எசேக்கியேல் 28
1 யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது, அவர்:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 “மனுபுத்திரனே, தீருவின் ஆளுநனிடம் நீ சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “‘நீ உன் இருதயத்தில், “நான் ஒரு தெய்வம்; கடல்களின் நடுவே ஒரு தெய்வ அரியணையிலே நான் வீற்றிருக்கிறேன்” என பெருமையில் பேசுகிறாய். ஒரு தெய்வத்தைப்போன்ற ஞானியென உன்னை நீ எண்ணிக்கொண்டாலும் நீ மனிதனேயன்றி தெய்வமல்ல;
And thou, son of man, say to the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord; Because thine heart has been exalted, and thou hast said, I am God, I have inhabited the dwelling of God in the heart of the sea; yet thou art man and not God, though thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God:
3 தானியேலைவிட நீ அறிவாளியோ? உனக்கு மறைவான இரகசியம் இல்லையோ?
art thou wiser than Daniel? or have not the wise instructed thee with their knowledge?
4 நீ உன் ஞானத்தினாலும், விளங்கும் ஆற்றலினாலும் உனக்காகச் செல்வத்தைச் சம்பாதித்தாய். தங்கத்தையும் வெள்ளியையும் உன் களஞ்சியங்களில் குவித்தாய்!
Hast thou gained power for thyself by thine [own] knowledge or thine [own] prudence, and [gotten] gold and silver in thy treasures?
5 வர்த்தகத்தில் உனக்குள்ள திறமையினால் உன் செல்வத்தை நீ பெருக்கிக்கொண்டாய்: உன் செல்வத்தால் உன் இருதயமும் மேட்டிமையடைந்தது.
By thy abundant knowledge and thy traffic thou hast multiplied thy power; thy heart has been lifted up by thy power.
6 “‘ஆகையால், ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “‘நீ ஒரு தெய்வத்தைப்போல் ஞானமுள்ளவன் என எண்ணியபடியால்,
Therefore thus saith the Lord; Since thou hast set thine heart as the hart of God;
7 நாடுகளில் இரக்கமே இல்லாத பிறநாட்டினரை நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாகக் கொண்டுவரப் போகிறேன். அவர்கள் உன் அழகுக்கும் அறிவுக்கும் விரோதமாகத் தங்கள் வாள்களை உருவி, துலங்குகின்ற உன் சிறப்பைக் குத்திப்போடுவார்கள்.
because of this, behold, I [will] bring on thee strange plagues from the nations; and they shall draw their swords against thee, and against the beauty of thy knowledge,
8 அவர்கள் உன்னைக் குழியிலே தள்ளுவார்கள். நீ கடல்களின் நடுவே ஒரு அவலமான சாவுக்கு உள்ளாவாய்!
and they shall bring down thy beauty to destruction. And they shall bring thee down; and thou shalt die the death of the slain in the heart of the sea.
9 அப்பொழுது நீ, உன்னைக் கொலைசெய்வோர் முன்னிலையில் “நான் ஒரு தெய்வம்” என்று சொல்வாயோ? உன்னைக் கொலைசெய்வோர் கைகளில் நீ தெய்வமல்ல, மனிதனேதான்.
Wilt thou indeed say, I am God, before them that slay thee? whereas thou art man, and not God.
10 பிறநாட்டாரின் கைகளிலே நீ விருத்தசேதனம் அற்றவனைப்போல சாவாய். “நானே இதைச் சொன்னேன்” என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.’”
Thou shalt perish by the hands of strangers among the multitude of the uncircumcised: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord.
11 பின்னும் யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
12 “மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீருவின் அரசனைக் குறித்துப் புலம்பிச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. “‘நீ ஞானத்தால் நிறைந்து, அழகில் முழுநிறைவுபெற்று, முழுநிறைவின் மாதிரியாய்த் திகழ்ந்தாய்.
Son of man, take up a lamentation for the prince of Tyre, and say to him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou art a seal of resemblance, and crown of beauty.
13 இறைவனின் தோட்டமாகிய ஏதேனில் நீ இருந்தாய். சிவப்பு இரத்தினம், புஷ்பராகம், வைரம், பளிங்கு, கோமேதகம், யஸ்பி, இந்திரநீலம், மரகதம், மாணிக்கம் ஆகிய அத்தனை விலைமதிப்புள்ள கற்களும் உன்னை அலங்கரித்தன. இவை எல்லாம் தங்க வேலைப்பாட்டுடன் அமைந்திருந்தன. நீ உண்டாக்கப்பட்ட நாளிலேயே அவை ஆயத்தம் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தன.
Thou wast in the delight of the paradise of God; thou hast bound upon thee every precious stone, the sardius, and topaz, and emerald, and carbuncle, and sapphire, and jasper, and silver, and gold, and ligure, and agate, and amethyst, and chrysolite, and beryl, and onyx: and thou hast filled thy treasures and thy stores in thee with gold.
14 நீ காவல்செய்யும் கேருபீனாக அபிஷேகம் செய்யப்பட்டாய். ஏனெனில் அப்படியே நான் உன்னை நியமித்தேன். இறைவனின் பரிசுத்த மலையில் நீ இருந்தாய். நெருப்புக்கனல் வீசும் கற்களிடையே நீ நடந்தாய்.
From the day that thou wast created thou [wast] with the cherub: I set thee on the holy mount of God; thou wast in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 நீ உண்டாக்கப்பட்ட நாள் தொடங்கி, கொடுமை உன்னில் காணப்படுமட்டும் உன்னுடைய வழிகளில் நீ குற்றமற்றிருந்தாய்.
Thou wast faultless in thy days, from the day that thou wast created, until iniquity was found in thee.
16 உன்னுடைய வியாபாரத்தின் மிகுதியினால், நீ கொடுமை நிறைந்தவனாகிப் பாவம் செய்தாய். ஆகவே, காவல்காக்கும் கேருபே, இவ்விதமாய் நான் உன்னை நெருப்புக்கனல் வீசும் கற்களினிடையிலிருந்து வெளியேற்றினேன். நான் உன்னை இறைவனின் மலையிலிருந்து அவமானத்தோடு துரத்திவிட்டேன்.
Of the abundance of thy merchandise thou hast filled thy storehouses with iniquity, and hast sinned: therefore thou hast been cast down wounded from the mount of God, and the cherub has brought thee out of the midst of the stones of fire.
17 உன் அழகினிமித்தம் உன் இருதயம் பெருமைகொண்டது, உன் செல்வச் சிறப்பின் காரணத்தால் உன் ஞானத்தை சீர் கெடுத்துக்கொண்டாய். ஆதலால் உன்னைப் பூமியை நோக்கி எறிந்துவிட்டேன். அரசர்கள் முன் உன்னைக் காட்சிப் பொருளாக்கினேன்.
Thy heart has been lifted up because of thy beauty; thy knowledge has been corrupted with thy beauty: because of the multitude of thy sins I have cast thee to the ground, I have caused thee to be put to open shame before kings.
18 உன் அநேக பாவங்களாலும், அநீதியான வர்த்தகத்தினாலும் பரிசுத்த இடங்களின் தூய்மையை நீ கெடுத்தாய். ஆகையால் நான் ஒரு நெருப்பை உன்னிலிருந்து புறப்படச் செய்தேன். அது உன்னைச் சுட்டெரித்தது. மேலும், உன்னைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்த எல்லோருடைய பார்வையிலும் பூமியிலே உன்னைச் சாம்பலாக்கினேன்.
Because of the multitude of thy sins and the iniquities of thy merchandise, I have profaned thy sacred things; and I will bring fire out of the midst of thee, this shall devour thee; and I will make thee [to be] ashes upon thy land before all that see thee.
19 உன்னை அறிந்திருந்த எல்லா நாடுகளும் உன்னைக் கண்டு திகைத்தார்கள். உனக்கு ஒரு பயங்கரமான முடிவு வந்துவிட்டது. நீ இனி ஒருபோதும் இருக்கமாட்டாய்.’”
And all that know thee among the nations shall groan over thee: thou art gone to destruction, and thou shalt not exist any more.
20 யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது.
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
21 “மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ சீதோனுக்கு எதிராக உன் முகத்தைத் திருப்பி, அவளுக்கு விரோதமாய் இறைவாக்கு உரைத்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது:
Son of man, set thy face against Sidon, and prophesy against it,
22 ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “‘சீதோனே, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறேன்; நான் உன் மத்தியில் மகிமைப்படுவேன். நான் அவள்மீது தண்டனையை வரச்செய்து, எனது பரிசுத்தத்தை அவள் மத்தியில் காட்டும்போது, நானே யெகோவா என்பதை மனிதர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
and say, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, O Sidon; and I will be glorified in thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord, when I have wrought judgments in thee, and I will be sanctified in thee.
23 நான் அவள்மீது கொள்ளைநோயை அனுப்பி, அவளுடைய வீதிகளில் இரத்தத்தை ஓடப்பண்ணுவேன். ஒவ்வொரு திசையிலுமிருந்து அவளுக்கெதிராக வரும் வாளினால் கொல்லப்படுவோர், அவள் மத்தியில் விழுவார்கள். அப்பொழுது மனிதர்கள் நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
Blood and death [shall be] in thy streets; and [men] wounded with swords shall fall in thee and on every side of thee; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
24 “‘இஸ்ரயேலருக்கோ வேதனைமிக்க முட்புதர்களும், கூரிய முட்களுமான வஞ்சனையுள்ள அயலவர் இனியொருபோதும் இருக்கமாட்டார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா நானே என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
And there shall no more be in the house of Israel a thorn of bitterness and a pricking briar proceeding from them that are round about them, who dishonoured them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
25 “‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: பல நாடுகளிடையே சிதறடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்ற இஸ்ரயேலை, நான் அவர்களுக்குள்ளேயிருந்து ஒன்றுசேர்க்கும்போது, அந்த நாடுகளின் பார்வையில், இஸ்ரயேலர் மத்தியில் என்னைப் பரிசுத்தராக நான் காண்பிப்பேன். பின்பு அவர்கள் எனது அடியவன் யாக்கோபுக்கு நான் கொடுத்த அவர்களுடைய சொந்த நாட்டிலே குடியிருப்பார்கள்.
Thus saith the Lord God; I will also gather Israel from the nations, among whom they have been scattered, and I will be sanctified among them, and before the peoples and nations: and they shall dwell upon their land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.
26 அங்கே அவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாகக் குடியிருந்து, வீடுகளைக் கட்டி, திராட்சைத் தோட்டங்களை அமைப்பார்கள். அவர்களைத் தூற்றிய அவர்களுடைய அயலவர்கள் அனைவர்மீதும் நான் தண்டனையை வருவிக்கும்போது, இஸ்ரயேலர் பாதுகாப்பாக வாழ்வார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா நானே என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.’” என்றார்.
Yea, they shall dwell upon it safely, and they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and dwell securely, when I shall execute judgment on all that have dishonoured them, [even] on those [that are] round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God, and the God of their fathers.
