எசேக்கியேல் 23

1 யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:

And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying, “Son of man,

2 “மனுபுத்திரனே, இரண்டு பெண்கள் இருந்தார்கள், அவர்கள் ஒரு தாயின் மகள்களாய் இருந்தார்கள்.

Two women were daughters of one mother,

3 அவர்கள் தங்கள் இளவயதிலிருந்தே விபசாரம் செய்து எகிப்தில் விபசாரிகளானார்கள். அந்நாட்டில் அவர்களுடைய மார்பகங்கள் தடவப்பட்டன. அவர்களுடைய கன்னிமையான மார்பகங்கள் தொடப்பட்டது.

And they go whoring in Egypt, They have gone whoring in their youth, There they have bruised their breasts, And there they have dealt with the loves of their virginity.

4 மூத்தவள் பெயர் ஒகோலாள். அவள் தங்கையின் பெயர் ஒகோலிபாள். அவர்கள் என் மனைவிகள், அவர்கள் எனக்கு மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றார்கள். ஒகோலாள் என்பது சமாரியா. ஒகோலிபாள் என்பது எருசலேம்.

And their names [are] Aholah the older, And Aholibah her sister, And they are Mine, and bear sons and daughters. As for their names—Samaria [is] Aholah, And Jerusalem [is] Aholibah.

5 “ஒகோலாள் என்னுடையவளாக இருக்கும்போதே விபசாரம் செய்தாள். அவள் தன் காதலர்களான அசீரிய வீரர்கள்மேல் மோகங்கொண்டாள்.

And Aholah goes whoring under Me, and she lusts on her lovers, on the neighboring Assyrians,

6 நீலப்பட்டு உடை உடுத்தியவர்களும், ஆளுநர்களும், அதிபதிகளுமான அவர்கள் அனைவருமே திடகாத்திரமான வாலிபர்களும் குதிரைவீரர்களுமாயிருந்தார்கள்.

Clothed with blue—governors and prefects, All of them desirable young men, Horsemen, riding on horses,

7 அசீரிய உயர்குடி மக்கள் அனைவரோடும் அவள் விபசாரம் பண்ணினாள். அவள் மோகங்கொண்ட அனைவரது விக்கிரகங்களையும் வழிபட்டு தன்னை கறைப்படுத்தினாள்.

And she gives her whoredoms on them, The choice of the sons of Asshur, All of them—even all on whom she lusted, She has been defiled by all their idols.

8 அவள் எகிப்தில் ஆரம்பித்த தன் விபசாரத்தை விட்டுவிடவில்லை. அங்கே அவளுடைய வாலிப நாட்களில் அவளோடு உறவு கொண்டவர்கள், அவளது கன்னிமையின் மார்பகங்களைத் தடவி தங்களுடைய காமத்தை அவளில் தீர்த்துக் கொண்டார்கள்.

And she has not forsaken her whoredoms out of Egypt, For with her they lay in her youth, And they dealt with the loves of her virginity, And they pour out their whoredoms on her.

9 “ஆகவே, அவள் மோகித்த அவளது காதலர்களான அசீரியரின் கையிலேயே, நான் அவளை ஒப்புவித்தேன்.

Therefore I have given her into the hand of her lovers, Into the hand of sons of Asshur on whom she lusted.

10 அவர்கள் அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கி, அவளுடைய மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும் கைதிகளாக்கி, அவளை வாளினால் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள். அவள் பெண்களுக்குள்ளே அவமதிக்கப்பட்டாள். அவளுக்கு ஏற்ற தண்டனை அவள்மேல் வந்தது.

They have uncovered her nakedness, They have taken her sons and her daughters, And they have slain her by sword, And she is a name for women, And they have done judgments with her.

11 “அவளுடைய தங்கை ஒகோலிபாள் இதைக் கண்டபோதிலும், மோகத்திலும் விபசாரத்திலும் தன் சகோதரியையும் மிஞ்சினவளானாள்.

And her sister Aholibah sees, And she makes her unhealthy love more corrupt than she, And her whoredoms than the whoredoms of her sister.

12 அவளும் ஆளுநர்கள், அதிபதிகள், அலங்கார உடை உடுத்திய வீரர், குதிரைவீரர், திடகாத்திரமான வாலிபர் ஆகிய அசீரியரோடு மோகங்கொண்டாள்.

She has lusted on sons of Asshur, Governors and prefects, Neighboring ones—clothed in perfection, Horsemen, riding on horses, All of them desirable young men.

13 அவளும் தன்னை கறைப்படுத்திக் கொண்டாள் என்பதையும், இருவரும் ஒரே வழியில் சென்றுவிட்டார்கள் என்பதையும் நான் கண்டேன்.

And I see that she has been defiled, One way [is] to them both.

14 “ஆனால் ஒகோலிபாளோ, மென்மேலும் விபசாரம் செய்தாள். சுவரில் வரையப்பட்ட மனித உருவங்களை அவள் கண்டாள். அவை சிவப்பு நிறமாய் வரையப்பட்ட பாபிலோனியரின் உருவங்களாயிருந்தன.

And she adds to her whoredoms, And she sees men carved on the wall, Pictures of Chaldeans, carved with vermillion,

15 அவை தங்கள் அரைகளில் கச்சைகளைக் கட்டி, தலைகளில் வண்ணம் தீட்டப்பட்ட பெரிய தலைப்பாகைகளைத் தரித்தவர்களும், கல்தேயா நாட்டிலுள்ள பாபிலோனிய தேர்ப்படை அதிகாரிகளைப்போன்ற தோற்றம்முள்ளவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

Girded with a girdle on their loins, Dyed attire spread out on their heads, The appearance of rulers—all of them, The likeness of sons of Babylon, Chaldea is the land of their birth.

16 அவள் அந்த உருவங்களைப் பார்த்தவுடனேயே அவர்கள்மேல் மோகங்கொண்டு பாபிலோனிய நாட்டிற்கு அவர்களிடம் தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பினாள்.

And she lusts on them at the sight of her eyes, And sends messengers to them, to Chaldea.

17 அப்பொழுது பாபிலோனியர் அவளிடம், அவளுடைய காதல் படுக்கைக்கு வந்து, தங்களுடைய காமத்தினால் அவளைக் கறைப்படுத்தினார்கள். அவர்களால் அவள் கறைப்பட்ட பின்னர், அவள் வெறுப்பினால் அவர்களிடமிருந்து திரும்பிக்கொண்டாள்.

And sons of Babylon come in to her, To the bed of loves, And they defile her with their whoredoms, And she is defiled with them, And her soul is alienated from them.

18 அவள் தன் விபசாரத்தை வெளிப்படையாகச் செய்து, தனது நிர்வாணத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தியபோது, நான் வெறுப்பினால் அவளுடைய சகோதரியை விட்டுத் திரும்பியதுபோலவே அவளையும் விட்டுத் திரும்பினேன்.

And she reveals her whoredoms, And she reveals her nakedness, And My soul is alienated from off her, As My soul was alienated from off her sister.

19 ஆனாலும், அவள் எகிப்தில் விபசாரம் செய்த, தன் இளமையின் நாட்களை எண்ணி மென்மேலும் விபசாரம் செய்தாள்.

And she multiplies her whoredoms, To remember the days of her youth, When she went whoring in the land of Egypt.

20 அங்கே அவள் தனது காதலர்மேல் மோகங்கொண்டாள். அவர்களின் பாலியல் உறுப்பு கழுதையின் உறுப்புகள்போலவும், விந்து குதிரைகளின் விந்துபோலவும் இருந்தன.

And she lusts on their lovers, Whose flesh [is] the flesh of donkeys, And the emission of horses—their emission.

21 இவ்வாறாக எகிப்தில் உன் மார்பகங்கள் தடவப்பட்டு, உன் இளமையின் மார்புகள் வருடப்பட்ட உனது இளமையின் வேசித்தனத்தின் காலத்தை நாடினாய்.

You look after the wickedness of your youth, In dealing out of Egypt your loves, For the sake of the breasts of your youth.

22 “ஆகையால் ஒகோலிபாளே, ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நீ வெறுப்பினால் விட்டுத் திரும்பிய உன் காதலர்களை நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாய் எழுப்புவேன். எல்லாப் பக்கங்களிலிருந்தும் அவர்களை உனக்கெதிராய்க் கொண்டுவருவேன்.

Therefore, O Aholibah, thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am stirring up your lovers against you, From whom your soul has been alienated, And have brought them in against you from all around.

23 பாபிலோனியரையும், எல்லாக் கல்தேயரையும், பேகோட், ஷோவா, கோவா மனிதரையும், அசீரியர் அனைவரையும், திடகாத்திரமான வாலிபரையும் கொண்டுவருவேன். அவர்கள் அனைவருமே ஆளுநர்களும், அதிகாரிகளும், தேர் வீரர்களும், உயர்பதவியிலுள்ள மனிதர்களும், குதிரைகளில் ஏறிச் செல்லுகிறவர்களுமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

Sons of Babylon, and of all Chaldea, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, All the sons of Asshur with them, Desirable young men, governors and prefects, All of them—rulers and proclaimed ones, All of them riding on horses.

24 அவர்கள் படைக்கலங்களோடும், தேர்களோடும், வண்டிகளோடும், ஏராளமான மக்களோடும் உனக்கு விரோதமாய் வருவார்கள். அவர்கள் பெரிதும் சிறிதுமான கேடயங்களோடும், தலைக்கவசங்களோடும், எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் உனக்கு விரோதமாய் எதிர்த்து நிற்பார்கள். நீ தண்டிக்கப்படுவதற்காக நான் உன்னை அவர்களிடம் ஒப்படைப்பேன். அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய விதிமுறைப்படி உனக்குத் தண்டனை வழங்குவார்கள்.

And they have come in against you, With arms, rider, and wheel, And with an assembly of peoples; Buckler, and shield, and helmet, They set against you all around, And I have set judgment before them, They have judged you in their judgments.

25 நான் என் எரிச்சலின் கோபத்தை உனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் திருப்புவேன். அவர்கள் உன்னை ஆவேசத்துடன் நடத்துவார்கள். உன் மூக்கையும் காதுகளையும் அறுத்துவிடுவார்கள். உன்னில் எஞ்சியிருப்போர் வாளினால் மடிவார்கள். அவர்கள் உன் மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் கைதிகளாகக் கொண்டுபோவார்கள். இன்னும் உன்னில் எஞ்சியிருப்போர் நெருப்பினால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

And I have set My jealousy against you, And they have dealt with you in fury, They turn aside your nose and your ears, And your posterity falls by sword, They take away your sons and your daughters, And your posterity is devoured by fire.

26 அவர்கள் உன் ஆடைகளை கழற்றி, உனது சிறப்பான நகைகளையும் பறித்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.

And they have stripped you of your garments, And have taken your beautiful jewels.

27 இவ்விதமாய் உன் இழிவான செயல்களுக்கும், எகிப்தில் நீ ஆரம்பித்த விபசாரத்திற்கும் நான் முடிவைக் கொண்டுவருவேன். இனிமேல் நீ எகிப்தை நினைக்கவோ, இக்காரியங்களை ஆவலோடு விரும்பவோ மாட்டாய்.

And I have caused your wickedness to cease from you, And your whoredoms out of the land of Egypt, And you do not lift up your eyes to them, And you do not remember Egypt again.

28 “ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நீ பகைக்கிறவர்களின் கையிலும், உன்னுடைய மனம் விட்டுப் பிரிந்தவர்களின் கையிலும் உன்னை நான் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்போகிறேன்.

For thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am giving you into a hand that you have hated, Into a hand from which you were alienated.

29 அவர்கள் உன்னை வெறுப்புடன் நடத்தி, நீ முயற்சித்துத் தேடிய அனைத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்வார்கள். அவர்கள் உன்னை நிர்வாணமும், வெறுமையுமாக்கி விடுவார்கள். உன் வேசித்தனத்தின் வெட்கம் வெளிக்காட்டப்படும். உன் இழிவான நடத்தையும் உன் கட்டுப்பாடற்ற தன்மையுமே இதை உனக்கு வருவித்தன.

And they have dealt with you in hatred, And they have taken all your labor, And they have left you naked and bare, And the nakedness of your whoredoms has been revealed, And the wickedness of your whoredoms.

30 ஏனெனில், நீ பல நாடுகளையும் மோகித்து, அவர்களுடைய சிலைகளினால் உன்னை கறைப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாய்.

To do these things to you, In your going whoring after nations, Because you have been defiled with their idols,

31 நீயும் உன் சகோதரியின் வழியிலேயே போயிருக்கிறாய். ஆதலால், நான் அவளது தண்டனையின் பாத்திரத்தை உனது கையில் வைப்பேன்.

You have walked in the way of your sister, And I have given her cup into your hand.

32 “ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: “நீ உன் சகோதரியின் பாத்திரத்திலே குடிப்பாய், அது அகலமும், ஆழமுமானது. அது அதிகமாய்க் கொள்கிற பாத்திரமானதால் அது ஏளனத்தையும் நகைப்பையும் கொண்டுவரும்.

Thus said Lord YHWH: You drink the cup of your sister, The deep and the wide one (You are for laughter and for scorn), Abundant to contain.

33 நீ கவலை மிகுதியினால் மதுபோதையினால் நிரப்பப்பட்டவனைப் போலாவாய். அது உன் சகோதரியாகிய சமாரியாவிற்கு ஏற்பட்ட அழிவும் பாழும் நிறைந்த பாத்திரம் போலிருக்கும்.

You are filled with drunkenness and sorrow, A cup of astonishment and desolation, The cup of your sister Samaria.

34 நீ அதைக் குடித்து வெறுமையாக்குவாய். அதை நீ துண்டுகளாக்கி உன் மார்பகங்களையே கிழித்துக் கொள்ளுவாய். நானே இதைச் சொன்னேன், என ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

And you have drunk it, and have drained [it], And you gnaw its earthen ware, And you pluck off your own breasts, For I have spoken, A declaration of Lord YHWH,

35 “ஆகையால் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: நீ என்னை மறந்து, என்னைப் புறக்கணித்துவிட்டபடியால் உன் இழிவான செயல்களினாலும், வேசித்தனத்தினாலும் உன் பலனை நீ அனுபவிக்கவேண்டும்.”

Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Because you have forgotten Me, And you cast Me behind your back, Even you also bear your wickedness and your whoredoms.”

36 யெகோவா என்னிடம் சொன்னதாவது, “மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ ஒகோலாளையும், ஒகோலிபாளையும் நியாயந்தீர்பாயோ? அப்படியானால், அவர்களுடைய அருவருக்கத்தக்க செயல்களை அவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டு.

And YHWH says to me, “Son of man, Do you judge Aholah and Aholibah? Then declare their abominations to them.

37 அவர்கள் விபசாரம் செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுடைய கைகளில் இரத்தக்கறை இருக்கிறது. அவர்கள் தங்கள் விக்கிரகங்களுடன் விபசாரம் செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் எனக்குப் பெற்ற பிள்ளைகளைக்கூட அவைகளுக்கு உணவாகப் பலியிட்டார்கள்.

For they have committed adultery, And blood [is] in their hands, They committed adultery with their idols, And also their sons whom they bore to Me, They caused to pass over to them for food.

38 மேலும், அவர்கள் இதையும் எனக்கெதிராகச் செய்தார்கள். அதாவது, அதே வேளையிலேயே எனது பரிசுத்த இடத்தையும் அசுத்தப்படுத்தி, என் ஓய்வுநாளையும் தூய்மையற்றதாக்கினார்கள்.

Again, they have done this to Me, They defiled My sanctuary in that day, And they have defiled My Sabbaths.

39 தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளைத் தங்கள் விக்கிரகங்களுக்குப் பலியிட்ட அதே நாளிலேயே அவர்கள் எனது பரிசுத்த இடத்திற்குள் வந்து அதைத் தூய்மையற்றதாக்கினார்கள். அவர்கள் அதைத்தான் எனது வீட்டில் செய்தார்கள்.

And in their slaughtering their sons to their idols They also come into My sanctuary in that day to defile it, And behold, thus they have done in the midst of My house,

40 “மேலும் அவர்கள் வெகுதூரத்திலிருந்து வந்த மனிதர்களுக்குத் தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பினார்கள். அவர்கள் வந்தபோது, நீ அவர்களுக்காகக் குளித்து, உன் கண்களுக்கு மையிட்டு, நகைகளையும் போட்டுக்கொண்டாய்.

And also that they send to men coming from afar, To whom a messenger is sent, And behold, they have come in for whom you have washed, Painted your eyes, and put on adornment.

41 அழகான இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்தாய். அதற்கு முன்னே ஒரு விருந்துக்கான மேஜையை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, அத்துடன் எனக்குரியதான வாசனைப் பொருள்களையும் எண்ணெயையும் வைத்தாய்.

And you have sat on a couch of honor, And a table arrayed before it, And placed My incense and My oil on it.

42 “கவலையற்ற ஒரு கூட்டத்தின் ஆரவாரம் அவளைச்சுற்றி இருந்தது. அந்த ஒழுங்கீனமான கூட்டத்தோடு பாலைவனத்தின் சபேயர்களும் அழைக்கப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் அப்பெண்ணுக்கும், அவளது சகோதரிக்கும் கைகளில் வளையல்களை அணிவித்து, அவர்களுடைய தலைகளில் அழகிய மகுடங்களைச் சூட்டினார்கள்.

And the voice of a multitude at ease [is] with her, And Sabeans from the wilderness are brought in to men of the common people, And they put bracelets on their hands, And a beautiful crown on their heads.

43 பின்பு நான் விபசாரத்தில் களைத்துப்போன அவளைக்குறித்து, ‘அவள் வேசிதானே! அவர்கள் அவளை அப்படியே பயன்படுத்தட்டும்’ என்றேன்.

And I say of the worn-out one in adulteries, Now they commit her whoredoms—she also!

44 அவர்கள் அவளோடு உறவுகொண்டார்கள். மனிதர்கள் வேசியிடம் நடந்துகொள்வதுபோல, காமவேட்கையுள்ள ஒகோலாள், ஒகோலிபாள் என்னும் பெண்களிடமும் நடந்துகொண்டார்கள்.

And they come in to her, As the coming in to a whorish woman, So they have come in to Aholah, And to Aholibah—the wicked women.

45 ஆனால் விபசாரம் செய்து இரத்தம் சிந்தும் பெண்களைத் தண்டிப்பதுபோல, நீதியுள்ள மனிதர் அவர்களைத் தண்டிப்பார்கள். ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் விபசாரிகள், அவர்கள் கைகளில் இரத்தம் படிந்திருக்கிறது.

As for righteous men, they judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, And the judgment of women shedding blood, For they [are] adulteresses, And blood [is] in their hands.

46 “ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் ஒரு கலகக்கூட்டத்தைக் கொண்டுவாருங்கள். கொள்ளையையும் திகிலையும் அவர்களுக்கு மேலாகக் கொண்டுவாருங்கள்.

For thus said Lord YHWH: Bring up an assembly against them, And give them to trembling and to spoiling.

47 அந்தக் கலகக்கூட்டம் அவர்களைக் கல்லெறிந்து தங்கள் வாள்களால் அவர்களை வெட்டி வீழ்த்தும். அவர்களுடைய மகன்களையும், மகள்களையும் அவர்கள் கொன்று, அவர்களுடைய வீடுகளை எரிப்பார்கள்.

And they have cast the stone of the assembly at them, And cut them with their swords, They slay their sons and their daughters, And they burn their houses with fire.

48 “இவ்விதமாய் நான் நாட்டிலுள்ள காம வேட்கைக்கு ஒரு முடிவைக் கொண்டுவருவேன். அதனால் எல்லாப் பெண்களுமே எச்சரிப்படைந்து உன்னைப் பின்பற்றாதிருப்பார்கள்.

And I have caused wickedness to cease from the land, And all the women have been instructed, And they do not do according to your wickedness.

49 உங்களுடைய காம வேட்கைக்குரிய தண்டனையையும் உங்கள் விக்கிரகவழிபாட்டுப் பாவங்களுக்குரிய பலனையும் நீங்கள் அனுபவிப்பீர்கள். அப்பொழுது ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா நானே என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்றார்.”

And they have put your wickedness on you, And you bear the sins of your idols, And you have known that I [am] Lord YHWH!”
