1 நாளாகமம் 16

1 அவர்கள் இறைவனுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைக் கொண்டுவந்து, தாவீது அதற்கென அமைத்த கூடாரத்திற்குள் வைத்தார்கள். பின்பு அவர்கள் இறைவனுக்குமுன் தகன காணிக்கைகளையும், சமாதான காணிக்கைகளையும் செலுத்தினார்கள்.

So they brought in the ark of God, and placed it in the midst of the tent, which David had pitched for it, —and they brought near ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, before God.

2 தாவீது தகன காணிக்கைகளையும், சமாதான காணிக்கைகளையும் செலுத்தி முடித்தபின்பு, அவன் மக்களை யெகோவாவினுடைய பெயரில் ஆசீர்வதித்தான்.

And, when David had made an end of offering the ascending-sacrifices, and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people, in the name of Yahweh.

3 பின்பு அவன் ஒவ்வொரு இஸ்ரயேலின் ஆணுக்கும் பெண்ணுக்கும் தனித்தனியே ஒரு அப்பத்தையும், ஒரு பேரீச்சம்பழ அடையையும், ஒரு திராட்சைப்பழ அடையையும் கொடுத்தான்.

And he apportioned, to every one of Israel, both man and woman, —to every one, a loaf of bread, and a sweet drink, and a raisin cake.

4 தாவீது சில லேவியர்களை யெகோவாவின் பெட்டிக்குமுன் பணிசெய்யவும், வேண்டுதல் செய்யவும், நன்றி செலுத்தவும், இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவைத் துதிப்பதற்குமென நியமித்தான்.

And he placed before the ark of Yahweh certain of the Levites, as attendants, —and to celebrate, and to give thanks and render praise, unto Yahweh, God of Israel;

5 அவர்களுக்கு தலைவனாக ஆசாப்பும், இரண்டாவதாக சகரியாவும், அவனுக்கு அடுத்ததாக ஏயேல், செமிராமோத், யெகியேல், மத்தித்தியா, எலியாப், பெனாயா, ஓபேத் ஏதோம், ஏயேல் ஆகியோரும் இருந்தார்கள். இவர்கள் யாழ், வீணை வாசிக்க நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்கள். கைத்தாளம் போடுவதற்காக ஆசாப் நியமிக்கப்பட்டான்.

Asaph the chief, and, second to him, Zechariah, —Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of harps, and with lyres, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud:

6 அத்துடன் இறைவனின் உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டிக்குமுன் ஒழுங்காக எக்காளம் ஊதுவதற்காக ஆசாரியர்களான பெனாயாவும், யாகாசியேலும் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்.

and Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, —with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 அன்றையதினம் தாவீது யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும்படி ஆசாப்பிடமும், அவனுடைய உதவியாளர்களிடமும் முதன்முதலாக கொடுத்த பாடல் இதுவே:

On that day, then, David gave [these songs] in chief, to give thanks unto Yahweh, —through Asaph, and his brethren: —

8 யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி, அவருடைய பெயரை பறைசாற்றுங்கள்; அவர் செய்தவற்றை நாடுகளுக்குள் தெரியப்படுத்துங்கள்.

Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his name, Make known among the peoples, his doings;

9 அவரைப் பாடுங்கள். அவருக்குத் துதி பாடுங்கள்; அவருடைய அதிசயமான செயல்களையெல்லாம் எடுத்துச் சொல்லுங்கள்.

Sing ye to him, Make music unto him, Speak ye of all his wonders.

10 அவருடைய பரிசுத்த பெயரில் பெருமிதம் கொள்ளுங்கள்; யெகோவாவைத் தேடுகிறவர்களின் இருதயம் மகிழ்வதாக.

Boast yourselves in his holy name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.

11 யெகோவாவையும் அவர் வல்லமையையும் நோக்கிப்பாருங்கள்; எப்பொழுதும் அவர் முகத்தையே தேடுங்கள்.

Search out Yahweh, and his power, Seek diligently his face, at all times.

12 அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும், அவருடைய அற்புதங்களையும், அவர் கொடுத்த நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையும் நினைவிற்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Remember his wonders which he hath done, His splendid deeds, and the just decisions of his mouth.

13 அவருடைய ஊழியராம் இஸ்ரயேலின் சந்ததிகளே, அவர் தெரிந்துகொண்ட யாக்கோபின் பிள்ளைகளே,

O ye seed of Israel his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones:

14 அவரே நமது இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா; அவரது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியெங்கும் உள்ளன.

Yahweh himself, is our God, through all the land, are his just decisions.

15 அவர் தமது உடன்படிக்கையை என்றென்றும் நினைவுகூருகிறார்; ஆயிரம் தலைமுறைகளுக்கு அவர் செய்த வாக்குறுதியையும்,

Remember yea to times age-abiding, his covenant, the word he hath commanded, to a thousand generations;

16 ஆபிரகாமோடு அவர் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையையும், ஈசாக்கிற்கு அவர் இட்ட ஆணையையும் நினைவுகூருகிறார்.

Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;

17 அவர் அதை யாக்கோபுக்கு ஒரு விதிமுறையாகவும், இஸ்ரயேலுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாகவும் உறுதிப்படுத்தி சொன்னதாவது:

And confirmed it, unto Jacob, for a statute, unto Israel, as a covenant age-abiding:

18 “உங்களுடைய உரிமைச்சொத்தாக, கானான் நாட்டை நான் உனக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்.”

Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, as your inherited portion:

19 அவர்கள் எண்ணிக்கையில் கொஞ்சமாய், உண்மையிலேயே மிகச் சிலராகவும் வேற்று நாட்டினராகவும் இருந்தபோது,

While, as yet, ye were men who could be counted, a very few, and sojourners therein:

20 அவர்கள் ஒரு நாட்டிலிருந்து இன்னொரு நாட்டிற்கும், ஒரு அரசிலிருந்து இன்னொரு அரசிற்கும் அலைந்து திரிந்தார்கள்.

And they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom, to another people:

21 அவர்களை ஒடுக்குவதற்கு அவர் யாரையும் அனுமதிக்கவில்லை; அவர்களுக்காக அவர் அரசர்களைக் கண்டித்துச் சொன்னதாவது:

He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—kings!

22 “நான் அபிஷேகம் செய்தவர்களைத் தொடவேண்டாம்; என் இறைவாக்கினருக்குத் தீமை செய்யவேண்டாம்.”

Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.

23 பூமியில் உள்ளவர்களே, எல்லோரும் யெகோவாவுக்குத் துதி பாடுங்கள், நாள்தோறும் அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துங்கள்.

Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, Tell the tidings, from day to day, of his salvation:

24 நாடுகளுக்குள்ளே அவரது மகிமையையும், மக்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் அவரது அற்புத செயல்களையும் அறிவியுங்கள்.

Recount, among the nations, his glory, among all the peoples, his wonders.

25 ஏனெனில் யெகோவா மேன்மையானவர், அவரே மிகவும் துதிக்கப்படத்தக்கவர்; எல்லா தெய்வங்களுக்கும் மேலாக பயப்படத்தக்கவர் அவரே.

For great is Yahweh, and worthy to be mightily praised, and to be revered is he above all gods;

26 நாடுகளின் தெய்வங்கள் எல்லாம் விக்கிரகங்களாகவே இருக்கின்றன; ஆனால் யெகோவாவே வானங்களை உண்டாக்கினார்.

For, all the gods of the peoples, are things of nought, but, Yahweh, made, the heavens.

27 மாட்சிமையும் மகத்துவமும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கின்றன; வல்லமையும் மகிழ்ச்சியும் அவரது உறைவிடத்தில் இருக்கின்றன.

Praise and majesty, are before him, Strength and joy, are in his dwelling-place.

28 நாடுகளின் குடும்பங்களே, யெகோவாவுக்கு மகிமையையும் வல்லமையையும் செலுத்துங்கள்; யெகோவாவுக்கே அதைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.

Give to Yahweh, ye families of the peoples, Give to Yahweh, glory and strength:

29 யெகோவாவின் பெயருக்குரிய மகிமையை அவருக்குச் செலுத்துங்கள்; காணிக்கையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு அவர்முன் வாருங்கள். அவருடைய பரிசுத்தத்தின் மகிமையிலே யெகோவாவை வழிபடுங்கள்.

Give to Yahweh, the glory of his name, —Bring ye a present, and enter before him, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness:

30 பூமியில் உள்ள யாவரும் அவருக்குமுன் நடுங்குங்கள்; உலகம் உறுதியாய் நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது; அது அசையாது.

Tremble at his presence, all the earth, But the world, shall be established, it shall not be shaken.

31 வானங்கள் மகிழட்டும், பூமி களிகூரட்டும்; அவைகள், “யெகோவா ஆளுகை செய்கிறார்!” என்று நாடுகளுக்குள்ளே சொல்லட்டும்.

Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult, Let them say among the nations, Yahweh, hath become king!

32 கடலும் அதிலுள்ள அனைத்தும் சத்தமிடட்டும்; வயல்வெளிகளும் அவைகளிலுள்ள அனைத்தும் பூரிப்படையட்டும்!

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof, Let the field leap for joy, and all that is therein:

33 காட்டு மரங்கள் அனைத்தும் மகிழ்ச்சியாய்ப் பாடட்டும், அவை யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக மகிழ்ந்து பாடட்டும், ஏனெனில் யெகோவா பூமியை நியாயந்தீர்க்க வருகிறார்.

Then, shall shout in triumph, the trees of the forest, before Yahweh, for he is coming, to judge the earth.

34 யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர். அவருடைய அன்பு என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.

Give ye thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.

35 “இறைவனே, எங்கள் இரட்சகரே, எங்களைக் காப்பாற்றும்; பிற நாடுகளிடமிருந்து எங்களை விடுவித்து சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளும். அப்பொழுது நாங்கள் உமது பரிசுத்த பெயருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி, உம்மைத் துதிப்பதில் மேன்மைபாராட்டுவோம்” என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.

And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and deliver us, from among the nations, —that we may give thanks unto thy holy name, that we may triumph aloud in thy praise.

36 இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு நித்தியத்திலிருந்து நித்தியம் வரைக்கும் துதி உண்டாகட்டும். அப்பொழுது எல்லா மக்களும், “ஆமென், யெகோவாவுக்கு துதி உண்டாவதாக” என்று சொன்னார்கள்.

Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from one age even to another age. Then said all the people, Amen, And gave praise to Yahweh.

37 பின்பு தாவீது ஆசாப்பையும், அவனுடைய உதவியாளர்களையும் யெகோவாவின் உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியின் முன்னே, அன்றாட தேவைகளுக்கேற்றபடி ஒழுங்காகப் பணிசெய்யும்படி விட்டான்.

So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brethren, —to be in attendance before the ark continually, for the duty of a day on its day;

38 அவர்களோடு சேர்த்து ஓபேத் ஏதோமையும், அவனுடைய உதவியாளர்கள் அறுபத்தெட்டுபேரையும் பணிசெய்யும்படி விட்டான். எதுத்தூனின் மகன் ஓபேத் ஏதோமும் அவனோடு ஓசாவும் வாசல் காவலர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

and Obed-edom with his brethren, sixty-eight, —and Obed-edom son of Jedithun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

39 தாவீது ஆசாரியன் சாதோக்கையும் அவனுடைய உதவி ஆசாரியர்களையும், கிபியோனிலுள்ள உயர்ந்த மேட்டிலே யெகோவாவின் வழிபாட்டுக் கூடாரத்திற்கு முன்பாக விட்டான்.

and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the habitation of Yahweh, —in the high place that was in Gibeon:

40 இஸ்ரயேலுக்கு யெகோவா எழுதிக்கொடுத்த சட்டத்தின்படியெல்லாம், காலையிலும் மாலையிலும் ஒழுங்காக பலிபீடங்களில் யெகோவாவுக்கு தகன காணிக்கைகளைச் செலுத்தும்படி இவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் விட்டான்.

to offer ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, upon the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —continually, morning and evening, —even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded concerning Israel;

41 அவர்களோடு ஏமானும், எதுத்தூனும், பெயரின்படி தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டு நியமிக்கப்பட்ட மற்றவர்களும், “அவரது அன்பு என்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது” என்று யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும்படி இருந்தார்கள்.

and, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of the chosen ones, who were distinguished by name, —to give thanks unto Yahweh, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness!

42 இறைவனைப் பாடும் பரிசுத்த பாடல்களுக்காக எக்காளங்களையும் கைத்தாளங்களையும் ஒலிக்கவும், மற்ற வாத்தியங்களை மீட்டவும் ஏமானும் எதுத்தூனும் பொறுப்பாக இருந்தார்கள். எதுத்தூனின் மகன்கள் வாசலில் நிறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தார்கள்.

And, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, [with] the trumpets, and the cymbals, for sounding aloud, and the instruments for the songs of God, —and the sons of Jeduthun, for the gate.

43 பின்பு ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்கள் வீடுகளுக்குப் போனார்கள், தாவீது தன் குடும்பத்தை ஆசீர்வதிப்பதற்காக தன் வீட்டிற்குப் போனான்.

And all the people departed, every man to his house, —and David went round, to bless his own household.
