எசேக்கியேல் 22

1 யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2 “மனுபுத்திரனே, எருசலேமை நியாயந்தீர்ப்பாயோ? இரத்தம் சிந்தும் இந்த நகரத்தை நீ நியாயந்தீர்ப்பாயோ? அப்படியானால் அவளுடைய அருவருக்கத்தக்க செயல்கள் அனைத்தையும் நீ அவளுக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டி,

And thou, son of man, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, declare thou to her all her iniquities.

3 அவளிடம் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே, உன் மத்தியில் இரத்தம் சிந்துவதால் உனக்கே கேடு வரச்செய்து,’ விக்கிரகங்களை உண்டுபண்ணுவதால் உன்னையே கறைப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும் நகரமே,

And thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord God: O city that sheds blood in the midst of her, so that her time should come, and that forms devices against herself, to defile herself;

4 நீ சிந்திய இரத்தத்தினால் குற்றமுள்ளவள் ஆனாய். நீ செய்த விக்கிரகங்களினால் கறைப்பட்டாய். நீ உன் நாட்களை முடிவுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்துவிட்டாய். உன் வருடங்களுக்கும் முடிவு வந்துவிட்டது. ஆகவே, நான் உன்னை நாடுகளின் இழிவுபடுத்தும் பொருளாகவும், எல்லா நாடுகளுக்கும் உன்னைக் கேலிக்கு இடமாக்குவேன்.

in their blood which thou hast shed, thou hast transgressed; and in thy devices which thou hast formed, thou hast polluted thyself; and thou hast brought nigh thy days, and hast brought on the time of thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach to the Gentiles, and a mockery to all the countries,

5 பெயர் கெட்டுப்போன, கலகம் நிறைந்த நகரமே, உனக்கு அருகிலும் தொலைவிலும் உள்ளவர்கள் உன்னை கேலி செய்வார்கள்.

to those near thee, and to those far distant from thee; and they shall mock thee, [thou that art] notoriously unclean, and abundant in iniquities.

6 “‘உன்னிடத்தில் வாழும் இஸ்ரயேல் இளவரசன் ஒவ்வொருவனும், இரத்தம் சிந்துவதற்காகத் தன் வல்லமையை எவ்வாறு பயன்படுத்துகிறான் என்று பார்!’

Behold, the princes of the house of Israel have conspired in thee each one with his kindred, that they might shed blood.

7 உன்னிடத்தில் வாழும் மக்கள் தாய் தந்தையரை அவமதித்தார்கள். அயல்நாட்டினரை ஒடுக்கினார்கள். தந்தையற்றவனையும் விதவையையும் கேவலமாய் நடத்தினார்கள்.

In thee they have reviled father and mother; and in thee they have behaved unjustly toward the stranger: they have oppressed the orphan and widow.

8 எனது பரிசுத்த உடைமைகளை நீ அசட்டை செய்து, என் ஓய்வுநாட்களையும் தூய்மைக்கேடாக்கினாய்.

And they have set at nought my holy things, and in thee they have profaned my sabbaths.

9 இரத்தம் சிந்தும் நோக்குடன் அவதூறு பேசுவோர் உன்னிடத்தில் உண்டு. மலைகளிலுள்ள வழிபாட்டிடங்களில் சாப்பிடுவோரும், இழிவான செயல்களில் ஈடுபடுவோரும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

[There are] robbers in thee, to shed blood in thee; and in thee they have eaten upon the mountains: they have wrought ungodliness in the midst of thee.

10 தங்கள் தந்தையின் மனைவிகளுடன் உடலுறவுகொண்டு, தந்தையரை அவமானப்படுத்துவோரும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள். பெண்களின் மாதவிடாய் நேரத்தில், அவர்கள் சம்பிரதாயப்படி அசுத்தமாய் இருக்கையில், அவர்களைப் பலவந்தப்படுத்துவோரும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

In thee they have uncovered the father's shame; and in thee they have humbled her that was set apart for uncleanness.

11 ஒருவன் தன் அயலானின் மனைவியுடன் வெறுக்கத்தக்க குற்றம் புரிகிறான். இன்னொருவன் வெட்கமின்றித் தன் மருமகளை வெட்கக்கேடாய் கறைப்படுத்துகிறான். இன்னொருவன் தன் சொந்தத் தகப்பனின் மகளாகிய தனது சகோதரியையே பலவந்தம்பண்ணுகிறான். இப்படியானவர்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

They have dealt unlawfully each one with his neighbor's wife; and each one in ungodliness has defiled his daughter-in-law: and in thee they have humbled each one his sister, the daughter of his father.

12 இலஞ்சம் வாங்கி, இரத்தம் சிந்துகிறவர்களும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள். நீ அதிக வட்டி வாங்குகிறாய். அதிக இலாபத்தையும் நாடுகிறாய். உன் அயலானை வற்புறுத்தி அவனிடமிருந்து அநியாய இலாபத்தைப் பெறுகிறாய். என்னையும் மறந்துபோனாய் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

In thee they have received gifts to shed blood; they have received in thee interest and usurious increase; and by oppression thou hast brought thy wickedness to the full, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord.

13 “‘நீ அநீதியாய் இலாபம் சம்பாதித்த பொருட்களுக்காகவும், உன் மத்தியில் இரத்தம் சிந்தியமைக்காகவும் நான் சீற்றத்துடன் என் கரங்களைச் சேர்த்து அடிப்பேன்.

And if I shall smite my hand at [thine iniquities] which thou hast accomplished, which thou hast wrought, and at thy blood that has been shed in the midst of thee,

14 நான் உன்னைத் தண்டிக்கும் நாளிலே உன் தைரியம் நிலைத்திருக்குமோ? அல்லது உன் கைகள் பெலனாய் இருக்குமோ? யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இதைச் சொன்னேன். நானே இதைச் செய்வேன்.

shall thy heart endure? shall thine hands be strong in the days which I bring upon thee? I the Lord have spoken, and will do [it].

15 நான் உன்னை நாடுகளுக்குள் சிதறுண்டு போகப்பண்ணுவேன். நாடுகளுக்குள்ள உன்னைச் சிதறடிப்பேன். உன் தூய்மையற்ற தன்மைக்கு ஒரு முடிவைக் கொண்டுவருவேன்.

And I will scatter thee among the nations, and disperse thee in the countries, and thy uncleanness shall be removed out of thee.

16 பல நாடுகளின் பார்வையிலும் நீ கறைப்பட்டிருக்கும்போது, நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வாய்’” என்றார்.

And I will give heritages in thee in the sight of the nations, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

17 பின்பு யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

18 “மனுபுத்திரனே, இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தார் எனக்கு உலோகக் களிம்பாகிவிட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் சூளையில் எஞ்சிய செம்பும், தகரமும், இரும்பும், ஈயமுமாயிருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களோ வெள்ளியின் களிம்புகளே.

Son of man, behold, the house of Israel are all become to me [as it were] mixed with brass, and iron, and tin, and lead; they are mixed up in the midst of the silver.

19 ஆகையால், ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே, ‘நீங்களெல்லோரும் உலோகக் களிம்பாகிவிட்டதால், நான் உங்களை எருசலேமில் கூட்டிச்சேர்ப்பேன்.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have become one mixture, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.

20 வெள்ளி, செம்பு, இரும்பு, ஈயம், தகரம் அனைத்தையும், ஜூவாலையில் எரியும் நெருப்பினால் உருக்குவதற்கென சூளைக்குள் சேர்ப்பதுபோல, நான் உங்களையும் சேர்ப்பேன். என் கோபத்திலும் கடுங்கோபத்திலும் நான் உங்களை நகரத்தினுள்ளே வைத்து உருக்குவேன்.

As silver, and brass, and iron, and tin, and lead, are gathered into the midst of the furnace, to blow fire into it, that they may be melted: so will I take [you] in my wrath, and I will gather and melt you.

21 நான் உங்களைக் கூட்டிச்சேர்த்து, கோபமாகிய நெருப்பை உங்கள்மேல் ஊதுவேன். நீங்கள் எருசலேமுக்குள் உருக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

And I will blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be melted in the midst thereof.

22 சூளையில் வெள்ளி உருக்கப்படுவதுபோல், நீங்களும் எருசலேமுக்குள் உருக்கப்படுவீர்கள். அப்பொழுது, யெகோவாவாகிய நானே என் கடுங்கோபத்தை உங்கள்மேல் ஊற்றினேன் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்’” என்றார்.

As silver is melted in the midst of a furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the Lord have poured out my wrath upon you.

23 மறுபடியும் யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது.

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

24 “மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ நாட்டுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘நீயோ கடங்கோபத்தின் நாளிலே, தூய்மையாக்கப்படாத, மழை பெய்யாத நாடாக இருப்பாய்.’

Son of man, say to her, Thou art the land that is not rained upon, neither has rain come upon thee in the day of wrath;

25 அங்கே கர்ஜிக்கும் சிங்கமொன்று தன் இரையைக் கிழிப்பதுபோல, பட்டணத்தில் இருக்கும் இளவரசர்களுக்குள்ளேயே சதித்திட்டம் ஒன்றுண்டு. அவர்கள் மக்களை விழுங்குகிறார்கள். செல்வங்களையும் விலை உயர்ந்த பொருட்களையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள். அங்குள்ள அநேகரை விதவைகளாக்குகிறார்கள்.

whose princes in the midst of her are as roaring lions seizing prey, devouring souls by oppression, and taking bribes; and thy widows are multiplied in the midst of thee.

26 அவளது ஆசாரியர்கள் என் சட்டங்களை மீறி, என் பரிசுத்த பொருட்களின் தூய்மையைக் கெடுக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தமானதற்கும் சாதாரணமானதற்கும் இடையில் வித்தியாசம் காண்பதில்லை. சுத்தமானதற்கும், சுத்தமற்றதற்கும் இடையில் வித்தியாசம் இல்லையென போதிக்கிறார்கள். என் ஓய்வுநாட்களை கைக்கொள்வதில் கண்மூடித்தனமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள். இதனால் அவர்கள் மத்தியில் நான் அவமதிக்கப்படுகிறேன்.

Her priests also have set at nought my law, and profaned my holy things: they have not distinguished between the holy and profane, nor have they distinguished between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I was profaned in the midst of them.

27 அங்கிருக்கும் அவளது அதிகாரிகள் தங்கள் இரைகளைக் கிழிக்கும் ஓநாய் போன்றவர்கள். அநீதியான இலாபம் பெறுவதற்காய் இரத்தம் சிந்தி மக்களைக் கொல்கிறார்கள்.

Her princes in the midst of her are as wolves ravening to shed blood, that they may get dishonest gain.

28 அவளது தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் உண்மையற்ற தரிசனங்களாலும், பொய்யான குறிகளாலும் இச்செயல்களுக்கு மேற்பூச்சுப் பூசுகிறார்கள். யெகோவா கூறாதிருக்க, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறியது இது’ என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்.

And her prophets that daub them shall fall, that see vanities, that prophesy falsehoods, saying, Thus saith the Lord, when the Lord has not spoken.

29 நாட்டு மக்களை பயமுறுத்தி பலவந்தம்பண்ணி பறிக்கிறார்கள், கொள்ளையடிக்கிறார்கள். ஏழைகளையும், சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களையும் ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள். அயல்நாட்டினரைத் துன்புறுத்தி அவர்களுக்கு நீதிசெய்ய மறுக்கிறார்கள்.

That sorely oppress the people of the land with injustice, and commit robbery; oppressing the poor and needy, and not dealing justly with the stranger.

30 “நாட்டைப் பாதுகாக்கும் சுவரை கட்டுவதற்கும், நான் நாட்டை அழிக்காதபடி மதில் வெடிப்பில் நாட்டிற்காக நிற்பதற்கும், அவர்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு மனிதனைத் தேடினேன். ஆனால் நான் ஒருவனையும் காணவில்லை.

And I sought from among them a man behaving uprightly, and standing before me perfectly in the time of wrath, so that I should not utterly destroy her: but I found [him] not.

31 ஆகவே, நான் எனது கடுங்கோபத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றி, என் பயங்கர கோபத்தால் அவர்களைச் சுட்டெரித்து அவர்கள் செய்த எல்லாவற்றையும், அவர்களுடைய தலைகளின் மேலே விழப்பண்ணுவேன். என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுகிறார்.”

So I have poured out my wrath upon her in the fury of mine anger, to accomplish [it]. I have recompensed their ways on their own heads, saith the Lord God.
