ஆதியாகமம் 10
1 பெருவெள்ளத்திற்கு பிறகு நோவாவின் மகன்களாகிய சேம், காம், யாப்பேத் என்பவர்களுக்கு, பிறந்த மகன்களின் வம்சவரலாறு.
And these [are] [the] accounts of [the] sons of Noah Shem Ham and Japheth and they were born to them sons after the flood.
2 யாப்பேத்தின் மகன்கள்: கோமர், மாகோகு, மாதாய், யாவான், தூபால், மேசேக்கு, தீராஸ்.
[the] sons of Japheth [were] Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.
3 கோமரின் மகன்கள்: அஸ்கினாஸ், ரீப்பாத்து, தொகர்மா.
And [the] sons of Gomer [were] Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah.
4 யாவானின் மகன்கள்: எலீஷா, தர்ஷீஸ், கித்தீம், தொதானீம்.
And [the] sons of Javan [were] Elishah and Tarshish Kittim and Dodanim.
5 இவர்களிலிருந்து கடற்கரை ஓரங்களில் வசிக்கும் மக்கள், தங்கள் வம்சங்களின்படியே, அவரவருக்குரிய சொந்த மொழிகளுடன், தங்கள் பிரதேசங்களுக்குள் பரவினார்கள்.
From these they separated [the] coastlands of the nations in own lands their each to own language its to clans their in nations their.
6 காமின் மகன்கள்: கூஷ், மிஸ்ராயீம், பூத், கானான்.
And [the] sons of Ham [were] Cush and Mizraim and Put and Canaan.
7 கூஷின் மகன்கள்: சேபா, ஆவிலா, சப்தா, ராமா, சப்திகா. ராமாவின் மகன்கள்: சேபா, திதான்.
And [the] sons of Cush [were] Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabteca and [the] sons of Raamah [were] Sheba and Dedan.
8 கூஷின் மகன் நிம்ரோத்; இவன் பூமியில் வலிமையுள்ள வீரனாக விளங்கினான்.
And Cush he fathered Nimrod he he began to be a mighty [man] on the earth.
9 அவன் யெகோவாவின் பார்வையில் மிகவும் வலிமைவாய்ந்த வேட்டைக்காரனாய் இருந்தான்; அதனால்தான், “யெகோவா முன்னிலையில் வலிமையுள்ள வேட்டைக்காரன் நிம்ரோதைப்போல்” என்ற வழக்கச்சொல் உண்டாயிற்று.
He he was a mighty [man] of hunting before Yahweh there-fore it is said like Nimrod a mighty [man] of hunting before Yahweh.
10 சிநெயார் நாட்டிலுள்ள பாபேல், ஏரேக், அக்காத், கல்னே ஆகிய இடங்களே அவனுடைய அரசாட்சியின் முக்கிய இடங்களாயிருந்தன.
And it was [the] beginning of kingdom his Babel and Erech and Akkad and Calneh in [the] land of Shinar.
11 அவன் அந்நாட்டிலிருந்து அசீரியாவுக்குப் போய், அங்கே நினிவே, ரெகொபோத் ஈர், காலாகு என்னும் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டினான்.
From the land that he went forth Assyria and he built Nineveh and Rehoboth-Ir and Calah.
12 நினிவேக்கும், காலாகுக்கும் இடையில் ரெசேன் பட்டணத்தையும் கட்டினான்; இது பிரதான நகரம்.
And Resen between Nineveh and between Calah that [is] the city great.
13 மிஸ்ராயீமின் சந்ததிகள்: லூதீமியர், ஆனாமியர், லெகாபியர், நப்தூகியர்,
And Mizraim he fathered [the] Ludites and [the] Anamites and [the] Lehabites and [the] Naphtuhites.
14 பத்ரூசீயர், பெலிஸ்தியரின் சந்ததிக்கு தலைவனான கஸ்லூகியர், கப்தோரியர்.
And [the] Pathrusites and [the] Casluhites where they came out from there [the] Philistines and [the] Caphtorites.
15 கானானின் சந்ததிகள்: மூத்த மகன் சீதோன், கேத்து,
And Canaan he fathered Sidon firstborn his and Heth.
16 எபூசியர், எமோரியர், கிர்காசியர்,
And the Jebusite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Girgashite[s].
17 ஏவியர், அர்கீயர், சீனியர்,
And the Hivite[s] and the Arkite[s] and the Sinite[s].
18 அர்வாதியர், செமாரியர், காமாத்தியர். பின்பு கானானிய வம்சத்தினர் பல இடங்களிலும் குடியேறினர்.
And the Arvadite[s] and the Zemarite[s] and the Hamathite[s] and after they were scattered [the] clans of the Canaanite[s].
19 கானானியரின் எல்லை சீதோன் முதல் கேரார் வழியாகக் காசாவரைக்கும், பின்பு சோதோம், கொமோரா, அத்மா, செபோயீம் வழியாக லாசாவரைக்கும் பரந்திருந்தது.
And it was [the] border of the Canaanite[s] from Sidon going you Gerar towards to Gaza going you Sodom towards and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim to Lasha.
20 அவரவர் வம்சங்களின்படியும், மொழிகளின்படியும், தங்கள் நாடுகளுக்குள்ளும் எல்லைகளுக்குள்ளும் குடியிருந்த காமின் மகன்கள் இவர்களே.
These [were] [the] sons of Ham to clans their to languages their in lands their in nations their.
21 சேமுக்கு மகன்கள் பிறந்தார்கள், அவனுடைய மூத்த சகோதரன் யாப்பேத்; சேம் ஏபேரின் மகன்கள் எல்லாருக்கும் முற்பிதாவாய் இருந்தான்.
And to Shem was born also he [the] father of all [the] sons of Eber [the] brother of Japheth old.
22 சேமின் மகன்கள்: ஏலாம், அசூர், அர்பக்சாத், லூத், ஆராம்.
[the] sons of Shem [were] Elam and Asshur and Arphaxad and Lud and Aram.
23 ஆராமின் மகன்கள்: ஊத்ஸ், கூல், கேத்தெர், மாஸ்.
And [the] sons of Aram [were] Uz and Hul and Gether and Mash.
24 அர்பக்சாத் சேலாவின் தகப்பன், சேலா ஏபேரின் தகப்பன்.
And Arphaxad he fathered Shelah and Shelah he fathered Eber.
25 ஏபேருக்கு இரண்டு மகன்கள் பிறந்தார்கள். ஒருவன் பெயர் பேலேகு, ஏனெனில், அவன் காலத்தில் பூமியிலுள்ள மக்கள் வெவ்வேறு மொழி குழுக்களாக பிரிக்கப்பட்டனர்; அவனுடைய சகோதரன் பெயர் யொக்தான்.
And to Eber was born two sons [the] name of the one [was] Peleg for in days his was divided the earth and [the] name of brother his [was] Joktan.

And Joktan he fathered Almodad and Sheleph and Hazarmaveth and Jerah.
27 அதோராம், ஊசால், திக்லா,
And Hadoram and Uzal and Diklah.
28 ஓபால், அபிமாயேல், சேபா,
And Obal and Abimael and Sheba.
29 ஓப்பீர், ஆவிலா, யோபாப் ஆகியோரின் தகப்பன். இவர்களே யொக்தானின் மகன்கள்.
And Ophir and Havilah and Jobab all these [were] [the] sons of Joktan.
30 இவர்கள் குடியிருந்த பிரதேசம் மேசாவிலிருந்து, கிழக்கு மலைப் பகுதியிலுள்ள செப்பார்வரை பரவியிருந்தது.
And it was dwelling place their from Mesha going you Sephar towards [the] hill country of the east.
31 அவரவர் வம்சங்களின்படியும், மொழிகளின்படியும் தங்கள் பிரதேசங்களிலும் நாடுகளிலும் வாழ்ந்த சேமுடைய சந்ததியினர் இவர்களே.
These [were] [the] sons of Shem to clans their to languages their in lands their to nations their.
32 தங்கள் நாடுகளிலுள்ள நோவாவுடைய மகன்களின் வழிவந்த குடும்பவாரியான வம்சங்களின் சந்ததிகள் இவையே. இவர்களிலிருந்தே பெருவெள்ளத்திற்கு பிறகு பூமியெங்கும் நாடுகள் பரவின.
These [were] [the] clans of [the] sons of Noah to descendants their in nations their and from these they separated the nations on the earth after the flood.
