2 தீமோத்தேயு 1

1 கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் இருக்கும் வாழ்வைக் குறித்த வாக்குறுதியின்படி, இறைவனுடைய சித்தத்தினால், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் அப்போஸ்தலனாக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட பவுல்,

PAUL, a legate of Jesus the Messiah by the pleasure of God, according to the promise of life which is in Jesus the Messiah;

2 எனது அன்பான மகன் தீமோத்தேயுவுக்கு எழுதுகிறதாவது: நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய இறைவனாலும், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினாலும் கிருபையும், இரக்கமும், சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக.

to Timothy a beloved son; grace, and mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus the Messiah.

3 இரவும் பகலும் எனது மன்றாட்டில் உன்னை இடைவிடாமல் நினைக்கும் போதெல்லாம், நான் இறைவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறேன். இறைவனுக்கே என் முற்பிதாக்களைப்போல், சுத்த மனசாட்சியுடன் நான் பணிசெய்கிறேன்.

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with a pure conscience, that I continually remember thee in my prayers, by night and by day:

4 நாம் ஒருவரையொருவர் விட்டுப் பிரிந்தவேளையில் உனது கண்ணீர் என் நினைவில் இருக்கிறபடியால், நான் உன்னைக் கண்டு மகிழ்ச்சியடையும்படி வாஞ்சையாய் இருக்கிறேன்.

and I desire to see thee, and I call to mind thy tears; that I may be filled with joy,

5 உனது உண்மையான விசுவாசமும் என் நினைவில் வந்திருக்கிறது. இந்த விசுவாசம் முதலில் உனது பாட்டி லோவிசாளிடத்திலும், உனது தாய் ஐனிக்கேயாளிடத்திலும் இருந்தது. இப்பொழுது அந்த விசுவாசம் உன்னிடத்திலும் இருக்கிறது என நான் நம்புகிறேன்.

by the recollection which I have, by thy genuine faith, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and in thy mother Eunice, and also, I am persuaded, in thee.

6 இந்தக் காரணத்தினாலேயே நான் உன்மேல் எனது கைகளை வைத்தபோது, உனக்குக் கிடைத்த இறைவனின் வரத்தைத் தூண்டி, கொழுந்துவிட்டெரியும்படி, நான் உனக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறேன்.

Wherefore I remind thee, that thou excite the gift of God, that is in thee by the imposition of my hands.

7 ஏனெனில், இறைவன் நமக்குப் பயமும், கோழைத்தனமுமுள்ள ஆவியைக் கொடுக்கவில்லை. இறைவன் வல்லமை, அன்பு, தன்னடக்கம் ஆகியவற்றைக் கொடுக்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரையே கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.

For God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of energy, and of love, and of instruction.

8 எனவே நமது கர்த்தரைப்பற்றி சாட்சி சொல்லவும், அவரது கைதியாகிய என்னைக்குறித்து வெட்கப்படவும் வேண்டாம். நற்செய்திக்காக இறைவனின் வல்லமையினால் துன்பம் அனுபவிப்பதில் என்னுடன் சேர்ந்துகொள்.

Therefore be not thou ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure evils in connection with the Gospel, through the power of God;

9 இறைவனே நம்மை இரட்சித்து நம்மை ஒரு பரிசுத்த வாழ்க்கைக்கு அழைத்திருக்கிறார். இறைவன் இதை நாம் ஏதாவது செய்ததற்காக நமக்குக் கொடுக்கவில்லை. தனது சொந்த நோக்கத்தின் நிமித்தமும், கிருபையின் நிமித்தமுமே, அதைக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். யுகங்கள் உண்டாகும் முன்பே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் இந்தக் கிருபை நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. who hath vivified us, and called us with a holy calling; not according to our works, but according to his good pleasure, and his grace that was given us in Jesus the Messiah from time before the ages, (aiōnios g166)

10 ஆனால் இப்பொழுது நமது இரட்சகர் கிறிஸ்து இயேசு தோன்றியதன்மூலம், அந்த கிருபை வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவர் மரணத்தை அழித்து, நற்செய்தியினால் வாழ்வையும் சாவாமையையும் வெளிச்சத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவந்திருக்கிறார்.

and is now made known by the appearing of our Vivifier, Jesus the Messiah; who hath abolished death, and hath made manifest life and immortality, by the gospel:

11 இந்த நற்செய்திக்காக நான் அறிவிப்பவனாகவும், அப்போஸ்தலனாகவும், ஆசிரியனாகவும் நியமிக்கப்பட்டேன்.

of which I am constituted a herald and a legate, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

12 அதன் நிமித்தமே, நான் இப்படித் துன்பங்களை அனுபவிக்கிறேன். ஆனால் நான் வெட்கப்படவில்லை. ஏனெனில், நான் விசுவாசிக்கிற கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை எனக்கு நன்றாகத் தெரியும். நான் அவரிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்ததை, அவர் மீண்டும் வரும் நாள்வரைக்கும் காத்துக்கொள்ள அவரால் முடியும் என்றும் நான் நிச்சயமாக நம்புகிறேன்.

Therefore I suffer these things: and I am not ashamed; for I know in whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is competent to keep for me my deposit against that day.

13 நீ என்னிடத்திலிருந்து கேட்ட ஆரோக்கியமான போதனைகளை விசுவாசத்துடனும் அன்புடனும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் மாதிரியாகக் வைத்துக்கொள்.

Let the form of sound words, which thou hast heard from me, abide with thee; with faith and love, in Jesus the Messiah.

14 உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்ட நல்ல பொக்கிஷத்தை நமக்குள் குடிகொண்டிருக்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் உதவியுடன் காத்துக்கொள்.

Keep thou the good deposit, by the Holy Spirit who dwelleth in us.

15 ஆசியா பகுதியிலுள்ளவர்கள் எல்லோரும் என்னைவிட்டு விலகிப்போனது உனக்குத் தெரியும். பிகெல்லுவும் எர்மொகெனேயும்கூட விலகிப் போய்விட்டார்கள்.

This thou knowest, that all those in Asia have turned from me; and that among them are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

16 ஒநேசிப்போருவின் குடும்பத்திற்குக் கர்த்தர் இரக்கம் காட்டுவாராக. ஏனெனில் அவன் அடிக்கடி என்னைத் தேற்றினான். நான் விலங்கிடப்பட்டிருப்பதைக் குறித்து அவன் வெட்கப்படவில்லை.

May our Lord bestow mercy on the house of Onesiphorus; for, many times, he refreshed me, and was not ashamed of the chains of my imprisonment.

17 அத்துடன் அவன் ரோம் நகரத்தில் இருந்தபோது, என்னைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கும்வரைக்கும் கஷ்டப்பட்டுத் தேடினான்.

But also, when he came to Rome, he sought for me with diligence, and found me.

18 கிறிஸ்து மீண்டும் வரும் நாளிலே, அவன் கர்த்தரிடத்திலிருந்து இரக்கத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள கர்த்தர் உதவுவாராக! அவன் எபேசுவிலே எனக்கு எவ்வளவாய் உதவி செய்தான் என்பது உனக்கு மிக நன்றாகத் தெரியும்.

May our Lord grant him, that he may find mercy with our Lord, in that day. And how he ministered to me at Ephesus, thou very well knowest.
