1 இஸ்ரயேலின் மகன்கள்: ரூபன், சிமியோன், லேவி, யூதா, இசக்கார், செபுலோன்,
These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 தாண், யோசேப்பு, பென்யமீன், நப்தலி, காத், ஆசேர் என்பவர்கள்.
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 யூதாவின் மகன்கள்: ஏர், ஓனான், சேலா என்பவர்கள்; இந்த மூவரும் சூவாவின் மகளான கானானிய பெண்ணின் மகன்கள். யூதாவின் மூத்த மகன் ஏர் என்பவன் யெகோவாவின் பார்வையில் கொடுமையானவனாய் இருந்தான். அதனால் யெகோவா அவனைக் கொன்றுபோட்டார்.

The sons of Perez: Hezron, and Hamuel.

The sons of Zerah: Zabdi, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda; five of them in all.
7 கர்மீயின் மகன்: ஆகார், இவன் யெகோவாவுக்கென விலக்கப்பட்ட பொருட்களை எடுத்ததால், இஸ்ரயேலுக்குக் கேட்டை உண்டுபண்ணினான்.
The sons of Carmi: Achan, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.

The sons of Ethan: Azariah.

and Nahshon became the father of Salmon, and Salmon became the father of Boaz,
12 போவாஸ் ஓபேத்தின் தகப்பன், ஓபேத் ஈசாயின் தகப்பன்.
and Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;
13 ஈசாய்க்குப் பிறந்தவர்கள்: மூத்த மகன் எலியாப், இரண்டாவது மகன் அபினதாப், மூன்றாவது மகன் சிமெயா,
and Jesse became the father of his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimeah the third,

Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

17 அபிகாயில் அமாசாயின் தாய்; அமாசாவின் தகப்பன் இஸ்மயேலியனாகிய யெத்தேர் என்பவன்.
Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
18 எஸ்ரோனின் மகன் காலேப் எரீயோத் எனப்பட்ட தன் மனைவியாகிய அசுபாளின்மூலம் பெற்ற மகன்கள்: ஏசேர், ஷோபாப், அர்தோன்.
Caleb the son of Hezron had sons by his wife Azubah, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 அசுபாள் இறந்தபின்பு காலேப் எப்ராத்தைத் திருமணம் செய்தான். அவள் அவனுக்கு ஊர் என்பவனைப் பெற்றாள்.
Azubah died, and Caleb took to himself Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
20 ஊர் ஊரியின் தகப்பன், ஊரி பெசலெயேலின் தகப்பன்.
Hur became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezalel.

Afterward Hezron slept with the daughter of Makir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.

Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and its villages, even sixty cities. All these were the descendants of Makir the father of Gilead.

And after the death of Hezron, Caleb slept with Ephrath. And Hezron's wife Abijah bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
26 யெராமியேலுக்கு அத்தாராள் என்னும் வேறோரு மனைவியும் இருந்தாள்; இவள் ஓனாம் என்பவனின் தாய்.
Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 யெராமியேலின் முதற்பேறானவனான ராமின் மகன்கள்: மாஸ், யாமின், எக்கேர்.
The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 ஓனாமின் மகன்கள்: சம்மாய், யாதா. சம்மாயின் மகன்கள்: நாதாப், அபிசூர்.
The sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
29 அபிசூருடைய மனைவியின் பெயர் அபியாயேல். அவள் அவனுக்கு அக்பான், மோளித் என்பவர்களைப் பெற்றாள்.
The name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban, and Molid.
30 நாதாபின் மகன்கள்: சேலேத், அப்பாயிம். சேலேத் பிள்ளைகள் இல்லாமல் இறந்துபோனான்.
The sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
31 அப்பாயிமின் மகன்: இஷி, அவன் சேசானின் தகப்பன், சேசான் அக்லாயின் தகப்பன்.
The sons of Appaim: Ishi. The sons of Ishi: Sheshan. The sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 சம்மாயின் சகோதரனான யாதாவின் மகன்கள்: யெத்தெர், யோனத்தான். யெத்தெர் பிள்ளைகள் இல்லாமல் இறந்துபோனான்.
The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
33 யோனத்தானின் மகன்கள்: பெலெத், சாசா. இவர்கள் யெராமியேலின் சந்ததிகள்.
The sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.
34 சேசானுக்கு மகன்கள் இல்லை; மகள்கள் மட்டுமே இருந்தார்கள். சேசானுக்கு எகிப்தைச் சேர்ந்த யர்கா என்னும் வேலைக்காரன் ஒருவன் இருந்தான்.
Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35 சேசான் தனது மகளை அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரனாகிய யர்காவுக்குத் திருமணம் செய்துகொடுத்தான். அவர்களுக்கு அத்தாயி என்ற மகன் இருந்தான்.
Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife; and she bore him Attai.
36 அத்தாயி நாத்தானின் தகப்பன்; நாத்தான் சாபாதின் தகப்பன்.
Attai became the father of Nathan, and Nathan became the father of Zabad,
37 சாபாத் எப்லாலின் தகப்பன்; எப்லால் ஓபேத்தின் தகப்பன்.
and Zabad became the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal became the father of Obed,
38 ஓபேத் ஏகூவின் தகப்பன்; ஏகூ அசரியாவின் தகப்பன்.
and Obed became the father of Jehu, and Jehu became the father of Azariah,
39 அசரியா ஏலேஸின் தகப்பன்; ஏலேஸ் எலெயாசாவின் தகப்பன்.
and Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah,
40 எலெயாசா சிஸ்மாயின் தகப்பன். சிஸ்மாய் சல்லூமின் தகப்பன்.
and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,
41 சல்லூம் எக்கமியாவின் தகப்பன்; எக்கமியா எலிஷாமாவின் தகப்பன்.
and Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.
42 யெராமியேலின் சகோதரனான காலேபின் மகன்கள்: சீப்பின் தகப்பனாகிய மேசா என்னும் முதற்பேறானவனும், எப்ரோனின் தகப்பனாகிய மரேஷாவின் மகன்களுமே.
The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah, the father of Hebron.
43 எப்ரோனின் மகன்கள்: கோராகு, தப்புவா, ரெகெம், செமா.
The sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 செமா ரேகேமின் தகப்பன்; ரேகேம் யோர்க்கேயாமின் தகப்பனான ரெக்கேமின் தகப்பன். ரெகெம் சம்மாயின் தகப்பன்.
Shema became the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem became the father of Shammai.
45 சம்மாயின் மகன் மாகோன்; மாகோன் பெத்சூரின் தகப்பன்.
The son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.
46 காலேபின் மறுமனையாட்டி எப்பா என்பவள் ஆரான், மோசா, காசேஸ் என்பவர்களின் தாய். ஆரான் காசேஸின் தகப்பன்.
Ephah, Caleb's secondary wife, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.
47 யாதாயின் மகன்கள்: ரேகேம், யோதாம், கேசான், பெலெத், எப்பா, சாகாப்.
The sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 காலேபின் மறுமனையாட்டி மாக்காள் என்பவள் சேபேர், திர்கானா ஆகியோரின் தாய்.
Maacah, Caleb's secondary wife, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 அதோடு அவள் மத்மன்னாவின் தகப்பன் சாகாபையும், மக்பேனாவினதும் கிபியாவினதும் தகப்பனான சேவாவையும் பெற்றாள். அக்சாள் என்பவள் காலேபின் மகள்.
She bore also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Beth Gader.
52 கீரியாத்யாரீமின் தகப்பனான சோபாலின் சந்ததிகளாவன: ஆரோயேயும், மெனுகோத்தியரின் அரைப்பகுதியினரும்.
Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim had sons: Reaiah, half of the Manahathites.
53 கீரியாத்யாரீமின் குடும்பங்களாவன: இத்திரியர், பூகியர், சுமாத்தியர், மிஸ்ராவியர் ஆகியோரே. இவர்களில் இருந்தே சோராத்தியர், எஸ்தாவோலியர் ஆகிய சந்ததிகள் வந்தனர்.
The families of Kiriath Jearim: The Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
54 சல்மாவின் சந்ததிகள்: பெத்லெகேமியர், நெத்தோபாத்தியர், அதரோத் பெத்யோவாப்பியர், மானாத்தியரின் அரைப்பகுதியினர், சோரியர் ஆகியோரே.
The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
55 அத்துடன் யாபேஸில் குடியிருந்த எழுத்தாளரின் வம்சங்கள்: திராத்தியர், சிமாத்தியர், சுக்காத்தியர். இவர்கள் ஆமாத்திலிருந்து வந்த ரேகாப்பின் தகப்பனின் சந்ததியான கேனியர்.
The families of scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
