உம்மிடம் வேலைசெய்தேன்; நீர் ஏன் என்னை ஏமாற்றினீர்?” என்று கேட்டான்.
And it was in the morning and there! she [was] Leah and he said to Laban what? this have you done to me ¿ not for Rachel have I served with you and why? have you deceived me.
26 அதற்கு லாபான், “மூத்தவள் இருக்க இளைய மகளைத் திருமணம் செய்து கொடுப்பது இங்கு எங்கள் வழக்கமல்ல.
And he said Laban not it is done thus in place our to give the young before the firstborn.
27 மணமகளுக்குரிய ஏழு நாட்களை நீ நிறைவேற்று. பின்பு உனக்கு இளைய மகளையும் கொடுப்போம், அவளுக்காகவும் இன்னும் ஏழு வருடங்கள் நீ என்னிடத்தில் வேலைசெய்” என்றான்.
Complete [the] week of this [one] so let us give to you also this [one] for [the] service which you will serve with me again seven years another.
28 யாக்கோபு அப்படியே செய்தான். லேயாளுக்குரிய ஏழு நாட்களையும் அவன் நிறைவேற்றியதும் லாபான் தன் மகள் ராகேலையும் அவனுக்கு மனைவியாகக் கொடுத்தான்.
And he did Jacob thus and he completed [the] week of this [one] and he gave to him Rachel daughter his of him to a wife.
29 லாபான் தன் வீட்டுப் பணிப்பெண் பில்காளை தன் மகள் ராகேலுக்குப் பணிப்பெண்ணாகக் கொடுத்தான்.
And he had given Laban to Rachel daughter his Bilhah maidservant his to her to [be] a maidservant.
30 யாக்கோபு ராகேலுடன் உறவுகொண்டான், யாக்கோபு லேயாளைவிட ராகேலை அதிகமாக நேசித்தான். அவன் ராகேலுக்காக மேலும் ஏழு வருடங்கள் லாபானிடம் வேலைசெய்தான்.
And he went also into Rachel and he loved also Rachel more than Leah and he served with him again seven years another.
31 லேயாள் நேசிக்கப்படாமல் இருந்ததை யெகோவா கண்டபோது, அவள் கருத்தரிக்கும்படி செய்தார். ராகேலோ மலடியாய் இருந்தாள்.
And he saw Yahweh that [was] hated Leah and he opened womb her and Rachel [was] barren.
32 லேயாள் கருத்தரித்து ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றாள். “யெகோவா என் துன்பத்தைக் கண்டார்; நிச்சயம் என் கணவர் இப்பொழுது என்னிடம் அன்பாயிருப்பார்” என்று அவள் சொல்லி அவனுக்கு ரூபன் என்று பெயரிட்டாள்.
And she conceived Leah and she bore a son and she called name his Reuben for she said that he has looked Yahweh on affliction my for now he will love me husband my.
33 மறுபடியும் அவள் கருத்தரித்து, ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றாள். “நான் நேசிக்கப்படவில்லை என்பதை யெகோவா கண்டு இந்த மகனையும் எனக்குக் கொடுத்தார்” என்று சொல்லி அவனுக்கு சிமியோன் என்று பெயரிட்டாள்.
And she conceived again and she bore a son and she said that he has heard Yahweh that [am] hated I and he has given to me also this [one] and she called name his Simeon.
34 திரும்பவும் அவள் கருத்தரித்து, ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றாள். “நான் என் கணவனுக்கு மூன்று மகன்களைப் பெற்றபடியால், அவர் இப்பொழுது என்னுடன் ஒன்றிணைந்திருப்பார்” என்று சொன்னாள். அதனால் அவன் லேவி என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டான்.
And she conceived again and she bore a son and she said now this time he will join himself husband my to me for I have borne to him three sons there-fore he called name his Levi.
35 மீண்டும் அவள் கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றாள். “இப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவாவைத் துதிப்பேன்” என்று சொல்லி அவனுக்கு யூதா என்று பெயரிட்டாள். அதன்பின்பு அவள் பிள்ளைகள் பெறவில்லை.
And she conceived again and she bore a son and she said this time I will praise Yahweh there-fore she called name his Judah and she stopped from bearing children.
