2 நாளாகமம் 35

1 யோசியா எருசலேமில் யெகோவாவுக்கென்று பஸ்காவைக் கொண்டாடினான்; முதலாம் மாதம் பதினான்காம் நாளில் பஸ்கா செம்மறியாட்டுக் குட்டி வெட்டப்பட்டது.

And Josiah kept a Passover to Jehovah in Jerusalem. And they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

2 அவன் ஆசாரியர்களை அவர்களுடைய கடமைகளுக்கென நியமித்தான். யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்தின் பணிகளைச் செய்யவும் அவர்களை ஊக்குவித்தான்.

And he set the priests in their offices, and encouraged them to the service of the house of Jehovah.

3 அவன் இஸ்ரயேலர்களுக்கெல்லாம் அறிவுறுத்தல் கொடுப்பவர்களும், யெகோவாவுக்கென பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டவர்களுமான லேவியர்களிடம் சொன்னதாவது: “இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசன் தாவீதின் மகன் சாலொமோன் கட்டிய ஆலயத்தில் பரிசுத்த பெட்டியை வையுங்கள். அது இனி உங்கள் தோள்களில் சுமக்கப்படக்கூடாது. இப்பொழுது உங்கள் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கும், இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுக்கும் பணிசெய்யுங்கள்.

And he said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to Jehovah, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built. There shall no more be a burden upon your shoulders. Now serve Jehovah your God, and his people Israel.

4 இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசன் தாவீதும், அவன் மகன் சாலொமோனும் எழுதி வைத்துள்ள பணிகளுக்கேற்ப உங்கள் கோத்திரங்களிலுள்ள குடும்பங்களின்படியே உங்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.

And prepare yourselves after your fathers' houses by your divisions, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.

5 “மற்ற மக்களான உங்கள் உடன் நாட்டவர்களின் குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த ஒவ்வொரு பிரிவுக்குமென ஒவ்வொரு கூட்டமாக லேவியர்களுடன் பரிசுத்த இடத்தில் நில்லுங்கள்.

And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of your brothers the sons of the people, and the portion of a fathers' house of the Levites.

6 பஸ்காவின் செம்மறியாட்டுக் குட்டிகளை வெட்டி, உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தி, உங்கள் சக இஸ்ரயேலருக்காகப் பஸ்கா செம்மறியாட்டுக் குட்டியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள். இவ்விதமாக மோசே மூலம் யெகோவா கட்டளையிட்டதைச் செய்யுங்கள்” என்றான்.

And kill the Passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to the word of Jehovah by Moses.

7 யோசியா அங்கிருந்த எல்லா மற்ற மக்களுக்காகவும் பஸ்காவைப் பலியிடுவதற்காக முப்பதாயிரம் செம்மறியாடுகளையும், வெள்ளாடுகளையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தான். அதோடுகூட மூவாயிரம் மாடுகளையும் கொடுத்தான். இவையெல்லாவற்றையும் அரசன் தனக்குரியவற்றிலிருந்தே கொடுத்தான்.

And Josiah gave to the sons of the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all of them for the Passover offerings, to all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and also three thousand bullocks; these were of the king's substance.

8 அவனுடைய அதிகாரிகளும்கூட மக்களுக்கும், ஆசாரியருக்கும், லேவியர்களுக்கும் மனமுவந்து காணிக்கைகளைக் கொடுத்தார்கள். இறைவனின் ஆலய நிர்வாகிகளான இல்க்கியா, சகரியா, யெகியேல் ஆகியோரும் ஆசாரியருக்கு இரண்டாயிரத்து அறுநூறு பஸ்கா செம்மறியாட்டுக் குட்டிகளையும், முந்நூறு மாடுகளையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்.

And his rulers gave for a freewill offering to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites. Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, the rulers of the house of God, gave to the priests for the Passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.

9 அத்துடன் லேவியர்களின் தலைவர்களான கொனானியாவும், செமாயாவும், நெதனெயேலும் அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களும், அஷபியாவும், எயேலும், யோசபாத்தும் ஐயாயிரம் பஸ்கா காணிக்கைகளையும், ஐந்நூறு மாடுகளையும் லேவியர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.

Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethanel, his brothers, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave to the Levites for the Passover offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.

10 வழிபாடு ஒழுங்குசெய்யப்பட்டது. அரசன் கட்டளையிட்டபடி ஆசாரியர்கள் லேவியர்களுடன் தங்கள் பிரிவுகளின்படி தங்களுக்குரிய இடத்தில் நின்றார்கள்.

So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites by their divisions, according to the king's commandment.

11 பஸ்கா செம்மறியாட்டுக் குட்டிகள் வெட்டப்பட்டன. ஆசாரியர்கள் அவர்களிடம் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட இரத்தத்தைத் தெளித்தார்கள். அந்த நேரம் லேவியர்கள் மிருகங்களின் தோலை உரித்தார்கள்.

And they killed the Passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood by their hand, and the Levites skinned them.

12 அவர்கள் தகன காணிக்கைகளை வேறாக எடுத்துவைத்தார்கள். மோசேயின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளபடி, அவை குடும்பங்களின் உட்பிரிவைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களுக்கென்று யெகோவாவுக்குக் காணிக்கையாகக் கொடுக்கும்படி வைக்கப்பட்டன. அவர்கள் மாடுகளையும் அவ்வாறே செய்தார்கள்.

And they removed the burnt offerings that they might give them according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of the sons of the people, to offer to Jehovah as it is written in the book of Moses. And so they did with the oxen.

13 அவர்கள் விவரித்துள்ளபடியே பஸ்கா மிருகங்களை நெருப்பின்மேல் வாட்டி, பரிசுத்த காணிக்கைகளை பானைகளிலும், கிடாரங்களிலும், சட்டிகளிலும் அவித்தார்கள். அவற்றை மிக விரைவாக எல்லா மக்களுக்கும் பரிமாறினார்கள்.

And they roasted the Passover with fire according to the ordinance. And the holy offerings they boiled in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and carried them quickly to all the sons of the people.

14 இதன்பின் தங்களுக்கெனவும், ஆசாரியருக்கெனவும் பங்குகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினார்கள். ஏனெனில் ஆரோனின் வழித்தோன்றல்களான ஆசாரியர்கள், தகன காணிக்கைகளையும், கொழுப்புப் பகுதிகளையும் மாலையாகும்வரை பலியிட்டுக் கொண்டேயிருந்தார்கள். எனவே லேவியர்கள் தங்களுக்கும், ஆரோனிய ஆசாரியருக்குமென பங்குகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

And afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the priests, because the priests the sons of Aaron were busy in offering the burnt offerings and the fat until night. Therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.

15 தாவீது விவரித்துள்ளபடியே, ஆசாப்பின் வழித்தோன்றல்களான இசைக் கலைஞர்கள் ஆசாப், ஏமான் அரசர்களின் தரிசனக்காரனான எதுத்தூன் ஆகியோர் அவர்களுக்குரிய இடத்தில் நின்றார்கள். ஒவ்வொரு வாசலிலும் நிற்கும் வாசல் காவலர்கள் அவர்களுடைய இடத்தைவிட்டுப் போக வேண்டியிருக்கவில்லை. ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் உடனிருந்த லேவியர்கள் அவர்களுக்குமாக பங்குகளை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer. And the porters were at every gate. They did not need to depart from their service, for their brothers the Levites prepared for them.

16 அவ்வேளையில் அரசன் யோசியா கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தபடியே, பஸ்கா கொண்டாட்டத்திற்காக யெகோவாவுக்கான முழு வழிபாடும், யெகோவாவின் பலிபீடத்தில் தகன காணிக்கைகள் செலுத்துவதும் ஒழுங்காக செய்துமுடிக்கப்பட்டன.

So all the service of Jehovah was prepared the same day, to keep the Passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of Jehovah, according to the commandment of king Josiah.

17 அங்கு வந்திருந்த இஸ்ரயேலர் பஸ்காவைக் கொண்டாடி, அப்பொழுது புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பப் பண்டிகையையும் ஏழுநாட்களுக்குக் கொண்டாடினார்கள்.

And the sons of Israel who were present kept the Passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.

18 இறைவாக்கினன் சாமுயேலின் நாட்களுக்குபின் இஸ்ரயேலில் இதுபோன்று பஸ்கா கொண்டாடப்படவில்லை. யோசியா செய்ததுபோல இஸ்ரயேல் அரசர்களில் ஒருவனும் பஸ்காவை இவ்வாறு கொண்டாடவில்லை. ஏனெனில் யோசியா எருசலேம் மக்களுடன் இருந்த ஆசாரியருடனும், லேவியர்களுடனும், யூதா மக்கள் எல்லோருடனும், இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுடனும் சேர்ந்து கொண்டாடினான்.

And there was no Passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet. Neither did any of the kings of Israel keep such a Passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

19 இந்த பஸ்கா யோசியாவின் ஆட்சியின் பதினெட்டாம் வருடத்தில் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.

In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah this Passover was kept.

20 இவை எல்லாவற்றிற்கும்பின் யோசியா ஆலயத்தை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தினான். அப்பொழுது எகிப்தின் அரசனான நேகோ யூப்ரட்டீஸ் நதியோரம் இருந்த கர்கேமிஸ் பட்டணத்திற்கு சண்டையிடப் போனான். யோசியா யுத்தத்தில் அவனை எதிர்கொள்ள அணிவகுத்துப் போனான்.

After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Neco king of Egypt went up to fight against Carchemish by the Euphrates, and Josiah went out against him.

21 ஆனால் நேகோ அவனிடம் தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பி, “யூதாவின் அரசனே! எனக்கும் உமக்கும் இடையில் என்ன சச்சரவு உண்டு? இம்முறை நான் தாக்குவது உம்மையல்ல; என்னுடன் யுத்தத்தில் ஈடுபட்டிருக்கும் குடும்பத்தையே தாக்குகிறேன். இறைவன் அதை விரைவாகச் செய்ய என்னிடம் கூறியிருக்கிறார். எனவே என்னோடு இருக்கிற இறைவனை எதிர்ப்பதை நிறுத்தும்; இல்லையெனில் அவர் உம்மை அழித்துப்போடுவார்” என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினான்.

But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house with which I have war, and God has commanded me to make haste. Cease thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he not destroy thee.

22 ஆயினும் யோசியா அவனைவிட்டுத் திரும்பிப் போகவில்லை. யுத்தத்தில் ஈடுபடுவதற்கு அவன் மாறுவேடம் அணிந்தான். அவன் இறைவனின் கட்டளைப்படி நேகோ கூறியவற்றுக்கு செவிகொடுக்காமல் மெகிதோ சமவெளியில் சண்டையிடப் போனான்.

Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself that he might fight with him. And he did not hearken to the words of Neco from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.

23 வில்வீரர் யோசியா அரசனின்மேல் அம்பெய்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவன் தன் அதிகாரிகளிடம், “என்னைக் கொண்டுபோங்கள்; நான் மிக மோசமாகக் காயப்பட்டுள்ளேன்” என்று சொன்னான்.

And the archers shot at king Josiah. And the king said to his servants, Remove me, for I am severely wounded.

24 எனவே அவர்கள் அவனை அவனுடைய தேரிலிருந்து எடுத்து அவனிடமிருந்த மற்ற தேரில் வைத்து, எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுபோக அவன் அங்கே இறந்தான். அவன் அவனுடைய முற்பிதாக்களின் கல்லறைகளில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான். யூதா, எருசலேமில் உள்ள அனைவரும் யோசியாவுக்காகத் துக்கங்கொண்டாடினார்கள்.

So his servants took him out of the chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had, and brought him to Jerusalem. And he died, and was buried in the sepulchers of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.

25 எரேமியா யோசியாவுக்குப் புலம்பல்களை இயற்றினான். எல்லா பாடகர்களும், பாடகிகளும் இப்புலம்பலைப் பாடி யோசியாவை நினைவுகூருகிறார்கள். இவை இஸ்ரயேலில் வழக்கமான நியமமாய் இருந்து, புலம்பல்களின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளன.

And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah. And all the singing men and singing women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day. And they made them an ordinance in Israel, and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.

26 யோசியாவின் ஆட்சியின் மற்ற நிகழ்வுகளும், யெகோவாவின் சட்டத்தில் எழுதியுள்ளபடி அவனுடைய பக்தி செயல்களும்,

Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his good deeds, according to that which is written in the law of Jehovah,

27 தொடக்கமுதல் முடிவு வரையுள்ள எல்லா நிகழ்வுகளும் இஸ்ரயேல், யூதா அரசர்களின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளன.

and his acts, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
