1 Kristo adwnayak lo hirukaya am hinjito, oogv vbvrinam aingbv nonuka atubongv maatar alvbv vbv vngdwng rungbv mvngla dootoka; Ogulvgavbolo yvvdw adwnamar lo hirukaya hindunv vv rimur lo rima dunv.
Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;
2 Vbvrikunamv, vjak lokv, nonuno sichingmooku soogv singdung nga ridv svnga Pwknvyarnv gv mvnglwk bv ritoka okv nyia mvngdung bv mvngjimvngro yoka.
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3 Nonuno kvvlo gv richodocho lo Pwknvyarnvnyi chimabv ogubv mvngpvdw vbv nonuno awgo ritoku. Nonugv rinamdaknamv hinyinghirunam, yonwngnam, tvngkiumnam, apamara lo rimisinam, vsiopo lo tvngkamdvkam nam okv kaanwngtanwng manam murti kunam vkvnv singdunglo ritoku.
For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4 Okv vdwlo nonu Pwknvyarnvnyi chimanv vdwgv rikulo lvkinbv rikumabv aachiaak la okv kaami sila rikunamv bunu lamka singak la ridu, okv nonua minvmirvla bunu alvmabv riduku.
Wherein they think it strange that all of you run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
5 Vbvrijvka oogv turnv okv sinv vdwgv jwngkadakala ridukubv doyala ririkunyi vv bunu Pwknvyarnv gvlo bunu awv kiikahaka la jilwk jireku.
Who shall give account (logos) to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
6 Vkvlvgabvdv siku loka alvnv yunying nga japgo kardunv, oogv yvvdw bunugv adwnamar lo rinamdaknam am jwngkadaka la rinam aingbv, vbv mvnwng nga jwngkadaka dukunv; vkvlvgabv bunu dowjwklo gv rinamdaknam lo Pwknvyarnv gvlo vbv alvbv dooladakla dubv bunu gvlo sum japgo kartoku.
For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. (pneuma)
7 Ogumvnwng gv ataranya ngv nvchi duku. Nonu atubongv kumla sinam lvgabv saktv sula okv hingusula dooto laka.
But the end of all things is at hand: be all of you therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
8 Ogumvnwng am lvyabv, ajin anying am alvbv pakmi sitoka, ogulvgavbolo pakmi sinamv rimur achialvgo mamlup la ridu.
And above all things have fervent love (agape) among yourselves: for love (agape) shall cover the multitude of sins.
9 Purmi sinam kaamabv nonugv naam riapgu am kvvbi lvgabv chikuk pvjila rito laka.
Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
10 Pwknvyarnv gv angu angusinv amin jinam am alvbv rungriaparia nvgobv, nyichar dvdv ngv bunu Pwknvyarnv gvlo angusibv amin paanam am kvvbi ajin vdwgv alvnam lvgabv rinvvngnv rungtoka.
As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 Yvvdw japgo kardudw vv, Pwknvyarnv gv doin am japgo karto laka; yvvdw kudungkua ridunv, Pwknvyarnv gv jinam kudungkua lokv gwlwkrungbv rito laka, vbv riku lokv mvnwng yikungyira lvgabv Pwknvyarnvnyi Jisu gv lokv umbonyikv vla hartv nvla dubv, hartvnamv okv jwkrwv Jisu Kristo gvlo doobv yilaka. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God gives: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Ngoogv ajin vdw, vbv nonugv achiapik hindung dunv um, nonu vdwloka hinkw manam ogugo ridunvgo vla lamyoka.
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 Kristo gv hirukaya hingkulo nonugv himing gvdunam am mvngpu yala riya tvlaka, ogulvgavbolo vdwlo ninyigv kairungnv turnamv yunglit lwkri kudw um nonu gvlo himpuv akomaring lwkreku.
But rejoice, inasmuch as all of you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, all of you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 Nonua minjimio dubolo nonu mvngpu laka, ogulvgavbolo nonu Kristo gv rikulo riming gvnv ngv; soogv si Pwknvyarnv gv Dowv, yunglitnv Dowv, nonu gvlo doolwkdu.
If all of you be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are all of you; for the spirit (pneuma) of glory and of God rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 Nonu gvlo hirukaya namgo hindu bolo vv nonugv minvlvnv gobv vmajvka dvchonv akobv, vbvmajvka dvgiolagionv, vmajvka nyi kvvbigv ritung nga rigoripen jinam lokv bvma.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
16 Vbvrijvka nonugv Kristan akobv riku lokv hirukaya hindubolo, um nonu hinyinghiru mabvka vbvritola nonu kristo gv amin am gvvnam lvgabv Pwknvyarnvnyi umbonyikv vya tvka.
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
17 Jwngkadaka rirap dwv aaduku, okv Pwknvyarnv gv atubogv nyi am jwngkadaka chori nvpv. Ngonu gvlo rirap chobolo, Pwknvyarnv gv alvnv yunying am tvvla mvngjwng simanv vdwv anyunganya nyiku ogunvbv riyikudw?
For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 Darwknv kitap vbv mindu, “Alvnv nyi am ringnam lvgabv si achialvgo adwkaku namgo; vbvrikubolo Pwknvyarnvnyi chimabv rimurnv vdwv kokwng lo ogubv rireku?”
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19 Vbvrinamv, yvvdw hirukaya hindudw vv bunu Pwknvyarnv gv mvnglwk bv ridubv bunu atubonga Pwklinyarlinv gvlo mvngtin sinam am jilwk sidula alvnv kudungkua ridubv rirung tvlaka.
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
