எசேக்கியேல் 7

1 மேலும் யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:

Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

2 “மனுபுத்திரனே, ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டைக்குறித்து கூறுவது இதுவே: “‘முடிவு வந்துவிட்டது! நாட்டின் நான்கு திசைகளுக்குமே முடிவு வந்துவிட்டது!

Thou son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the land of Israel: —

3 இப்பொழுது உனக்கு முடிவு வந்துவிட்டது. நான் எனது கோபத்தை உனக்கு விரோதமாய் வரச்செய்வேன். உன் நடத்தைக்குத்தக்கதாக உனக்குத் தீர்ப்பு வழங்கி, நீ செய்த எல்லா அருவருப்பான செயல்களுக்காகவும் பழிவாங்குவேன்.

The end cometh, the end cometh, Upon the four corners of the land! Now cometh the end upon thee! For I will send my anger upon thee, And will judge thee according to thy ways, And will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

4 நான் உன்னைத் தயவாய் பார்க்கவோ; தப்பவிடவோ மாட்டேன். உன் நடத்தைகளுக்கும் உன் நடுவே இருக்கும் அருவருப்புகளுக்கும் தக்கதாக, நிச்சயமாக நான் பழிக்குப்பழி செய்வேன். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை நீ அறிந்துகொள்வாய்.’

And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; But I will recompense thy ways upon thee, And thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; And ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

5 “ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “‘பேராபத்து! கேள்விப்படாத ஒரு பேராபத்து வருகிறது.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: An evil, an unheard-of evil, behold, it cometh!

6 முடிவு வந்துவிட்டது! முடிவு வந்துவிட்டது! அது உனக்கு விரோதமாகவே எழும்பிவிட்டது! அது வந்தேவிட்டது.

The end cometh, the end cometh! It awaketh against thee, behold, it cometh!

7 நாட்டில் குடியிருப்பவனே, அழிவு உன்மீது வந்துவிட்டது! வேளை வந்துவிட்டது! நாள் நெருங்கிவிட்டது! மலைகளின்மேல் மகிழ்ச்சியல்ல. திகிலே நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.

Thy fate cometh upon thee, thou that dwellest in the land! The time is come, The day of tumult is near, When no sound of joy shall be upon the mountains.

8 என் சீற்றத்தை இப்பொழுதே உன்மீது ஊற்றி; எனது கோபத்தை உனக்கெதிராய்த் தீர்க்கப்போகிறேன், உன் நடத்தைக்குத்தக்கதாய் உனக்குத் தீர்ப்பு வழங்கி, நீ செய்த எல்லா அருவருப்பான செயல்களுக்கும் உன்னிடம் பழிவாங்குவேன்.

Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, And accomplish mine anger against thee; And I will judge thee according to thy ways, And recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

9 நான் உனக்குத் தயை செய்யவும் மாட்டேன். உன்னைத் தண்டியாமல் விடவுமாட்டேன். உன் நடத்தைகளுக்கும் உன் நடுவிலுள்ள உன் அருவருப்பான பழக்கவழக்கங்களுக்கும் தக்கதாக நான் பழிவாங்குவேன். அப்பொழுது உன்னை அடிக்கிறவராகிய நானே யெகோவா என்பதை நீ அறிந்துகொள்வாய்.

And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; I will recompense thee according to thy ways, And thine abominations shall come upon thee; And ye shall know that I, Jehovah, smite you.

10 “‘இதோ, அந்த நாள்! அது வந்துவிட்டது! அழிவு கொந்தளித்துக் குமுறுகிறது! அநீதியின் கோல் மொட்டுவிட்டு, அகந்தை மலர்ந்துவிட்டது!

Behold, the day, behold, it cometh! The destiny draweth near; The rod hath blossomed, pride hath flourished.

11 கொடுமையைத் தண்டிக்க வன்முறை கோலாக வளர்ந்துவிட்டது! அவர்களுடைய மக்களிலோ கூட்டத்திலோ ஒருவனாகிலும் மீந்திருக்கமாட்டான். அவர்களுடைய செல்வமும், விலையுயர்ந்த ஒன்றுமே மீந்திருப்பதில்லை.

Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; None of them shall remain, none of their multitude, none of their crowd; Nor shall there be wailing for them.

12 அந்தக் காலம் வந்துவிட்டது! நாளும் நெருங்கிவிட்டது! வாங்குகிறவன் மகிழாமலும், விற்கிறவன் கவலைப்படாமலும் இருக்கட்டும். ஏனெனில், கடுங்கோபம் எல்லோர்மேலும் வந்திருக்கிறது!

The time cometh, the day draweth near! Let not the buyer rejoice, Nor the seller mourn; For wrath is against their whole multitude.

13 அவர்கள் இருவருமே உயிரோடிருக்கும் வரையிலும், விற்றவன் விற்கப்பட்ட நாட்டைத் திரும்பப்பெறமாட்டான். ஏனெனில் யாவரையும் குறித்த தரிசனம் மாற்றப்படமாட்டாது. அவர்களின் பாவத்தினிமித்தம் ஒருவனாகிலும் தன் வாழ்வைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ளவுமாட்டான்.

For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, Though he be yet alive; For the vision against their whole multitude shall not return void, And none that liveth in his iniquity shall strengthen himself

14 “‘அவர்கள் எக்காளம் ஊதி, எல்லாவற்றையும் ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினாலும், போருக்கு யாருமே போகமாட்டார்கள், ஏனெனில் எல்லோர்மேலும் என் கோபம் இருக்கிறது.

“Blow ye the trumpet, and let all be ready!” Yet none goeth to the battle; For mine anger is against their whole multitude.

15 வெளியே வாள் இருக்கிறது. உள்ளே கொள்ளைநோயும், பஞ்சமும் இருக்கின்றன. நாட்டுப்புறத்தில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் வாளினால் சாவார்கள். நகரத்தில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் பஞ்சத்தினாலும் கொள்ளைநோயினாலும் கொல்லப்படுவார்கள்.

The sword is without, and pestilence and famine within; He that is in the field shall die by the sword; And he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

16 தப்பிப் பிழைக்கும் எல்லோரும் தங்கள் பாவங்களின் காரணமாகப் பள்ளத்தாக்கின் புறாக்களைப்போல் புலம்பி, மலைகளிலே தங்குவார்கள்.

And those of them that escape shall be upon the mountains like doves of the valleys, All of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

17 ஒவ்வொரு கையும் பெலனற்றுப்போகும். ஒவ்வொரு முழங்காலும் தண்ணீரைப் போலாகும்.

All hands shall be feeble, And all knees shall flow with water.

18 அனைவரும் துக்கவுடைகளை உடுத்திக்கொண்டு பயத்தினால் நடுங்குவார்கள். அவர்களுடைய தலைகள் சவரம் செய்யப்பட்டு, முகங்கள் வெட்கத்தினால் மூடப்பட்டிருக்கும்.

They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, And horror shall cover them. And upon all their faces shall be shame, And upon all their heads baldness.

19 “‘அவர்கள் தங்கள் வெள்ளியை வீதிகளில் எறிந்துவிடுவார்கள். அவர்களுடைய தங்கம் அவர்களுக்கு அசுத்த பொருளாகும். யெகோவாவினுடைய கோபத்தின் நாளிலே அந்த வெள்ளியும் தங்கமும் அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றமாட்டாது. அவைகளால் அவர்கள் தங்கள் பசியைத் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ளவுமாட்டார்கள். அவை அவர்களின் வயிற்றை நிரப்பவுமாட்டாது. ஏனெனில், அவைகளே அவர்களைப் பாவத்திற்குள் இடறிவிழச் செய்தன.

Their silver shall they cast into the streets, And their gold shall be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them In the day of the wrath of Jehovah; Their hunger shall not be satisfied, Nor their body filled with it; For it was the stumbling-block of their iniquity.

20 தங்களது அழகிய நகைகளைக் குறித்து அவர்கள் பெருமையுடையவர்களாய் இருந்தார்கள். அருவருப்பான விக்கிரகங்களையும், இழிவான உருவச்சிலைகளையும் தங்களுக்குச் செய்வதற்காக, அந்த நகைகளைப் பயன்படுத்தினார்கள்; ஆதலால் அவர்களுக்கு அவைகளை தீட்டான பொருளாக்குவேன்.

For the beauty of their ornaments they turned into pride, And the images of their abominations and of their detestable things they made with it; Therefore will I make it to them as an unclean thing.

21 அந்நியர் அவைகளைச் சூறையாடவும், உலகின் கொடியவர்கள் அவைகளைக் கொள்ளையிடவும் செய்வேன். அவர்கள் அவைகளைக் கறைப்படுத்துவார்கள்.

And I will give it into the hands of strangers for a prey, And to the wicked of the earth for a spoil, And they shall pollute it.

22 அவர்களிடமிருந்து என் முகத்தைத் திருப்பிக்கொள்வேன். அப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய பகைவர்கள் எனக்கு அருமையாயுள்ள இடத்தைத் தூய்மைக்கேடாக்குவார்கள். கொள்ளையர் அங்கு புகுந்து அதன் தூய்மையைக் கெடுப்பார்கள்.

And I will turn my face from them, So that my secret place shall be polluted; Robbers shall enter into it, and pollute it.

23 “‘நீ சங்கிலிகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்திக்கொள். நாடு இரத்தம் சிந்துதலால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; நகரம் வன்செயலாலும் நிறைந்துள்ளது.

Make a chain! For the land is full of blood-guiltiness, And the city is full of violence.

24 இவர்களுடைய வீடுகளை உரிமையாக்கிக்கொள்ளும்படி நாடுகளிலே மிகக் கொடூரமானவர்களை நான் கொண்டுவருவேன். வலியவர்களின் பெருமையையும் ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன். அவர்களுடைய பரிசுத்த இடங்களும் தூய்மைக் கேடாக்கப்படும்.

Therefore will I bring the most cruel among the nations, And they shall possess your houses; I will also make the pride of the strong to cease, And their holy places shall be defiled.

25 பயங்கரம் வரும்போது, அவர்கள் சமாதானத்தைத் தேடுவார்கள். அது கிடைக்காமற்போகும்.

Destruction cometh; And they shall seek peace, and not find it.

26 அழிவுக்குமேல் அழிவு வரும், வதந்திக்குமேல் வதந்தி வரும். இறைவாக்கினரிடமிருந்து தரிசனங்களை பெற முயற்சிப்பார்கள். நீதிச்சட்டத்தைப் பற்றிய ஆசாரியர்களின் போதித்தலும் உபதேசமும் முதியோரின் ஆலோசனைகளும் ஒழிந்துபோகும்.

Calamity shall come upon calamity, And rumor shall be upon rumor; And they shall seek a vision from the prophet in vain; Instruction shall perish from the priests, And counsel from the elders.

27 அரசன் துக்கிப்பான். இளவரசனைத் திகில் மூடிக்கொள்ளும். நாட்டு மக்களின் கைகள் நடுங்கும். நான் அவர்கள் நடத்தைக்கு ஏற்ப அவர்களை நடத்துவேன். அவர்கள் தீர்ப்பளித்த விதத்தின்படியே அவர்களுக்கும் நான் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேன். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்’” என்றார்.

The king shall mourn, And the prince shall be clothed with amazement; And the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them, And they shall know that I am Jehovah.
