கொலோசெயர் 1

1 இறைவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி, கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுலும், நமது சகோதரன் தீமோத்தேயுவும்,

PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy a brother,

2 கொலோசே பட்டணத்திலே கிறிஸ்துவில் பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாகவும், உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாகவும் இருக்கிற சகோதர சகோதரிகளுக்கு எழுதுகிறதாவது: நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய இறைவனால் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக.

to the saints at Colosse, and to the faithful brethren in Christ: grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 உங்களுக்காக நாங்கள் மன்றாடும்போது, நமது கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் பிதாவாகிய இறைவனுக்கு எப்பொழுதும் நன்றி செலுத்துகிறோம்.

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying for you,

4 ஏனெனில், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் நீங்கள் வைத்திருக்கும் விசுவாசத்தைக்குறித்தும், பரிசுத்தவான்கள் எல்லோரிலும் உங்களுக்கிருக்கிற அன்பைக்குறித்தும், நாங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டோம்.

having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and the love ye show to all the saints;

5 பரலோகத்தில் உங்களுக்கென வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிற நன்மைகளின் எதிர்பார்ப்பிலிருந்தே, இந்த விசுவாசமும் அன்பும் ஊற்றாகப் பொங்கி வருகின்றன. இந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பைக்குறித்து, உண்மையின் வார்த்தையாகிய நற்செய்தியின் மூலமாய் நீங்கள் முன்னரே கேள்விப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்.

because of the hope laid up for you in the heavens, which ye have heard before in the word of truth, the gospel,

6 அந்த நற்செய்தி உங்களிடத்திலும் வந்திருக்கிறது. நீங்கள் நற்செய்தியைக் கேட்டு, இறைவனுடைய கிருபையை உண்மையாக விளங்கிக்கொண்ட அந்த நாளிலிருந்து, உங்களிடையே அது கனிகொடுத்து வளர்ச்சியடைந்தது. அதுபோலவே, இந்த நற்செய்தி உலகம் முழுவதும் கனிகொடுத்து வளர்ச்சியடைகிறது.

which is come unto you, as it is also unto all the world; and beareth fruit, as also among you, from the day that ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

7 இந்த நற்செய்தியை எங்களுக்கு அன்பான உடன் ஊழியனும், கிறிஸ்துவின் உண்மையுள்ள ஊழிக்காரனுமாயிருக்கிற எப்பாப்பிராத்துவிடமிருந்து நீங்கள் கற்றுக்கொண்டீர்கள்.

even as ye have learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-labourer, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you;

8 பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் நீங்கள் பெற்றிருக்கும் அன்பைக்குறித்தும் அவன் எங்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தினான்.

who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

9 எனவே உங்களைக்குறித்து கேள்விப்பட்ட நாளிலிருந்து, நாங்கள் உங்களுக்காக மன்றாடுவதை நிறுத்தவில்லை. நீங்கள் ஆவியானவர் கொடுக்கும் ஞானத்தையும் விளக்கத்தையும் பெற்று, இறைவனின் திட்டத்தைப் பற்றிய அறிவினாலே நிரப்பப்பட வேண்டுமென்று நாங்கள் இறைவனிடம் கேட்கிறோம்.

For this cause we also from the day we heard it have not ceased praying for you, and beseeching God that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கையை வாழவேண்டும் என்றும், எல்லாவிதத்திலும் அவரைப் பிரியப்படுத்த வேண்டுமென்றும், எல்லா நல்ல வேலைகளிலும் கனிகொடுக்க வேண்டுமென்றும் நாங்கள் இப்படி மன்றாடுகிறோம். இறைவனைப்பற்றிய அறிவில் நீங்கள் வளரவேண்டும் என்றும்,

that ye may walk worthy of the Lord, well pleasing him in all things, in every good work fruitful, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 இறைவனுடைய மகிமையான ஆற்றலிலிருந்து வரும், எல்லா வல்லமையினாலும் நீங்கள் பெலப்பட வேண்டும் என்றும் மன்றாடுகிறோம். அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் மிகுந்த சகிப்புத்தன்மை உடையவர்களும், பொறுமையுடையவர்களுமாய் இருந்து,

strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joy;

12 பிதாவுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் நன்றி செலுத்துவீர்கள். அவரே ஒளியின் அரசில் இறைவனுடைய மக்களுக்குரிய உரிமையில் நீங்களும் பங்கு பெறும்படி உங்களைத் தகுதியுடையவர்களாக்கினார்.

giving thanks to God, even the Father, who hath made us meet for a portion in the inheritance of the saints in light;

13 ஏனெனில், பிதாவானவர் இருளின் அதிகாரத்திலிருந்து நம்மை விடுவித்து, அவருடைய அன்பான மகன் கிறிஸ்துவின் அரசுக்குள் நம்மைக் கொண்டுவந்திருக்கிறார்.

who hath plucked us out from the dominion of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love:

14 கிறிஸ்துவிலேயே நமக்கு மீட்பு உண்டு, அது பாவங்களுக்கான மன்னிப்பு.

in whom we have redemption through his blood, and forgiveness of sins.

15 கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாத இறைவனின் சாயலாய் இருப்பவர் கிறிஸ்துவே. எல்லாப் படைப்புகளுக்கும் மேலான முதற்பேறானவர் இவரே.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the prime author of all creation:

16 இவர் மூலமே எல்லாம் படைக்கப்பட்டன, காணப்படுகிறவைகளோ, காணப்படாதவைகளோ, வானத்திலும் பூமியிலுமுள்ள எல்லாம் இவர் மூலமே படைக்கப்பட்டன. அரியணைகளோ, வல்லமைகளோ, ஆளுகிறவர்களோ, அதிகாரங்களோ எல்லாமே இவராலேயே, இவருக்கென்றே படைக்கப்பட்டன.

for by him were all things created, celestial and terrestrial, visible or invisible, whether thrones, or dominations, or principalities, or powers, all were created by him, and for him:

17 இவரே எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் முந்தினவராக இருக்கிறார். எல்லாம் அவரோடிணைந்து நிலைநிற்கிறது.

and he is before all, and by him all things subsist.

18 இவரே திருச்சபையாகிய உடலுக்குத் தலையாயிருக்கிறார். இவரே அதன் ஆரம்பமும் இறந்தவர்களிடையே இருந்து முதலாவதாய் உயிருடன் எழுந்தவரும் ஆவார். இதனால் எல்லாவற்றிலும் இவருக்கே முதன்மை இருக்கிறது.

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first begotten from the dead, that he might be in all things pre-eminent.

19 இறைவன் தம்முடைய எல்லா முழுநிறைவையும் கிறிஸ்துவில் குடியிருக்கச் செய்ய விரும்பினார்.

For it hath pleased the Father that in him all fulness should dwell;

20 கிறிஸ்து சிலுவையில் சிந்திய இரத்தத்தினாலே, இறைவன் சமாதானத்தை உண்டாக்கவும் அத்துடன் கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாகவே பரலோகத்திலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் தம்மோடு ஒப்புரவாக்கிக்கொள்ள பிரியங்கொண்டார்.

and by him to reconcile all things to himself, making peace by the blood of his cross: by him, I say, whether they be things on earth, or things in the heavens.

21 முன்பு நீங்கள் இறைவனிடமிருந்து அந்நியராகயிருந்தீர்கள். உங்கள் தீமையான நடத்தையின் காரணமாக உங்கள் மனதில் அவருக்குப் பகைவர்களாக இருந்தீர்கள்.

And you who in time past were all aliens, and enemies in mind by wicked works, hath he now reconciled,

22 ஆனால் இப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய மனித உடல் மரணத்திற்கு உட்பட்டதன் மூலமாக இறைவன் உங்களைத் தம்முடன் ஒப்புரவாக்கினார். இறைவனுடைய பார்வையிலே உங்களைக் கறைப்படாதவர்களாகவும், குற்றமற்றவர்களாகவும், பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் தம் முன்னே நிறுத்தும்படிக்கே அவர் இப்படிச் செய்தார்.

by the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and irreprehensible in his presence:

23 நீங்கள் கேட்ட நற்செய்தியினால் உண்டாகும் நம்பிக்கையைவிட்டு விலகாமல், விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியுடையவர்களாய் தொடர்ந்து நிலைத்திருங்கள். அந்த நற்செய்தி வானத்தின் கீழுள்ள எல்லாப் படைப்புகளுக்கும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது. பவுலாகிய நான் இந்த நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கும் ஊழியனாகியிருக்கிறேன்.

if ye abide in faith grounded and firm, and never moved aside from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which hath been preached to the whole creation which is under heaven, of which I Paul am a minister.

24 இப்பொழுது உங்களுக்காக நான் பட்ட துன்பங்களைக்குறித்து மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன். எனவே கிறிஸ்துவின் உடலாகிய திருச்சபைக்கான அவருடைய துன்பங்களில், நானும் பங்கு பெறும்படி, எனது மாம்சத்திலும் வேதனைகளை அனுபவிக்கிறேன்.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh the measure of afflictions for Christ which remains to be endured for his body, which is the church,

25 உங்களுக்கு இறைவனுடைய வார்த்தையை முழுமையாக அறிவிக்கும்படிக்கு, இறைவன் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த பொறுப்பினாலே நான் அவருடைய திருச்சபையின் ஊழியக்காரனானேன்.

of which I am a minister, according to the dispensation of God, which was given me for you to fulfil the ministry of the word of God―

26 அந்த இரகசியம் காலாகாலமாகவும், தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் மறைக்கப்பட்டே இருந்தது. ஆனால் இப்பொழுதோ, அது பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது. (aiōn g165)

the mystery which was hid from ages and from generations, but is now unveiled to his saints; (aiōn g165)

27 இந்த இரகசியத்தை, யூதரல்லாதவர்களின் நடுவிலும் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார் என்பதை தம்முடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தவே இறைவன் தீர்மானித்தார். கிறிஸ்து உங்களுக்குள் குடியிருப்பதென்பதே அந்த இரகசியம். இதுவே கிறிஸ்துவின் மகிமையில் நாமும் பங்குகொள்வோம் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பைக் கொடுக்கும் மகிமையான செல்வம்.

to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 ஒவ்வொருவரையும் கிறிஸ்துவில் முழுமை பெற்றவர்களாக நிறுத்தும்படிக்கு, நாங்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவித்து, எல்லா ஞானத்தோடும் புத்தி சொல்லி போதித்து வருகிறோம்.

whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;

29 இதற்காகவே, நான் எனக்குள் செயல்படுகிற அவருடைய ஆற்றல் நிறைந்த முழு வல்லமையுடனும் போராடிப் பிரயாசப்படுகிறேன்.

for which also I am labouring, conflicting in the energy of his might, which worketh in me powerfully.
