2 நாளாகமம் 33
1 மனாசே அரசனானபோது அவன் பன்னிரண்டு வயதுடையவனாயிருந்தான். அவன் எருசலேமில் ஐம்பத்தைந்து வருடங்கள் அரசாண்டான்.
Twelve years old, was Manasseh when he began to reign, —and, fifty-five years, reigned he in Jerusalem.
2 அவன் இஸ்ரயேலருக்கு முன்பாக யெகோவா துரத்திய நாடுகளின் வெறுக்கத்தக்க நடைமுறைகளைப் பின்பற்றி யெகோவாவின் பார்வையில் தீமையானதைச் செய்தான்.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, -according to the abominable ways of the nations, whom Yahweh dispossessed from before the sons of Israel.
3 தன் தகப்பன் எசேக்கியா அழித்திருந்த உயர்ந்த மேடைகளைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டினான். அத்துடன் அவன் பாகால்களுக்கு மேடைகளைக் கட்டியெழுப்பி, அசேரா விக்கிரக தூண்களையும் செய்தான். அவன் எல்லா நட்சத்திரக் கூட்டத்தையும் விழுந்து வணங்கினான்.
And he again built the high places, which Hezekiah his father had thrown down, —and set up altars to the Baalim, and made Sacred Stems, and bowed in prostration unto all the army of the heavens, and served them;
4 “என் பெயர் எருசலேமில் என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்” என்று யெகோவா சொல்லியிருந்த யெகோவாவினுடைய ஆலயத்தில் அவன் பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டினான்.
and built altars in the house of Yahweh, —as to which Yahweh had said, In Jerusalem, shall be my Name, unto times age-abiding.
5 அத்துடன் அவன் யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்தின் இரண்டு முற்றங்களிலும் எல்லா நட்சத்திரக் கூட்டங்களுக்கும் மேடைகளைக் கட்டினான்.
Yea he built altars unto all the army of the heavens, —in the two courts of the house of Yahweh.
6 அவன் பென் இன்னோம் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் தனது மகன்களை நெருப்பில் பலியிட்டான். அவன் மாந்திரீகம், குறிசொல்லுதல், பில்லிசூனியம் ஆகியவற்றில் ஈடுபட்டான். அத்துடன் அவன் ஆவிகளைக்கொண்டு குறிசொல்பவர்களிடமும், ஆவி உலகத் தொடர்புடையவர்களிடமும் அறிவுரை கேட்டுவந்தான். அவன் யெகோவாவின் பார்வையில் அதிகமான தீமையைச் செய்து அவருக்குக் கோபமூட்டினான்.
And, he, caused his sons to pass through the fire, in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and practised hidden arts and used divination, and practised sorcery, and appointed a necromancer, and a wizard, —he exceeded in doing the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, to provoke him to anger;
7 இறைவன் தாவீதிடமும், அவன் மகன் சாலொமோனிடமும், “இஸ்ரயேலின் எல்லாக் கோத்திரங்களிலுமிருந்து, நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட எருசலேமிலும் இந்த ஆலயத்திலும் என்றென்றைக்குமாக எனது பெயரை வைப்பேன்” எனச் சொல்லியிருந்தார். அந்த ஆலயத்திலேயே அவன் தான் செய்த செதுக்கப்பட்ட உருவச் சிலைகளைக் கொண்டுபோய் வைத்தான்.
and he set a resemblance-image which he had made, —in the house of God, as to which God had said unto David, and unto Solomon his son, In this house and in Jerusalem which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my Name, unto times age-abiding.
8 அத்துடன், “அவர்கள் மோசே மூலம் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட சட்டங்கள், விதிமுறைகள், ஒழுங்குவிதிகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் குறித்து நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்ய அவர்கள் கவனமாயிருப்பார்களானால், நான் உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த நாட்டிலிருந்து இஸ்ரயேலரின் காலடிகளைப் புறப்படப்பண்ண மாட்டேன்” என்றும் சொல்லியிருந்தார்.
So will I not again remove the foot of Israel away from the soil which I appointed for their fathers. Only they must observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law and the statutes and the regulations, by the hand of Moses.
9 ஆனால் மனாசேயோ யூதாவையும், எருசலேமின் மக்களையும் வழிவிலகச் செய்தான். அதனால் இஸ்ரயேலருக்கு முன்பாக யெகோவா அழித்த நாட்டினரைக் காட்டிலும் அதிகமான தீமையை இஸ்ரயேலர் செய்தார்கள்.
And so Manasseh led astray Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, —to commit wickedness beyond the nations which Yahweh had destroyed from before the sons of Israel.
10 யெகோவா மனாசேயுடனும், அவன் மக்களுடனும் பேசினார். அவர்கள் அதற்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவில்லை.
And Yahweh spake unto Manasseh and unto his people, but they did not give ear.
11 எனவே யெகோவா அசீரிய அரசனின் இராணுவ தளபதிகளை அவர்களுக்கு எதிராகக் கொண்டுவந்தார். அவர்கள் மனாசேயை கைதியாக்கி, அவனுடைய மூக்கில் கொக்கியை மாட்டி, வெண்கல சங்கிலியால் அவனைக் கட்டி, பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.
So Yahweh brought in upon them, the captains of the army that belonged to the king of Assyria, and they captured Manasseh with hooks, —and bound him captive with a pair of bronze fetters, and took him away to Babylon.
12 அவன் தனது கடும் துன்பத்தில் தனது இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவிடத்தில் தயவைத் தேடினான். தன் முற்பிதாக்களின் இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாக அவன் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தினான்.
But, in his distress, he appeased the face of Yahweh his God, —and humbled himself greatly, before the God of his fathers;
13 அவன் அவரிடத்தில் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது, யெகோவா அவனுடைய வேண்டுதலினால் மனமிரங்கி, அவனுடைய ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டார். அவர் அவனைத் திரும்பவும் எருசலேமுக்கும் அவனுடைய அரசுக்கும் கொண்டுவந்தார். அதன்பின்பு மனாசே யெகோவாவே இறைவன் என அறிந்தான்.
and, when he prayed unto him, then was he entreated of him, and hearkened unto his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem, unto his own kingdom, and so Manasseh came to know, that, Yahweh, is God.
14 இவற்றிற்குப்பின் அவன் தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் வெளி மதிலைத் திரும்பக் கட்டினான். கீகோனுக்கு மேற்கேயுள்ள பள்ளத்தாக்கின் நீரூற்று தொடங்கி, மீன் வாசலின் நுழைவாசல்வரை ஓபேலின் குன்றைச் சுற்றியே அந்த மதிலைக் கட்டினான். அவன் அதை முன்னிருந்ததைவிட உயரமாகக் கட்டினான். அவன் யூதாவின் எல்லா அரணான பட்டணங்களிலும் இராணுவ தளபதிகளை நிறுத்தினான்.
And, after this, he built an outer wall to the city of David on the west of the Gihon in the ravine, even to the entering in through the fish-gate, and went round to Ophel, and carried it up very high, —and put captains of valour in all the fortified cities, throughout Judah.
15 அவன் அந்நிய தெய்வங்களையெல்லாம் ஒழித்து, யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்தில் இருந்த உருவச்சிலையை அகற்றிப்போட்டான். அதேபோல் ஆலய மலையிலும், எருசலேமிலும் தான் கட்டியிருந்த பலிபீடங்களையும் அகற்றிப்போட்டான். அவன் அவற்றை பட்டணத்திற்கு வெளியே எறிந்துவிட்டான்.
And he removed the gods of the foreigner and the image, out of the house of Yahweh, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of the house of Yahweh, and in Jerusalem, —and he cast them forth outside the city.
16 அதன்பின் யெகோவாவின் பலிபீடத்தைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டி, அதில் சமாதானக் காணிக்கைகளையும், நன்றி செலுத்தும் காணிக்கைகளையும் பலியிட்டான். அத்துடன் இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்குப் பணிசெய்ய வேண்டும் என யூதா மக்களிடம் சொன்னான்.
And he built the altar of Yahweh, and sacrificed thereon peace-offerings, and thanksgiving sacrifices, -and gave word to Judah to serve Yahweh, God of Israel.
17 இருந்தும் மக்கள் தொடர்ந்து பலிபீடங்களின் மேலேயே பலியிட்டு வந்தனர். ஆனாலும் இறைவனாகிய தங்கள் யெகோவாவுக்கு என்றே பலியிட்டார்கள்.
Howbeit, still were, the people, sacrificing in the high places, —only unto Yahweh their God.
18 மனாசேயின் ஆட்சியின் மற்ற நிகழ்வுகளும், அவன் தனது இறைவனிடம் செய்த மன்றாடலும், இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் பெயரில் தரிசனக்காரர் அவனுடன் பேசிய வார்த்தைகளும் இஸ்ரயேல் அரசர்களின் வரலாற்றுப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளன.
But, the rest of the story of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the story of the seers who spake unto him in the name of Yahweh God of Israel, there they are, in the story of the kings of Israel:
19 அவனுடைய மன்றாடலும், அவனுடைய வேண்டுதலினால் இறைவன் எவ்விதம் அவனுக்கு இரங்கினார் என்பதும், அவனுடைய பாவங்களும், நம்பிக்கைத் துரோகமும், அவன் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்துவதற்கு முன்பு உயர்ந்த மேடைகளைக் கட்டி, அசேரா விக்கிரக தூண்களையும், விக்கிரகங்களையும் அமைத்த இடங்களுமான இவையெல்லாம் தரிசனக்காரரின் பதிவேடுகளில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளன.
both his prayer and how [God] was entreated of him—and all his sin and his treacherous act, and the sites whereon he built high places, and set up the Sacred Stems and the images, before he humbled himself, there they are, written in the story of the seers.
20 மனாசே தன் முற்பிதாக்களைப்போல இறந்து அரண்மனையில் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டான். அவன் மகன் ஆமோன் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் அரசனானான்.
And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the garden off his own house, —and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
21 ஆமோன் அரசனானபோது அவன் இருபத்திரண்டு வயதுடையவனாயிருந்தான். அவன் எருசலேமில் இரண்டு வருடங்கள் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்.
Twenty-two years old, was Amon when he began to reign, —and, two years, reigned he in Jerusalem.
22 அவனும் தன் தகப்பன் மனாசே செய்ததுபோல் யெகோவாவின் பார்வையில் தீமையானதையே செய்தான். மனாசே செய்திருந்த எல்லா விக்கிரகங்களையும் ஆமோன் வணங்கி, அவற்றில் பலிகளையும் செலுத்தினான்.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had done, —and, unto all the images which Manasseh his father had made, Amon offered sacrifice, and did serve them.
23 ஆனால் தன் தகப்பன் மனாசேயைப்போல் யெகோவாவுக்குமுன் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தவில்லை. ஆமோன் தன் குற்றத்தை அதிகரித்துக் கொண்டான்.
But he did not humble himself before Yahweh as Manasseh his father humbled himself, —for, he, Amon, made guilt abound.
24 ஆமோனின் அதிகாரிகள் அவனுக்கு எதிராகச் சதிசெய்து, அவனுடைய அரண்மனையில் அவனைக் கொலைசெய்தார்கள்.
And his servants conspired against him, and put him to death, in his own house.
25 அப்பொழுது நாட்டு மக்கள், அரசன் ஆமோனுக்கெதிராக குழப்பம் செய்த எல்லோரையும் கொலைசெய்தார்கள். பின் அவனுடைய இடத்திற்கு அவன் மகன் யோசியாவை அரசனாக்கினார்கள்.
But the people of the land smote all the conspirators against King Amon, —and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
