Roman 10

1 Ngokv ajin vdwv, vdwgo ngoogv haapok mvnwng lokv ngo mvngdu ngoogv nyi vdwa turnama paamudubv! Vdwgo ngo bunu lvgabv Pwknvyarnvnyi ngo kumdunv.

My Brethren, The desire of my heart, and my intercession with God for them, is, that they might have life.

2 Ngo minchar jila dunv bunu Pwknvyarnv gvlo tulwk silare; vbvritola bunugv tulwk sinamv jvjvlo chinchipachi dula remadakma dunv.

For I bear them witness, that there is in them a zeal for God; but it is not according to knowledge.

3 Bunu vdwv Pwknvyarnv ninyi gvlo nyi am tarwkbak gvnvnv lamtv nga kaatam dunv vla chimadu, okv vbvmayabv, bunu atubogv mvngdungridung lamtv lo risudosu dubv gwnglwk dvdv duku; okv vkvlvgabv bunu Pwknvyarnv gv nyi vdwa tarwkbak bv ridubv lamtv kaatam namlo bunu awv tulwksima duku.

For they know not the righteousness of God, but seek to establish their own righteousness: and therefore they have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.

4 Holvgabv kristo Pvbv nga laangam nyami toku, vkvlvgavbolo mvngjwng la doobu vdwv Pwknvyarnv gvlo tarwkbak bv doonamdaknam am paareku.

For Messiah is the aim of the law, for righteousness, unto every one that believeth in him.

5 Pwknvyarnv gvlo tarwkbak bv doonamdaknam lvkwng bv Pvbv lokv paadunv vla Moses vbv lvklwkto: “Yvvdw Pvbv gv gamki jinam am tvvdudw vv singnama paare.”

For Moses describeth the righteousness, which is by the law, thus: Whoever shall do these things, shall live by them.

6 Vbvritola Darwknv kitap vv mvngjwng lokv Pwknvyarnv gvlo tarwkbak bv doonvdaknv lvkwng bv si mindu: “No awv tvvka suma bvka, yvvkudw Nyidomooku bv chaare kudw?” (Oogv so, kristonyi lvkwng loka laalu dukubv).

But the righteousness which is by faith, saith thus: Thou shalt not say in thy heart, Who ascendeth to heaven, and bringeth Messiah down?

7 “Vmabvya sum nonu tvvka mabvka, sichingmooku arwnglo iji kunv yvvkudw?” (Oogv so, kristonyi sinam lokv laacha dukubv). (Abyssos g12)

Or, Who descendeth to the abyss of the grave, and bringeth up Messiah from the place of the dead? (Abyssos g12)

8 Soka vbv minto. “Pwknvyarnv gv doin nonugv nvchilo doodu, nonugv nabchunabar lo okv nonugv haapok arwnglo doodu”—oogv vv, mvngjwng namgv doinv um ngonu minggo karpv kunv.

But what saith it? The thing is near to thy mouth, and to thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we proclaim.

9 Nonu gaam lokv mingkuk jila ho Jisu kristo ngonugv Ahtuv vla okv mvngjwng la ho Pwknvyarnv ninyia sinam lokv turkur moopv kunv vla mvngdu bolo, nonua ringlin kunv gobv rireku.

And if thou shalt confess with thy mouth our Lord Jesus, and shalt believe with thy heart, that God hath raised him from the dead; thou shalt live.

10 Holvgabv si ngonugv mvngjwng nam lokv Pwknvyarnv gvlo ngonu tarwkbak bv doodunv, ngonugv mingkukrikuk nam lokv ngonu ringnam am paadukunv.

For the heart that believeth in him, is justified; and the mouth that confesseth him, is restored to life.

11 Darwknv kitap vbv mindu, “yvvdw ninyia mvngjwng dudw vv sanga nam kaamare.”

For the scripture saith: Every one that believeth in him, shall not be ashamed.

12 So minam si mvnwng gv lvgabv mindu, vkvlvgavbolo hoka Jius okv Jentail gv pingkolo akusinv yago kaama; Pwknvyarnv mvnwng gv Ahtu akinnv okv yvvdw ninyia gokdudw mvnwng nga nyitv rungdubv boktalwkjidu.

And in this, it discriminateth neither Jews nor Gentiles. For there is one Lord over them all, who is rich, towards every one that calleth on him.

13 Darwknv kitap vbv mindu, “Yvvdw mvdur nam lvgabv Ahtunyi gokdudw vv ringlin kunam gobv rireku.”

For every one that shall call on the name of the Lord, will have life.

14 Vbvritola ninyia mvngjwng matola mvdorridor nam lvgabv bunu oguaingbv gokla nyoredw? Okv bunu doin tvvpa mabolo oguaingbv bunu mvngjwng nyolaredw? Okv bunu doina japgo karma bolo oguaingbv bunu tvvpa nyola redw?

How then shall they call on him, in whom they have not believed? Or, how shall they believe in him, of whom they have not heard? Or, how shall they hear, without a preacher?

15 Doin japjinv agumailo vnglin mabolo oguaingbv bunu doin japla nyola redw? Darwknv kitap vbv mindu, “yvvdw tvvpunv gamlv nga aagv dunv doin minji jinv vdwv aadung dunv si vdwgo kaasartabo bv kaapu rungdu!”

Or, how shall they preach, if they are not sent forth? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of the heralds of peace, and of the heralds of good things?

16 Vbvritola mvnwng ngv tvvpunv gamlv nga laarwk simadu. Aijaya atubongv minto, “Ahtu, yvvla ngonugv doin mintam nama mvngjwng jinv ngv?”

But all of them have not obeyed the proclamation of the gospel. (For, Isaiah said: My Lord, who hath believed our proclamation?)

17 Vbvrikunamv, mvngjwng ngv doin am tvvku lokv aadunv, okv doinv Jisu kristo gv lvkwnglo doin japgo jinamv.

Therefore, faith is from the hearing of the ear; and the hearing of the ear, is from the word of God.

18 Vbvritola ngo tvvkadunv: Si jvjv ngvkudw bunu doin am tvvpa marung jvpv kunvdw? Vv kvtvlo bunu tvvpv nvkvtvlo—holvgabv Darwknv kitap vbv mindu: “Bunugv vdudunam gv vlv ngv nyiamooku mvnwng gv agumailo vngsik karduku; bunugv gamchar vv mooku mvnwng gv chingtardotar lo tvvpok nyaduku.”

But I say: Have they not heard? And, lo, their proclamation hath gone out into all the earth; and their words to the ends of the world.

19 Lvkodv ngo tvvkato: Israel gv nyi vdwv jvjvbv tvvchin marungto ai? Mintuminke bv mirwk chonv ngv mosesnv: “Ngo kvvbi diringmooku nyi gonvnyi mvnvrinv nvla ngoogv nyi vdwa kavtav modubv mvre; okv chimapamu nvgv diringmooku am ngonugv nyi vdwa haachi chimure.”

But I say: Did not Israel know? First, Moses said, thus: I will awaken your emulation, by a people which is not a people; and by a disobedient people, I will provoke you.

20 Okv vdwlo Aijaya ka hv mvngrw yayabv mintoku, “Nga paanya duku oogv yvvdw nga mamabu vdwv; Ngo atubongv kaapa sumutvku oogv yvvdw nga tvvla rimabu vdwa.”

And Isaiah was bold, and said: I was seen by those who sought me not; and I was found by those who inquired not for me.

21 Vbvritola Pwknvyarnv Israel nyi vdwgv lvkwnglo minto, “ngo minam tvvmanv nyi vdwa okv ritormintor sinv vdwa ngoogv laakkv ijo tvkula laarwk sidubv vla ngo vdwnv alugo doya dvdvto.”

But to Israel, he said: All the day, have I stretched out my hands to a contentious and disobedient people.
