< Mark 2 >
1 Alu lonyi loom gv kochinglo Jisu kaparnaum lo vngkur toku, okv ho nw naam lo doopvkv vla yunying ngv dusik toku.
Some days later when Jesus entered Capernaum again the news spread, "He is in the house";
2 Vkvlvgabv hoka nyi vdwv achialvbv aakum kunamv aronv karchung goka dooku mato, okv agi gv agum loka dooku kaamato. Jisu bunua doin japjito.
and at once such a crowd gathered that there was no longer room for them, even around the door.
3 Vdwlo nyi api v aalwk tokudw, digwngnv nyi go Jisu gvlo joolwk toku.
While he was speaking his message, they came bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four men.
4 Nyi twngtv kunam lvgabv, ogubvrijeka, bunu nyi um ninyi gvlo aagv nyumato. Vkvlvgabv Jisu ogolo doopvdw ho tintwbv bunu namwng aolo ungko go mvko toku. Vdwlo bunu mvko tokudw bunu nyi a ninyigv joko lo karmu tvla soolu jitoku.
When they could not get him near to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof under which he stood, and after making an opening, they let down the cot on which the paralytic was lying.
5 Bunugv achialvbv mvngjwng kunam a kaagv rikula, Jisu digwngnv nyi anga minto, “Ngoogv kuunyilo, noogv rimur vdwa mvngnga jipvkun.”
Then Jesus, when he perceived their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son your sins are forgiven."
6 Pvbv tamsarnv megonv ho vdwv doodum tvla bunu mvngsu nyato,
But there were some Scribes sitting there who reasoned in their hearts.
7 “Ogubv so nyi si svbv gaam minladunv? Si Pwknvyarnvnyi nyarjitari namgo! Pwknvyarnv akin mwng yvvdw rimur ham mvngnga ladunv!”
"Why does this man speak like this? He blasphemes. Who is able to forgive sins but One, God himself?"
8 Vjakpi gobv Jisu chintoku ho vdwgv ogugo mvngnam am, vkvlvgabv nw bunua minto, “Ogubv nonu vbv mvngdunv?
Jesus clearly perceived at once be the Spirit that they were thus reasoning in their hearts and said to them.
9 Vbvri minpubv minla, so digwngnv nyi sum, ‘No gv rimur vdwa mvngnga pvkunv,’ vmalo mindubai, ‘Gudunglak, naaraplak noogv karpunvnv nga, okv vngkarto’?
"Why do you reason thus in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your cot and walk’?
10 Vbvrijvka Nyia Kuunyilo ngv nyiamooku so rimur ham anyubv kayu jidubv tojupkunamv doodu hum ngo kaatam dubv rinam go.” Vkvlvgabv nw digwngnv nyi a minto.
But to let you see that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins" -he said to the paralytic-
11 “Ngo nam mindu, dakrap tvkuka, naaraplak noogv karpunvnv nga, okv naam lo vngnyikuka!”
"I bid you rise, take up your cot, and go home."
12 Vbvririlo ho mvnwngngv kaadumto, nyi angv dakrap laku, ninyigv karpunvnv nga naarap toku, okv baapubv vngtoku. Bunu mvnwngngv lamngaknyato okv Pwknvyarnvnyi hartvla, minto, “Ngonu vdwloka svkvnvgo ogugoka kaakw mapvnv!”
The man rose, at once took up his cot, and went out before them all; at which they were all astounded, and gave God glory, saying, "We never saw anything like this."
13 Jisu Galili svparsvlv adarlo lvkodv aakur toku. Nyitwng go nw gvlo aakumto, okv nw bunua tamsar rapto.
Then Jesus went again to the seaside, and the whole crowd kept coming to him, and he taught them.
14 Nw vbv vngrilo, nw kaapato lampu naakumyanv, Lebi Alpius gv kuunyilo, ninyigv opislo dooto. Jisu ninyia minto, “Nga vngming gvto.” Lebi gudungto okv nw a vngming gvtoku.
As he was passing by he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting in the tax-office; and he said to him, "Follow me." So he rose and followed him.
15 Kochinglo Jisu Lebi gv naamlo dvnam dvla dooto. Twngtv rungnv lampu naakumyanv okv toa kunam nyi vdwvka Jisunyi vngming gvto, okv ninyi gvlo megonv aapwngto okv ninyigv lvbwlaksu vdwv tvbul adarlo dooto.
Later on Levi was sitting at table in his house, and together with Jesus and his disciples a number of tax-gatherers and sinners were guests, for there were many of them who used to follow him.
16 Pvbv tamsarnv nyi mego, Parisis nyi vdwv, Jisunyi lampu naakumyanv vdwa okv toa kunam nyi vdwa lvkobv dvdubv kaapato, vkvlvgabv bunu ninyigv lvbwlaksu vdwa tvuto, “Ogubv nw vkvnv nyi vdwa lvkobv dvdunv?”
But when some scribes of the Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax-gatherers, they said to his disciples, "Is he eating and drinking with tax-gatherers and sinners?"
17 Jisu bunuam tvvpato okv mirwkto, “Nyi ngv yvvbunudw chvrv nvngv Daktor a dinchima, vbvritola yvvbunudw lvvmanvngv mwng. Ngo mvngdvnv nyi vdwa gokbv aamato, vbvritola rimurnv vdwa.”
On hearing this Jesus said to them. "It is not the healthy who need a physician, but the sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
18 Doopam gulo Jon gv rigvnam vdwv la okv Parisis vdwv bunu yikla doonyato. Nyi megonv Jisu gvlo aato okv ninyia tvuto, “Si ogu vdw Jon gv lvbwlaksu vdwv la okv Pharisis gv lvbwlaksu vdwv yikla doogvre, vbvritola no gvngv dooma dunv?”
Now the disciples of Johnand the Pharisees were keeping a fast, and people came to ask him, "How is it that the disciples of Johnand the Pharisees are fasting, but your disciples are not?"
19 Jisu mirwkto, “Nonuno nyidalo doonv vdwa dvmatvngma bv vngmu dukubv dvmin dunvre? Hvbv rirung mare! Makbu v doodv dvbv bunuam, bunu hvbv rimare.
"Can friends of the bridegroom fast while he is still with them?" asked Jesus. "As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
20 Vbvritola alu go aariku makbu a bunugv loka vnggv roriku, okv vbvrikubolo bunu ho yigrap reku.
But the days will come when the Bridegroom will be taken away from them; then, on that day, they will fast.
21 “Yvvka vji jenw ariap ham vji jikulo hamtak lwknv kaama; Vbvrikubolo ninyigv jenw hamlwk namv takche rikunyi takgv riku okv ungko ngv kootv yayare.
No one ever sews a piece of unshrunk cloth onto an old garment, otherwise the patch tears away from it - the new from the old - and a worse tear is made.
22 Yvvka anggor ala anw ham pumchup akulo pwlwknv kaamare; vbvribolo anggor ala anw ngv pumchup aku lo hupokre, okv anggor ala ngvla pumchup v alv mariku. Vmabvya anggor ala anw a pumchup anw lo pwlwk yadunv.”
And no one ever pours new wine into old wine-skins, else the wine would burst the skins, and both wine and skins would be lost. New wine is poured into fresh wine-skins.
23 Jius Doonualu golo Jisu radv rongo apum gulo vngpitla vngto. Nw gv lvbwlaksu vdwa lvkobv vngming gvto, bunu radv damw dooku ham gakbwngla pikrap nyatoku.
One Sabbath he was walking along through the wheat-fields, and his disciples, as they began to make their way across, were pulling the heads of wheat.
24 Vkvlvgabv Parisi vdwv Jisunyi minto, “Kaato laka, noogv lvbwlaksu vdwv jius Doonualu lo vbvrinam si ngonugv Pvbv nga rinyingdu!”
"Look," said the Pharisees to him, "Why are they doing on the Sabbath Day what is against the law?"
25 Jisu mirwkto, “Nonu Dabid vdwlo dvnam go dvnwng rilo ogugo ribvdw um nonuno lvkoka puri rikw mai? Nw la okv ninyigv nyi vdwv kano toku,
He answered them. "Have you never read what David did when he was needy and hungry, he and his men?
26 hoka nw vngtoku Pwknvyarnv gv naamlo okv dvtoku Pwknvyarnv gvlo kumlwknam vtwng nga. Svbvrito vdwlo Abiatar nyibu butvyachok bv ririlo. Ngonugv Pvbv ara lokv nyibu vmwng vtwng nga dvnyu nvngv—vbvritola Dabid um dvtoku okv ninyigv nyi vdwaka jita toku.”
How he went into the house of God when Abiathar was priest, and ate the consecrated bread, which none but priests may eat, and gave some to his men?
27 Okv Jisu minya toku, “Nyi si Doonualu lvgabv mvvma; Doonualuv nyi gv alvnam lvgabv mvpvnv;
"The Sabbath," he told them, "was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath;
28 Vkvlvgabv Nyia Kuunyilo ngv Doonualu gvka Ahtu hv.”
so the Son of man is Master even of the Sabbath."
