1 Tesalonian 5

But of the times and the seasons, my brethren, you need not that I write to you;
2 Ogulvgavbolo nonuno atubongv alvbv chinsudo Ahtu gv aanam alu v dvcho nvgv ayunyi rulwknam aingbv rila aareku.
for you truly know that the day of our Lord as a thief in the night so cometh.
3 Vdwlo nyi vdw, “Ogu mvnwngngv alvpv okv sinam nyenam go kaaku mare,” vla minri kudw dvminmabv sinam nyenam v bunu gvlo aalwk reku! hv anvnyimv gv huchi chilwknam apiabv dvminmabv rire okv nyi vdwv hum kiu lamare.
While they shall be saying, Peace and tranquillity, then unawares will destruction arise against them, as distress upon the child-bearer, and they shall not escape.
4 Vbvritola ajin vdw nonuno kanv arwnglo dooma, okv ho gv Alu hv nonua dvchonv apiabv lamdok padubv mvmare.
But you, my brethren, are not in darkness, that that day as a thief should overtake you.
5 Nonu mvnwngngv loung gv nyi vku, okv alu gvngvku. Ngonu ayu gvngvma vmalo kanv arwnglo doonv ma.
For all of you are sons of light, and sons of the day; and are not sons of the night, nor sons of darkness.
6 Vkvlvgabv ngonu kvvbi vdwgv apiabv yupla doyo juka; ngonu huladarla okv chvrvbv doorung lajuka.
Sleep we not, therefore, as the rest; but be wakeful and sober.
7 Ayu lo nyi vdwv yupnya dunv; ayu lo nyi vdwv tvngkium nyadunv.
For they who sleep, in the night sleep; and they who are drunken, in the night are drunken.
8 Vbvritola ngonu alu gvngvku okv ngonu chvrv nvbv rirung laju. Ngonu mvngjwng ngala okv paknam a sarok gubv gvvrung laju, okv ngonu ringlinbaalin kunamgv mvngtin am biotung bv gvvrung laju.
But we who are sons of the day must be wakeful in our minds, and wear the mail-coat of faith and of love, and put on the helmet of the hope of salvation.
9 Pwknvyarnv ngonua ninyigv haachi chinam lo hirukaya paanv gubv darma pvnv, vbvritola Ahtu Jisu Kristo gvlokv ringlin nama paaya laka vla darpv kunv,
For Aloha hath not appointed us to wrath, but to the possession of salvation in our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,
10 ninyigv aari kunyi ngonu sikujeka turku jeka ngonu ninyia lvkobv doonam lvgabv nw ngonu gvbv siji pvkunv.
who died on our behalf, that, whether we wake or sleep, together with him we may live.
11 Okv vkvlvgabv vjak nonugv ridungnam aingbv nonuno ajinanyingnga mintvmiru minsu laka okv ridurkaadur minsu laka.
Wherefore comfort one another, and edify one another, as also you do.
12 Ngonugv ajin vdwa ngonu nonua koodwkrwkla mindunv nonua lvkobv kodungkua ribamnv vdwa kristan singdung lo nonua kaalatala okv minsartamsar la rinv vdwa alvbv mvngdv jirung laka.
BUT I entreat of you, my brethren, to know them who labour among you, and stand before your faces teaching you,
13 Bunugv kudungkua rinam lvga lo bunua kairungbv paknam okv ayanam ham kaatam tolaka. Nonugv ara lo yumchum alvbv dooto laka.
that they be esteemed by you in abundant love; and on account of their work be at peace with them.
14 Ngonugv ajin vdwa, ngonu nonua mintvmiru dunvla, nonuno sepelakrenv vdwa gamrw toka, busukanonv vdwa mintvmiru laka, gungmahaaria nvnga ridur laka, mvnwngnga lvkobv saktv laka.
And I entreat of you, my brethren, (to) admonish the offenders, and encourage the little of soul, and bear the burden of the weak, and prolong your spirit toward every man.
15 Yvvnyika rimur ha rimur minsu madubv kaato laka, vbvritola lokia akonv akonyi okv nyi mvnwnglo alvbv ridubv kaato laka.
And beware, lest any of you evil render for evil; but always follow after (those things which are) good (pl.) toward one another, and toward every man.
16 Lokia himpu nvgobv rilaka,
Be joyful always,
17 Dw mvnwnglo kumlaka,
and pray without ceasing,
18 himpu dvlo hiru dvlo mvnwngnga umbonyikv vlaka. Si nonugv Jisu Kristo gvlo akin gubvrila singnamlo Pwknvyarnv gv mvnglwk kunamv.
and in every thing give thanks; for this is the will of Aloha in Jeshu Meshiha concerning you.
19 Darwknv Dow nga ritum mintam siyoka;
The Spirit quench not.
20 alvnv doin vdwa miakaya mabvka.
Prophecy do not despise.
21 Atok lo ogumvnwng nga hinkwkaakw gvrila: alvnvnga vvpv tolaka
Prove every thing, and what is good retain.
22 okv alvmanv mvnwngnga kayulaka.
And from every evil thing flee.
23 Ahtu Jisu Kristo gv aarikunyi Pwknvyarnv ngonua sarsopoyo nga jinv angv nonugv ayak mvnwngnga—dow, yalu okv ayak— um rimur lokv adu molaka.
But the God of peace himself will sanctify perfectly all of you; and your whole spirit, and your soul, and your body will he keep without fault, to the coming of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
24 Yvvdw nonua gokdunv hv um rireku, ogulvgavbolo hv mvngging dubv rinv ngv.
Faithful is he who hath called you, who himself will do it!
25 Ajin vdwa, ngonugv lvgabvka kumlaka.
My brethren, pray for us.
26 Mvngjwngnv mvnwngnga moopupdvtak la kumrwk laka.
Ask the peace of all our brethren, with the holy kiss.
27 Ngo nonua Ahtu gv jwkrw lokv mintvmiru dunvla nonu so siti sum mvngjwngnv mvnwngnga puri ritam jilaka.
I adjure you, by our Lord, that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.
28 Ahtu Jisu Kristo gv aya ngv nonua lvkobv doi laka.
The grace of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha be with you. Amen.
