2 கொரிந்தியர் 5

1 இப்பொழுது எங்கள் கண்களுக்குத் தெரிகின்றபடி, நாம் வாழும் பூமிக்குரிய கூடாரமாகிய நமது உடல் அழிந்துபோனாலும், நமக்கு இறைவனிடமிருந்து கிடைக்கும் ஒரு கட்டடம் உண்டு. அது மனித கைகளினால் கட்டப்படாத, பரலோகத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு நித்திய வீடு. (aiōnios g166)

For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)

2 அதுவரைக்கும் நாங்கள் எங்கள் பரலோகக் குடியிருப்பை, தவிப்புடன் உடையைப்போல் அணிந்துகொள்ள வாஞ்சையாய் இருக்கிறோம்.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our house which is from heaven:

3 ஏனெனில் நாம் அவ்விதம் உடுத்தியிருக்கும்போது, நாங்கள் நிர்வாணிகளாய் காணப்படமாட்டோம்.

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

4 இந்த உடலாகிய கூடாரத்தில் இருக்கும்வரையில் நாங்கள் அவதியுற்றுத் தவிக்கிறோம். நாங்கள் செத்து உடையற்றவர்களாய் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதல்ல. நாங்கள் பரலோகக் குடியிருப்பை உடையைப்போல் அணிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டுமென்றே விரும்புகிறோம். அப்பொழுது சாகும் தன்மையுள்ள இந்த உடல் வாழ்வினால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்படும்.

For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not because we would be unclothed, but clothed, that mortality might be swallowed up in life.

5 இந்த முக்கிய நோக்கத்திற்காகவே, இறைவன் எங்களை உண்டாக்கியிருக்கிறார். அவரே வரவேண்டியவற்றிற்கு உத்தரவாதமாக, தனது ஆவியானவரை நிலையான வைப்பாக எங்களுக்குத் தந்திருக்கிறார்.

Now he that hath wrought us for this same thing [is] God, who also hath given to us the earnest of the Spirit.

6 ஆகையால் நாங்கள் எப்பொழுதும் மனத்தைரியத்தோடு இருக்கிறோம். எங்கள் உடலாகிய வீட்டில் குடியிருக்கும் காலம்வரை, கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து புறம்பாயிருக்கிறோம் என்பதை நாங்கள் அறிவோம்.

Therefore [we are] always confident, knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

7 ஏனெனில் நாம் காண்பதினால் அல்ல, விசுவாசிப்பதினாலேயே வாழ்கிறோம்.

(For we walk by faith, not by sight: )

8 நாங்கள் மனத்தைரியத்துடனே இருக்கிறோம். ஆனால் இந்த உடலைவிட்டு வெளியேறி, கர்த்தரோடு குடியிருக்கவே அதிகமாய் விரும்புகிறோம்.

We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

9 எனவே நாங்கள் உடலில் குடியிருந்தாலும், அல்லது உடலைவிட்டு வெளியே போனாலும், அவருக்கு பிரியமாய் வாழ்வதையே எங்கள் குறிக்கோளாகும்.

Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted by him.

10 ஏனெனில், நாம் எல்லோருமே கிறிஸ்துவின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின் அரியணைக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கவேண்டும். அப்பொழுது நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் உடலில் குடியிருந்தபோது செய்த நன்மையினாலும் தீமையினாலும், அவற்றிற்கு ஏற்ற பலனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வோம்.

For we must all appear before the judgment-seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to what he hath done, whether good or bad.

11 ஆகவே நாங்கள், கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் என்றால் என்ன என்பதை அறிந்திருக்கிறபடியால், இறைவனிடம் திரும்பும்படி மனிதரை இணங்கவைக்க முயலுகிறோம். நாங்கள் எப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் என்று இறைவன் நன்கு அறிவார். அதுபோலவே, உங்களுடைய மனசாட்சிக்கும் தெரிந்திருக்கும் என்று நான் நம்புகிறேன்.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest to God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

12 நாங்களோ மறுபடியும் எங்களை உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக சிபாரிசு செய்ய முயற்சிக்கவில்லை. ஆனால் எங்களைக் குறித்து நீங்கள் பெருமையடையத்தக்க ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பத்தை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறோம். அப்போது இருதயத்தில் இருப்பதைப் பார்க்கிலும், வெளித்தோற்றத்தில் காணப்படுவதைக் குறித்து பெருமையடைவோருக்கு நீங்களே தகுந்த பதில் கூறமுடியும்.

For we commend not ourselves again to you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to [answer] them who glory in appearance, and not in heart.

13 நாங்கள் பைத்தியக்காரராக இருக்கிறோம் என்றால், இறைவனுக்காகவே நாங்கள் அப்படியிருக்கிறோம். நாங்கள் தெளிந்த மனதையுடையவர்களாக இருக்கிறோம் என்றால், உங்களுக்காகவே நாங்கள் அப்படியிருக்கிறோம்.

For whether we are beside ourselves, [it is] to God: or whether we are sober, [it is] for your cause.

14 கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பு எங்களை வலியுறுத்தி ஏவுகிறது. ஏனெனில், நம் எல்லோருக்காகவும் ஒருவர் இறந்தார்; இதனால் நாம் எல்லோருமே இறந்தோம் என்று நாங்கள் நிச்சயமாகவே நம்புகிறோம்.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15 அவர் எல்லோருக்காகவுமே இறந்தார், இதனால் வாழ்கிறவர்கள் இனிமேல் தங்களுக்கென வாழக்கூடாது. அவர்கள் தங்களுக்காக இறந்து, மீண்டும் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்பட்டவருக்காகவே வாழவேண்டும்.

And [that] he died for all, that they who live should not henceforth live to themselves, but to him who died for them, and rose again.

16 எனவே, இனிமேலும் நாங்கள் உலக நோக்கத்தின்படி ஒருவரையும் மதிப்பீடு செய்வதில்லை. முன்பு கிறிஸ்துவையும் நாங்கள் அப்படியே மதிப்பிட்டோம். ஆனால் இனி ஒருபோதும், நாங்கள் அவரை அவ்வாறு மதிப்பிடுவதில்லை.

Wherefore henceforth we know no man according to the flesh: though indeed we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now henceforth we know [him] no more.

17 ஆகவே, யாராவது கிறிஸ்துவில் இருந்தால், புதிய படைப்பு வந்திருக்கிறது: பழையவைகள் ஒழிந்து போனது, எல்லாம் புதியவைகள் ஆனது.

Therefore, if any man [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 இவையெல்லாம் இறைவனிடமிருந்தே வருகிறது. அவரே கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாய், எங்களைத் தம்முடனே ஒப்புரவாக்கிக் கொண்டார். அவரே, இந்த ஒப்புரவாக்குகின்ற ஊழியத்தையும் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்:

And all things [are] from God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 “இப்பொழுது இறைவன் மனிதருடைய பாவங்களை அவர்களுக்கெதிராகக் கணக்கு வைக்காமல், கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாக உலகத்தைத் தம்முடன் ஒப்புரவாக்கினார்.” இந்த ஒப்புரவாக்கும் செய்தியையே, அவர் எங்களிடத்தில் ஒப்படைத்திருக்கிறார்.

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and hath committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 ஆகவே இறைவன், எங்கள் மூலமாகவே தமது வேண்டுகோளைத் தெரிவிக்கிறதுபோல, நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவின் தூதுவர்களாக இருக்கிறோம். ஆகவே நீங்கள் இறைவனுடன் ஒப்புரவாகுங்கள் என்று கிறிஸ்துவின் சார்பாக நாங்கள் உங்களைக் கெஞ்சிக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம்.

Now then we are embassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 நமக்காக இறைவன் பாவமே இல்லாதவரை பாவமாக்கினார். நாம் அவரில் இறைவனின் நீதியாகும்படிக்கே அவர் இப்படிச் செய்தார்.

For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
