Mga Awit 9

1 Para sa punong manunugtog; nakatakda sa estilo ng Muth Laben. Isang awit ni David. Buong puso akong magpapasalamat kay Yahweh; ihahayag ko ang lahat ng kamangha-mangha mong mga gawain.

“To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.

2 Magagalak ako at magsasaya sa iyo; aawit ako ng papuri sa iyong pangalan, Kataas-taasan!

I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:

3 Kapag bumalik ang mga kaaway ko, madadapa (sila) at mapupuksa sa harapan mo.

When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.

4 Dahil pinagtanggol mo ang aking makatuwirang layunin; nakaluklok ka sa iyong trono, makatuwirang hukom!

For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.

5 Sinindak mo ang mga bansa sa pamamagitan ng iyong panlabang sigaw; winasak mo ang masama; binura mo ang kanilang alaala magpakailanman.

Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.

6 Nagiba ang mga kaaway tulad ng mga lugar na gumuho nang gapiin mo ang kanilang mga lungsod. Lahat ng alaala tungkol sa kanila ay naglaho.

O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.

7 Pero nananatili si Yahweh magpakailanman; tinatatag niya ang kaniyang trono para sa katarungan.

But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.

8 Hinahatulan niya ang mundo ng pantay. Gumagawa siya ng makatarungang mga pasya para sa mga bansa.

And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.

9 Magiging matibay na tanggulan din si Yahweh para sa mga inaapi, isang matibay na tanggulan sa panahon ng kaguluhan.

The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.

10 Nagtitiwala ang nakakakilala ng pangalan mo, dahil ikaw, Yahweh, ay hindi nang-iiwan ng mga lumalalapit sa iyo.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.

11 Umawit ng mga papuri kay Yahweh, ang namumuno sa Sion; sabihin sa lahat ng bansa ang kaniyang ginawa.

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.

12 Dahil ang Diyos na naghihiganti sa pagdanak ng dugo ay nakaaalala; hindi niya nakalilimutan ang daing ng mga inaapi.

For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.

13 Maawa ka sa akin, Yahweh; tingnan mo kung paano ako inaapi ng mga kinamumuhian ako, ikaw na kayang agawin ako mula sa mga tarangkahan ng kamatayan.

Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:

14 Para maihayag ko ang lahat ng kapurihan mo. Sa mga tarangkahan ng anak na babae ng Sion magsasaya ako sa iyong kaligtasan!

In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.

15 Lumubog ang mga bansa sa hukay na ginawa nila; nahuli ang mga paa nila sa lambat na tinago nila.

Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.

16 Hinayag ni Yahweh ang kaniyang sarili; nagsagawa siya ng paghatol; nahuli sa patibong ang masama dahil sa sarili niyang mga ginawa. (Selah)

The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)

17 Ang mga masasama ay binalik at pinadala sa sheol, ang patutunguhan ng mga bansa na lumimot sa Diyos. (Sheol h7585)

The wicked shall return into hell, all the nations that are forgetful of God. (Sheol h7585)

18 Dahil ang mga nangangailangan ay hindi kailanman makalilimutan, o itataboy ang mga pag-asa ng mga inaapi.

For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

19 Bumangon ka, Yahweh; huwag mo kaming hayaang lupigin ng tao; nawa mahatulan ang mga bansa sa iyong paningin.

Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.

20 Sindakin mo (sila) Yahweh; nawa malaman ng mga bansa na (sila) ay tao lamang. (Selah)

Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
