1 நாளாகமம் 5

1 இஸ்ரயேலின் முதற்பேறான மகன் ரூபன். இவன் தன் தகப்பனின் திருமணப்படுக்கையைக் கறைப்படுத்தினபடியினால், அவனுடைய மூத்த மகனுக்குரிய பிறப்புரிமை இஸ்ரயேலின் மகன் யோசேப்பின் மகன்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. எனவே உரிமையின்படி இவன் வம்ச அட்டவணையில் முதற்பேறானவனாக இடம்பெறவில்லை.

Now the sons of Ruben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was his firstborn: but forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his first birthright was given to the sons of Joseph the son of Israel, and he was not accounted for the firstborn.

2 யூதா தன் சகோதரரில் வலிமையுடையவனாய் இருந்தும், ஆளுநர் ஒருவனும் அவனிலிருந்து தோன்றியும் யோசேப்பிற்கே மூத்த மகனுக்குரிய பிறப்புரிமை கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.

But of the race of Juda, who was the strongest among his brethren, came the princes: but the first birthright was accounted to Joseph.)

3 இஸ்ரயேலின் மூத்த மகனான ரூபனின் மகன்கள்: ஆனோக்கு, பல்லூ, எஸ்ரோன், கர்மீ.

The sons then of Ruben the firstborn of Israel were Enoch, and Phallu, Esron, and Charmi.

4 யோயேலின் சந்ததிகள்: யோயேலின் மகன் செமாயா, இவனது மகன் கோக், இவனது மகன் சிமேயீ;

The sons of Joel: Samaia his son, Gog his son, Semei his son,

5 சீமேயின் மகன் மீகா, இவன் மகன் ராயா, இவன் மகன் பாகால்,

Micha his son, Reia his son, Baal his son,

6 பாகாலின் மகன் பேரா; பேரா ரூபனியரின் தலைவன். இவனை அசீரியாவின் அரசனான தில்காத்பில்நேசர் சிறைப்பிடித்துப் போனான்.

Beera his son, whom Thelgathphalnasar king of the Assyrians carried away captive, and he was prince in the tribe of Ruben.

7 அவர்கள் வம்ச ஒழுங்கின்படி, உறவினர்களின் வம்சங்களாகக் கணக்கிடப்பட்டனர்: அவர்கள் பிரதான தலைவன் ஏயேல், சகரியா,

And his brethren, and all his kindred, when they were numbered by their families, had for princes Jehiel, and Zacharias.

8 யோயேலின் மகனான சேமாவுக்குப் பிறந்த ஆசாஸின் மகன் பேலா. இவர்கள் அரோயேரில் தொடங்கி, நேபோவுக்கும், பாகால் மெயோனில் உள்ள பகுதிகளில் வாழ்ந்தனர்.

And Bala the son of Azaz, the son of Samma, the son of Joel, dwelt in Aroer as far as Nebo, and Beelmeon.

9 இவர்கள் கிழக்கே யூப்ரட்டீஸ் நதிவரைக்கும் பரந்திருந்து, பாலைவனத்துக்கு அருகே உள்ள நிலத்தில் வாழ்ந்துவந்தனர். ஏனெனில் கீலேயாத்தில் அவர்களுடைய வளர்ப்பு மிருகங்கள் மிகவும் பெருகியிருந்தன.

And eastward he had his habitation as far as the entrance of the desert, and the river Euphrates. For they possessed a great number of cattle in the land of Galaad.

10 இவர்கள் சவுலின் ஆட்சிக்காலத்தில் ஆகாரியருடன் போரிட்டு, அவர்களைத் தோற்கடித்தார்கள். பின் இவர்கள் கீலேயாத்தின் முழு கிழக்குப்பகுதி பிரதேசத்திலும் இருந்த ஆகாரியரின் இடங்களில் குடியேறினர்.

And in the days of Saul they fought against the Agarites, and slew them, and dwelt in their tents in their stead, in all the country, that looketh to the east of Galaad.

11 காத் மக்கள் அவர்களுக்கு அடுத்தாற்போல் பாசான் நாட்டில் சல்காவரை வாழ்ந்தனர்.

And the children of Gad dwelt over against them in the land of Basan, as far as Selcha:

12 அவர்களில் பாசானில் யோயேல் முதன்மையாகவும், சாப்பாம் இரண்டாவதாகவும் இருந்தனர். அவர்களுக்குப்பின் யானாய், சாப்பாத் ஆகியோர் தலைவர்களாயிருந்தனர்.

Johel the chief, and Saphan the second: and Janai, and Saphat in Basan.

13 அவர்களுடைய குடும்பங்களின்படி அவர்களின் உறவினர்கள் மிகாயேல், மெசுல்லாம், சேபா, யோராயி, யாக்கான், சீகா, ஏபேர் என மொத்தம் ஏழுபேர் இருந்தனர்.

And their brethren according to the houses of their kindreds, were Michael, and Mosollam, and Sebe, and Jorai, and Jacan, and Zie, and Heber, seven.

14 இவர்கள் அபியேலின் மகன்கள். அபியேல் ஊரியின் மகன்; ஊரி யெரொவாவின் மகன்; யெரொவா கீலேயாத்தின் மகன், கீலேயாத் மிகாயேலின் மகன், மிகாயேல் எசிசாயின் மகன், எசிசாய் யாதோவின் மகன், யாதோ பூஸின் மகன்.

These were the sons of Abihail, the son of Hurl, the son of Jara, the son of Galaad, the son of Michael, the son of Jesisi, the son of Jeddo, the son of But.

15 மேலும் கூனியின் மகனான அப்தியேலின் மகன் அகி அவர்களுடைய குடும்பத்தின் தலைவன்.

And their brethren the sons of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of the house in their families,

16 காத் மக்கள் கீலேயாத்தைச் சேர்ந்த பாசானிலும், அடுத்திருந்த கிராமங்களிலும் சாரோனைச் சேர்ந்த வளமிக்க மேய்ச்சல் நிலங்களின் எல்லைவரைக்கும் வாழ்ந்தனர்.

And they dwelt in Galaad, and in Basan and in the towns thereof, and in all the suburbs of Saron, unto the borders.

17 இந்த வம்ச அட்டவணைகள் எல்லாம் யூதாவின் அரசன் யோதாமின் ஆட்சிக்காலத்திலும், இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசன் யெரொபெயாமின் நாட்களிலும் வரிசைப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.

All these were numbered in the days of Joathan king of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.

18 ரூபனியர், காத்தியர், மனாசேயின் அரைக் கோத்திரத்தினர் ஆகியோரில் போர் செய்யக்கூடியவர்கள் 44,760 பேர் இருந்தார்கள். இவர்கள் கேடயமும் வாளும் ஏந்தியும், வில்கொண்டும் போரிடுவதற்கும் பயிற்றுவிக்கப்பட்ட பலமிக்க மனிதராயிருந்தார்கள்.

The sons of Ruben, and of Gad, and of the half tribe of Manasses, fighting men, bearing shields, and swords, and bending the bow, and trained up to battles, four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore that went out to war.

19 இவர்கள் ஆகாரியரோடும், யெத்தூர், நாபீஸ், நோதாப் நாட்டினரோடும் போரிட்டனர்.

They fought against the Agarites: but the Itureans, and Naphis, and Nodab,

20 இறைவன் தன் மக்களுக்கு இந்த யுத்தங்களில் உதவி செய்தார். அவர் ஆகாரியரையும் அவர்களுடைய எல்லா பகைவர்களையும் இவர்களுடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். ஏனெனில் இந்த யுத்தம் நடக்கும்போது அவர்கள் இறைவனிடம் கதறி அழுதனர். அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை நம்பியிருந்தபடியினால், அவர்களுடைய விண்ணப்பத்திற்கு அவர் பதிலளித்தார்.

Gave them help. And the Agarites were delivered into their hands, and all that were with them, because they called upon God in the battle: and he heard them, because they had put their faith in him.

21 அவர்கள் ஆகாரியரின் வளர்ப்பு மிருகங்களான ஐம்பதாயிரம் ஒட்டகங்களையும், இரண்டுலட்சத்து ஐம்பதாயிரம் செம்மறியாடுகளையும், இரண்டாயிரம் கழுதைகளையும் கைப்பற்றினர். அத்துடன் ஒரு இலட்சம் மக்களையும் சிறைபிடித்தனர்.

And they took all that they possessed, of camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of men a hundred thousand souls.

22 போர் இறைவனால் நடத்தப்பட்டதால், அநேகம்பேர் விழுந்து மடிந்தனர். இவர்கள் நாடுகடத்தப்படும்வரை அங்கேயே வாழ்ந்தனர்.

And many fell down slain: for it was the battle of the Lord. And they dwelt in their stead till the captivity.

23 மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரம் எண்ணிக்கையில் பெருகியிருந்தது. இவர்கள் பாசான் தொடங்கி பாகால் எர்மோன் வரையும், அதாவது சேனீர் எர்மோன் வரையும் குடியிருந்தனர். இவை எர்மோன் மலையென்றும் அழைக்கப்பட்டன.

And the children of the half tribe of Manasses possessed the land, from the borders of Basan unto Baal, Hermon, and Sanir, and mount Hermon, for their number was great.

24 அவர்களுடைய குடும்பங்களின் தலைவர்கள் ஏப்பேர், இஷி, ஏலியேல், அஸ்ரியேல், எரேமியா, ஓதாவியா, யாதியேல் என்பவர்கள். இவர்கள் தைரியமிக்க போர்வீரர்களும், புகழ்ப்பெற்ற மனிதர்களும், குடும்பத் தலைவர்களுமாய் இருந்தனர்.

And these were the heads of the house of their kindred, Epher, and Jesi, and Eliel, and Esriel, and Jeremia, and Odoia, and Jediel, most valiant and powerful men, and famous chiefs in their families.

25 ஆனால் அவர்கள் இறைவன் தங்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழித்துவிட்ட நாட்டு மக்களின் தெய்வங்களைப் பின்பற்றிய வேசித்தனத்தினால், அவர்கள் தங்கள் முற்பிதாக்கள் வழிபட்டுவந்த இறைவனுக்கு உண்மையற்றவர்களாய் நடந்து, துரோகம் செய்தனர்.

But they forsook the God of their fathers, and went astray after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.

26 எனவே இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவன், தில்காத்பில்நேசர் என அழைக்கப்படும் அசீரிய அரசனான பூலின் ஆவியைத் தூண்டிவிட்டார். அவன் ரூபனியர், காத்தியர், மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்தினர் ஆகியோரை நாடுகடத்தினான். அவன் அவர்களை ஆலா, ஆபோர், ஆரா, கோசான் நதிக்கரை ஆகிய இடங்களுக்குக் கொண்டுசென்றான். அவர்கள் இன்னும் அங்கேயே வாழ்கின்றனர்.

And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Phul king of the Assyrians, and the spirit of Thelgathphalnasar king of Assur: and he carried away Ruben, and Gad, and the half tribe of Manasses, and brought them to Lahela, and to Habor, and to Ara, and to the river of Gozan, unto this day.
