2 Korintian 1
1 Pwknvyarnv gv mvngku lokv, Kristo Jisu gv Apostol gubv darkunam Paul ngo gvlokv, okv boru Timoti gvlokv— Korint lo Pwknvyarnv gv Gvrja ngala okv Akaia mooku lo Pwknvyarnv gv nyi mvnwngnga lvkdunv:
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in the whole of Achaia:
2 Ngonugv Abu Pwknvyarnv okv Ahtu Jisu Kristo nonua aya okv sarsopoyo nga jigv yilaka.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Klvi ngonugv Ahtu Jisu Kristo gv Abu Pwknvyarnvnyi umbonyikv vlaju, ayanv Abu, nw gvlokv ridur mvnwngngv aadunv!
Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort;
4 Nw ngonu mvnwng gv adwkaku rinyi ridurdu, ogulvgabv vbolo ngonu oguaingbv Pwknvyarnv gvlo ridur ha paadudw, ho apiabv ngonuaka kvvbi vdwgv adwkaku lo ridur modubv vla.
who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 Kristo gv achialvbv hinching chingnam lo ngonu chingmin gvnam apiabv, vkv aingbv Kristo gvlo ngonu Pwknvyarnv gv kairungbv ridur a paaming gvdunv.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound unto us, even so our comfort also aboundeth through Christ.
6 Vdwlo ngonu hirukaya namgo paadubolo, hv nonua ridur lvgabv okv ringlinbaalin kunam lvgabv; okv ngonu ridur nama paadubolo nonuno ka ridur nama paadunv, ngonugv apiabv hirukaya nga saktv ladubv gwlwk ka nonua ka jidu.
But whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or whether we be comforted, it is for your comfort, which worketh in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer:
7 Vkvlvgabv ngonugv nonua mvngtin v vdwlo biv mare; ngonu chindu nonu ngonugv hirukaya hinam a himing gvnam apiabv, nonuka ngonugv ridur paanam a paaming gvta dunv.
and our hope for you is stedfast; knowing that, as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so also are ye of the comfort.
8 Achiboru vdwa ngonu nonua Asia mooku lokv adwkaku paanam a lvkodv minpa nvpv vla mvngdu. Ngonua kudungkua ridubv jinam angv achialvbv kainvgo okv ai ka nvgo ngonu turdubv mvngtinnam nyemu toku.
For we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning our affliction which befell [us] in Asia, that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
9 Ngonu gvlo sinamv aapv kunvgo vla ngonu mvngtoku. Vbvritola si ngonu atua mvnging simu dubv okv sinv nga turkur mokunv Pwknvyarnvnyi mvnging simu dubv vla riya kunam gukunyi.
yea, we ourselves have had the answer of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
10 Nw ngonua vkvnv achialvbv alvmanv sijiku loka ngonua ringtoku, okv ngonua ringbwngre; okv ngonu n gvlo mvngtin ha mvnglwkre okv nw ngonua lvkodv ringtare,
who delivered us out of so great a death, and will deliver: on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;
11 nonuno ngonua nonugv kumnam lokv ridur yadu. Vkvlvgabv ngonugv lvgabv kumnam dvdv nga riji rungre, okv Pwknvyarnv ngonua aya jire; okv nyi achialvgo ngonugv lvgabv ninyia umbonyikv vre.
ye also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift bestowed upon us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf.
12 Vjak si ngonugv goosu namv ngonugv mvngnamsaknam mv alvyaungbv minlin jido ho ngonu nyia mooku so alvbv ripv dakpv kunv, okv jvjv bv minbolo ngonugv nonua lvkobv ribam dakbam siku lokv ripv kunv, darwk bv okv alvbv Pwknvyarnv gv lokv. Nyia mookugv chinampaanam lokvma vbvritola Pwknvyarnv gv aya lokv ngonu ritoku.
For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
13 Ngonu nonuno oguaingbv purila chinla ridw um lvkdunv. Vbvritola nonugv vjak ngonua chinggv dunam mv tunggo nyimwng, okv ngo mvngtindu nonu ngonua alvbv chinpwng kaapwng reku vla mvngdu. Vbvrikunamv Ahtu Jisu gv aariku alulo nonuno ngonua hartvla okv ngonuka nonua hartv dobv ho nonuno ngonua alvbv chinpwng rikunv.
For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or even acknowledge, and I hope ye will acknowledge unto the end:
as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that we are your glorying, even as ye also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus.
15 Ngo achialvbv mvnwng sum rirungre vla mvngla ngo nonua lvnyibv aya paamu so mvngtala nonugv ho aarung dubv vla mvngchoto.
And in this confidence I was minded to come before unto you, that ye might have a second benefit;
16 Ngo Mesedonia bv vngrilo okv vngkur rikunyika nonua kaarwk sidubv vla rungtoku, ngoogv Judia lo moing vngrinyi nonu gvlokv ridur paanam lvgabv.
and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come unto you, and of you to be set forward on my journey unto Judaea.
17 Sum ngo rungdula, ngo ajikalak manv gubv ripv ai? Vdwlo ngo rungrinyi atunvgv bvmwngbv rungmwngla vjakgobv “Vkv, vkv” okv “Makv, makv” vdubv doonv gulari? (Nonuno ngam ogugo rise vdw um mvngchin manvgo vla mvngdu nvri? Vmalo ngo kvvbi vdwa alvbv mvngku dubv vla “vkv” vmalo “Makv” vnv nyi aingbv kaapvi?)
When I therefore was thus minded, did I shew fickleness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the yea yea and the nay nay?
18 Pwknvyarnv jvjvnv gaam a minpiabv, ngoogv nonua milvjinam angv “Vkv” vtola okv “Makv” vnamgo kaama.
But as God is faithful, our word toward you is not yea and nay.
19 Ogulvgavbolo Pwknvyarnv gv kuunyilo Jisu Kristo gv lvkwng nga Sailas, Timoti okv ngo atubongv nonua japji toku, nyi “Vkv” vnam gula okv “Makv” vnam ma, ho mabv nw Pwknvyarnv gv “Vkv” vnam yangv;
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, [even] by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea.
20 ogulvgavbolo nw Pwknvyarnv gv milvkunam mvnwng gv “Vkv” vnammv. So si vkvlvkwngbv Jisu Kristo gv lokv ngonugv “Amen” vnam a Pwknvyarnvnyi kaibogobv hartvla mindunv.
For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.
21 So si Pwknvyarnv atubongv ngonu hala, nonua lvkobv naadum sikunv, Kristo gvlo ngonu turnama jvjv gubv mvjila; so si Pwknvyarnv atubongv ngonua akusubv darlinkunv,
Now he that stablisheth us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God;
22 okv nw ngonua atu tola tuprw toku, ngonugv lvgabv nw gv bokta vvkum pvvnam a jirungre vla milv jinam a kaatamla ninyigv Darwknv Dow nga ngonugv haapok lo jilwkla riduku.
who also sealed us, and gave [us] the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Ngo Pwknvyarnvnyi tvriakaria nvgobv gokla mindunv—nw ngoogv haapok a chindu! ngoogv Korint lo aaku manamv, so si nonua lvkodv hirukaya paamu kumanam lvgabv ripvku.
But I call God for a witness upon my soul, that to spare you I forbare to come unto Corinth.
24 Nonuno oguaingbv mvngjing rungsedw um ngonu miriadubv rikw yama; ngonu chindu nonu mvngjing ngv haatindu. Vmabvya, ngonu nonua lvkobv kudungkua ribam dunv nonua atubongv mvngpu monam lvgabv.
Not that we have lordship over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
