2 கொரிந்தியர் 4
1 ஆகவே நாங்கள் இறைவனுடைய இரக்கத்தினால் இந்த ஊழியத்தைப் பெற்றிருக்கிறபடியால், நாங்கள் மனந்தளர்ந்து போவதில்லை.
Therefore having received this ministry, as we have obtained mercy, we are not disheartened:
2 வெட்கத்துக்குரிய இரகசியமான செயல்களை நாங்கள் கைக்கொள்வதில்லை. நாங்கள் ஏமாற்றுகிறவர்களாய் இருக்கவில்லை. இறைவனுடைய வார்த்தையை நாங்கள் திரித்துக் கூறவதில்லை. மாறாக, சத்தியத்தை வெளிப்படையாய் எடுத்துக்கூறுகிறோம். இப்படி, இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாக ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனின் மனசாட்சிக்கும் எங்களைப்பற்றி நற்சான்று அளிக்கிறோம்.
but have rejected shameful disguises, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth, recommending ourselves to every man's conscience, in the sight of God.
3 எங்களுடைய நற்செய்தி மறைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தால், அது அழிந்து போகிறவர்களுக்கே மறைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
And if our gospel also be veiled, it is to those that perish;
4 இவ்வுலகின் தேவன் அவிசுவாசிகளாகிய அவர்களின் மனங்களைக் குருடாக்கியிருக்கிறான். அதனாலேயே இறைவனின் சாயலாய் விளங்கும் கிறிஸ்துவின் மகிமை பொருந்திய நற்செய்தியின் ஒளியை, அவர்களால் காண முடியாதிருக்கிறது. (aiōn g165)
among whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, doth not shine unto them: (aiōn g165)
5 ஏனெனில் நாங்கள் எங்களைக் குறித்து பிரசங்கிப்பதில்லை. இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைக் கர்த்தர் என்றும், எங்களையோ இயேசுவுக்காக உங்கள் ஊழியர்கள் என்றும் பிரசங்கிக்கிறோம்.
for we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your servants for the sake of Jesus.
6 “இருளின்மேல் வெளிச்சம் பிரகாசிக்கட்டும்” எனக்கூறிய இறைவன், தமது ஒளியை எங்கள் இருதயங்களில் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்திருக்கிறார். கிறிஸ்துவின் முகத்திலே உள்ள இறைவனது மகிமையின் அறிவின் ஒளியை எங்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பதற்கே அவர் இதைச் செய்தார்.
For God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, hath shined into our hearts, to reflect the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 ஆனால் இந்தச் செல்வத்தை மண்பாண்டங்களில் நாங்கள் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம். இதனால், எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலான இந்த வல்லமை எங்களிடமிருந்து அல்ல, இறைவனிடமிருந்தே கிடைக்கின்றது என்பதை எல்லோரும் அறிவார்கள்.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power might be evidently of God, and not of us:
8 ஒவ்வொரு பக்கத்திலும் எங்களுக்கு நெருக்கடியே ஏற்படுகிறது, ஆனாலும் நாங்கள் நசுங்குண்டு போவதில்லை; குழப்பமடைந்திருக்கிறோம், ஆனாலும் மனந்தளர்ந்து போவதில்லை;
being afflicted on every side, but not oppressed; perplexed, but not in despair;
9 துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டோம், ஆனாலும் கைவிடப்படுவதில்லை; அடித்து வீழ்த்தப்பட்டோம், ஆனாலும் அழிந்து போவதில்லை.
persecuted, but not forsaken;
10 எங்கள் உடலில் இயேசுவின் வாழ்வு வெளிப்படுபடி, நாங்கள் எப்பொழுதும் இயேசுவின் மரண வேதனையை எங்கள் உடலில் அனுபவிக்கிறோம்.
cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be manifested in our body.
11 இதனால் உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாங்கள் இயேசுவினிமித்தம் எப்பொழுதும் மரணத்துக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுகிறோம். இதனால் அவருடைய வாழ்வு சாகும் தன்மையுள்ள எங்கள் உடலில் வெளிப்படுகிறது.
For we, who are yet living, are always exposed to death for the sake of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12 இப்படியாகவே, மரணம் எங்களில் செயலாற்றுகிறது. அதனால் வாழ்வு உங்களுக்குக் கிடைத்திருக்கிறது.
So that death is wrought in us, but life in you.
13 “நான் விசுவாசித்தேன்; ஆகையால்தான் நான் பேசினேன்” என்று வேதவசனத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறபடி. அந்த விசுவாசத்தின் ஆவியினாலேயே, நாங்களும் விசுவாசிக்கிறோம். ஆதலால் பேசுகிறோம்.
But having the same Spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, and therefore have I spoken," we also believe, and therefore speak:
14 ஏனெனில், கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவை மரணத்திலிருந்து உயிருடன் எழுப்பிய இறைவன், இயேசுவுடன்கூட எங்களையும் உயிரோடு எழுப்புவார். இவ்விதம் அவர் எங்களையும் உங்களோடுகூட தமது சமுகத்தில் நிறுத்துவார். இதை நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
knowing that He, who raised up the Lord Jesus, will raise up us also by Jesus, and present us with you.
15 இவையெல்லாம் உங்கள் நன்மைக்காகவே உண்டாகியிருக்கிறது. இதனால், மென்மேலும் அதிகதிகமான மக்களிடம் அவரின் கிருபை சென்றடையும்போது, நன்றி செலுத்துதல் நிரம்பிவழியும். அப்போது இறைவனின் மகிமை அதிகதிகமாய்ப் போற்றிப் புகழப்படும்.
For all these things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the gratitude of many redound to the glory of God.
16 ஆதலால் நாங்கள் மனந்தளர்ந்து போவதில்லை. வெளிப்படையாக வலுவிழந்து போனாலும், நாங்கள் உள்ளாக நாளுக்குநாள் புதுப்பிக்கப்படுகிறோம்.
For which cause we are not disheartened: but though our outward man decayeth, yet the inward man is renewed daily.
17 ஏனெனில் கணப்பொழுது எங்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் சிறுசிறு துன்பங்கள், அவற்றிலும் மிகப்பெரிதான நித்திய மகிமையை விளைவிக்கின்றன. (aiōnios g166)
For our short and light affliction is working out for us an infinite and eternal weight of glory, as we aim not at the things which are visible, but invisible: (aiōnios g166)
