Therefore imitate God, as his dear children,

and live a life of love, following the example of the Christ, who loved you and gave himself for you as ‘an offering and a sacrifice to God, that should be fragrant and acceptable.’
3 Nonu Pwknvyarnv gv nyi bv ridula, alvmanv yomurchomur minsu dubv vmalo gompwng dubv vmalo alvmabv kaadubv rinam nonugv aralo vbv rirung yoka.
As for unchastity and every kind of impurity, or greed, do not let them even be mentioned among you, as befits Christ’s People,
4 So gaam sum kasingkanyak nvbv okv nyiposoyobv okv tvvlwkkaalwk madubv japyoka. Vbvsvnga, vbv mintoka nam vdwgo umbonyikv mvngdunv vla hartv gvyala ritoka.
nor shameful conduct, nor foolish talk or jesting, for they are wholly out of place among you; but rather thanksgiving.

For of this you may be sure — that no one who is unchaste or impure or greedy of gain (for to be greedy of gain is idolatry) has any place awaiting him in the kingdom of the Christ and God.

Do not let any one deceive you with specious arguments. Those are the sins that bring down the Wrath of God upon the disobedient.
7 Vkvlvgabv vbvrinv nyi vdwgv lvkobv ogubvrijeka lvkingobv riyoka.
Therefore have nothing to do with such people.
8 Nonuno awv kanv lo rinvgobv rito, vbvrijvka nonu Ahtu gv nyi gobv rila riduku, nonu loung lo ridukunv. Vkvlvgabv nonu rinamdaknam am oogv loung lo rinv nyi vrung vdubv ritokuka.
For, although you were once in Darkness, now, by your union with the Lord, you are in the Light. Live as ‘Children of Light’ —
9 Holvgavbolo loung ngv nvgwng mvnwng gv alvnv, darwkchonjornv okv jvjv nga nyitv rungbv nyingkamla laalwk dunv.
For the outcome of life in the Light may be seen in every form of goodness, righteousness, and sincerity —
10 Ahtunyi mvngpu modubv ogu risvdw um nonu chindu bv gwngtoka.
Always trying to find out what is pleasing to the Lord.
11 Ho nyi vdwgv oguogu arv kaamanv rinam um lvkobv rimingdakming gvyoka, ho gv oguogu vv kanvparam lokv la, vbvmayabv, bunua loung lo laalin yatoka. (
Take no part in deeds of Darkness, from which no good can come; on the contrary, expose them.
12 Bunugv risi la ara lokv rinam kudungkua lvkwng lo milin namv maatar alvbv hinyinghiru namv.)
It is degrading even to speak of the things continually done by them in secret.
13 Okv vdwlo anyung kaamanv mvnwng nga lounglo laalin rikudw, vbvrikubolo bunugv jvjvnv ridungsingdung am rvbwngching bv kaapa lareku;
All such actions, when exposed, have their true character made manifest by the Light.
14 Holvgabv ogumvnwng nga rvbwngching bv kaatam kubolo loung bv riduku. Vkvlvgabv si vbv minto “Godung tvkuka, yupnv vdwv, okv sinam lokv turkur tvkuka. Okv Kristo nonua loung am ungkare.”
For everything that has its true character made manifest is clear as light. And that is why it is said — ‘Sleeper, awake! Arise from the dead, And the Christ shall give thee light!’
15 Vkvlvgabv nonu oguaingbv doosvdaksv vdw hinsukasu tvvlaka. Chimapamunv nyi aingbv doyodakyoka, vbvritola chinvpanv aingbv dooladakla ka.
Take great care, then, how you live — not unwisely but wisely,
16 Nonu alvnv dw paanam mvnwng nga um alvnvgobv rinv nvto laka ogulvgavbolo, soogv alu si alvmanv bv riduku.
making the most of every opportunity; for these are evil days.
17 Vbvrikunamv, pvcha nvbv riyoka, vbvritola Pwknvyarnv ogugo nam ridubv mvngdudw vbvching mala rijidubv gwngto laka.
Therefore do not grow thoughtless, but try to understand what the Lord’s will is.
18 Opo tvngyoka, oogv nam simungoomu mvngchik jinvnga; vbvmayabv, Pwknvyarnv gv darwknv dow am pwlwk kootolaka.
Do not drink wine to excess, for that leads to profligacy; but seek to be filled with the Spirit of God, and speak to one another in psalms and hymns and sacred songs.
19 Ajin anyingnga hartvnam gaam lokv, mirimimpak lokv, minji mingkiuk nam lokv okv darwknv mirimimpak lo gaana gaala; nonugv haapok lokv hartv la Ahtunyi kumnam gaam lokv okv kumnam mirimimpak lokv gaagv laka.
Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord.
20 Ngonu Ahtu Jisu Kristo gv amin lokv, Pwknvyarnv Abunyi ogumvnwng lo umbonyikv vbvlaka.
Always give thanks for everything to our God and Father, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Kristonyi mvngdvnam lvgabv nonyi anyiv tulwk minsulaka.
and submit to one another from reverence for him.
22 Nywng vdwv, atubogv nyilua Ahtunyi tulwk sinam aingbv tulwk sutoka.
Wives should submit to their husbands as submitting to the Lord.
23 Vkvlvgavbolo Kristo gv gvrja gv aolo rigv ladubv atubv tujupkunam aingbv nyilo vdwvka nywng gv ao lo rigv ladubv atubv tujupkunamv; okv Kristo ninyi atubongv gvrja gv ringnvbaanv ngv, ninyigv awv.
For a man is the Head of his wife, as the Christ is the Head of the Church — being indeed himself the Saviour of his Body.
24 Holvgabv nywng ngv atubogv ogumvnwng nga bunugv nyilu gv arwng lo tulwk sila ritoka oguaingbv gvrja ngv Kristo gv arwng lo tulwk sila ridudw.
But as the Church submits to the Christ, so also should wives submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Nyilu vdwv, nonugv nywng vdwa alvbv paktoka oguaingbv Kristo gvrja nga pakdudw okv ninyigv turnam am jilwk tokudw.
Husbands, love your wives, just as the Christ loved the Church, and gave himself for her,
26 Hv sum isi lokv darwk dubv harkak choto kula hokoching bv ninyigv gaam lokv Pwknvyarnv gvlo gvrja nga tulwk jidubv vla ritoku,
to make her holy, after purifying her by the Washing with the Water, according to his promise;
27 Hv atubongv gvrja ngam svbv rinamv kaapu—darwk okv gungnying kaama, ungnvtarv kaama okv tikumtilum nam kaama okv oguguka kaavk svgo kaama tvla tulwk sidubv vla rito.
so that he might himself bring the Church, in all her beauty, into his own presence, with no spot or wrinkle or blemish of any kind, but that she might be holy and faultless.
28 Nyi vdwv atugv adwnayak am atubongv oguaingbv paksu dudw vbvching atugv nywng am paksu rungtoka. Yvvnyiv atugv nywng am pakdudw vv atubonga ka paksudu. (
That is how husbands ought to love their wives — as if they were their own bodies. A man who loves his wife is really loving himself;
29 Yvvka ngonu atubogv adwnayak am kaanwng mabv rimadu. Vbvmayabv, Kristo gv gvrja ngam rinam aingchingbv bunua ngonu jichahocha sula okv bunua ringchamriai sula riyadu;
for no one ever yet hated his own body. But every one feeds his body and cares for it, just as the Christ for the Church;
30 holvgavbolo ngonu ninyigv adwn lo atung gunvbv ridunv.)
for we are members of his Body.
31 Darwknv kitap lo vbv mindu, “Vkvlvgabv si mindu nyilo ngv ninyigv abu okv anv nga kayu tvkula okv ninyigv nywng gv lvkobv rila, anyiv akin gobv ridukunv.”
‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and be united to his wife; and the man and his wife shall become one.’
32 Soogv Darwknv Kitap lo ungrwng rungnv chinchi nyomanam jvjv nga kaatam jilindu, vbvritola sum ngo chindu si Kristo okv gvrja lvgabv mindunv.
In this there is a profound truth — I am speaking of Christ and his Church.
33 Vbvritola si nonuaka mindunv: nyilu dvdv ngv atugv aw am paksu aingbv atugv nywng aka pakto laka, okv nywng vdwvka ninyigv nyilu nga mvngdv tvlaka.
However, for you individually, let each love his wife as if she were himself; and the wife be careful to respect her husband.
