Mga Awit 125

1 Silang mga nagtitiwala kay Yahweh ay tulad ng bundok ng Sion, hindi matitinag, at mananatili magpakailanman.

Those/We who trust in Yahweh are [as secure/steadfast] [SIM] as Zion Hill, which cannot be shaken and can never be moved.

2 Gaya ng mga bundok na nakapalibot sa Jerusalem, gayundin nakapalibot si Yahweh sa kaniyang bayan ngayon at magpakailanman.

Like the hills that surround Jerusalem [protect the city], Yahweh protects [us], his people, and he will protect us forever.

3 Ang setro ng kasamaan ay hindi dapat mamuno sa lupain ng mga matutuwid. Kung hindi, ang mga matutuwid ay maaring gawin kung ano ang mali.

Wicked people [MTY] should not [be allowed to] rule over the land where righteous [people] live. If they did that, those righteous [people] might [(be encouraged to imitate them and]) do things that are wrong.

4 Yahweh, gumawa ka ng mabuti, sa kanilang mga mabuti at sa mga matuwid sa kanilang mga puso.

Yahweh, do good things to those who do good things to others and to those who sincerely obey your commands [IDM].

5 Pero para naman sa kanilang mga lumilihis para sa kanilang masasamang pamamaraan, itataboy (sila) ni Yahweh kasama ang mga gumagawa ng masasama. Kapayapaan nawa ang makamtan ng Israel.

But when you punish the wicked people [who are not Israelis], also punish those [Israelis] who turn away from walking on the good roads [MET] that you have shown them! I wish that things will go well for [people in] Israel!
