1 நாளாகமம் 25

1 மேலும் தாவீது தனது படைத் தளபதிகளுடன் ஒன்றுசேர்ந்து ஆசாப், ஏமான், எதுத்தூன் என்பவர்களின் மகன்களில் சிலரை யாழ், வீணை, கைத்தாளம் ஆகியவற்றை இசைப்பதற்கும், இறைவாக்கு உரைக்கிற பணிக்குமென வேறுபிரித்தான். இந்த பணியைச் செய்த மனிதரின் பெயர் பட்டியல் இதுவே:

Moreover David and the chief. officers of the army separated for the ministry the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Idithun: to prophesy with harps, and with psalteries, and with cymbals according to their number serving in their appointed office.

2 ஆசாப்பின் மகன்களில் சக்கூர், யோசேப்பு, நெதானியா, அசரேலா என்பவர்கள், ஆசாப்பின் மகன்கள் ஆசாப்பின் மேற்பார்வையின்கீழ் இருந்தனர். இவர்கள் அரசனின் மேற்பார்வையின்கீழ் இறைவாக்கு உரைத்தனர்.

Of the sons of Asaph: Zacchur, and Joseph, and Nathania, and Asarela, sons of Asaph: under the hand of Asaph prophesying near the king.

3 எதுத்தூனின் மகன்களில் கெதலியா, செரீ, எஷாயா, சீமேய், அஷாபியா, மத்தத்தியா என்னும் ஆறுபேர் தங்கள் தகப்பன் எதுத்தூனின் மேற்பார்வையின்கீழ் இருந்தனர். இவர்கள் யாழ் மீட்டி நன்றியுடன் யெகோவாவைத் துதித்து இறைவாக்கு உரைத்தனர்.

And of Idithun: the sons of Idithun, Godolias, Serf, Jeseias, and Hasabias, and Mathathias, six, under the hand of their father Idithun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord.

4 ஏமானின் மகன்கள் புக்கியா, மத்தனியா, ஊசியேல், செபுயேல், எரிமோத், அனனியா, அனானி, எலியாத்தா, கிதல்தி, ரொமந்தியேசர், யோஸ்பேக்காஷா, மலோத்தி, ஒத்தீர், மகாசியோத் ஆகியோர்.

Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:

5 இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் அரசனின் தரிசனக்காரனான ஏமானின் மகன்கள். இவர்களை இறைவன் தம்மை மகிமைப்படுத்தும்படி, தமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின் மூலம் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தார். இறைவன் ஏமானுக்கு பதினான்கு மகன்களையும், மூன்று மகள்களையும் கொடுத்தார்.

All these were the sons of Heman the seer of the king in the words of God, to lift up the horn: and God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் யெகோவாவினுடைய ஆலயத்தின் இசைக்காகத் தங்கள் தந்தையின் மேற்பார்வையில் யாழ், வீணை, கைத்தாளம் போன்ற இசைக்கருவிகளை மீட்பதற்காக இறைவனுடைய ஆலயப் பணியில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தார்கள். ஆசாப்பும், எதுத்தூனும், ஏமானும் அரசனின் மேற்பார்வையின்கீழ் இருந்தார்கள்.

All these under their father’s hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.

7 இவர்கள் யாவரும் யெகோவாவின் பாடல்களைப் பாடுவதில் பயிற்றுவிக்கப்பட்டவர்களும், திறமைசாலிகளுமாக இருந்தார்கள். தங்கள் உறவினர்களுடன் அவர்கள் இருநூற்று எண்பத்தெட்டுபேராய் இருந்தனர்.

And the number of them with their brethren, that taught the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred and eighty-eight,

8 அவர்கள் சிறியவர்கள், பெரியவர்கள், ஆசிரியர், மாணவர்கள் என்ற வேறுபாடின்றி ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களுடைய கடமைகளுக்கென சீட்டுப்போட்டார்கள்.

And they cast lots by their courses, the elder equally with the younger, the learned and the unlearned together.

9 முதலாவது சீட்டு ஆசாபின் வம்சமான யோசேப்பிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது. இரண்டாவது சீட்டு கெதலியாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கு விழுந்தது.

And the first lot came forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph. The second to Godolias, to him and his sons, and his brethren twelve.

10 மூன்றாவது சீட்டு சக்கூருக்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The third to Zachur, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

11 நான்காவது சீட்டு இஸ்ரிக்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The fourth to Isari, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

12 ஐந்தாவது சீட்டு நெதானியாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The fifth to Nathania, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

13 ஆறாவது சீட்டு புக்கியாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The sixth to Bocciau, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

14 ஏழாவது சீட்டு எசரேலாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The seventh to Isreela, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

15 எட்டாவது சீட்டு எஷாயாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The eighth to Jesaia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

16 ஒன்பதாவது சீட்டு மத்தனியாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The ninth to Mathanaias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

17 பத்தாவது சீட்டு சீமேயிவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The tenth to Semeias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

18 பதினோராவது சீட்டு அசாரியேலுக்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The eleventh to Azareel, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

19 பன்னிரெண்டாவது சீட்டு அஷாபியாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The twelfth to Hasabia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

20 பதிமூன்றாவது சீட்டு சுபயேலிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The thirteenth to Subael, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

21 பதினான்காவது சீட்டு மத்தத்தியாவிற்கும் அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The fourteenth to Mathathias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

22 பதினைந்தாவது சீட்டு எரிமோத்திற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The fifteenth to Jerimoth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

23 பதினாறாவது சீட்டு அனனியாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The sixteenth to Hananias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

24 பதினேழாவது சீட்டு யோஸ்பேக்காஷாவிற்கும் அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The seventeenth to Jesbacassa, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

25 பதினெட்டாவது சீட்டு அனானிக்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The eighteenth to Hanani, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

26 பத்தொன்பதாவது சீட்டு மலோத்திற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The nineteenth to Mellothi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

27 இருபதாவது சீட்டு எலியாத்தாவிற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The twentieth to Eliatha, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

28 இருபத்தோராவது சீட்டு ஒத்தீருக்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The one and twentieth to Othir, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

29 இருபத்திரெண்டாவது சீட்டு கிதல்திற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The two and twentieth to Geddelthi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

30 இருபத்துமூன்றாவது சீட்டு மகாசியோத்திற்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

31 இருபத்துநான்காவது சீட்டு ரொமந்தியேசருக்கும், அவனுடைய மகன்களும் உறவினர்களுமான பன்னிரண்டு பேருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

The four and twentieth to Romemthiezer, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
