Josue 16
1 Umabot mula Jordan sa Jerico ang pagtatalaga ng lupain para sa lipi ni Jose, sa silangan ng mga bukal ng Jerico, sa ilang, paakyat mula sa Jerico patungo sa maburol na bansa ng Bethel.
Then came out the lot, for the sons of Joseph, from the Jordan by Jericho, at the waters of Jericho, eastward, —the desert, going up from Jericho, through the hill country to Bethel;
2 Pagkatapos papunta ito mula sa Bethel hanggang sa Luz at dumaan patungong Atarot, ang lupain ng mga Arkita.
and it goeth out from Bethel towards Luz, —and passeth over unto the boundary of the Archites at Ataroth;
3 Pagkatapos bumaba ito pakanluran sa lupain ng mga Jaflatita, hanggang sa kalayuan ng lupain ng babang Beth Horon, at pagkatapos patungo sa Gezer; at nagtapos ito sa dagat.
and descendeth westward, unto the boundary of the Japhletites, as far as the boundary of Bethhoron the nether, and as far as Gezer, —and the extensions thereof are to the sea.
4 Sa ganitong paraan natanggap ng mga lipi ni Jose, Manases at Efraim ang kanilang pamana.
So the sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.
5 Ang lupain ng lipi ni Efraim na itinalaga sa kanilang mga angkan ay ang sumusunod: ang hangganan ng kanilang minana sa silangan mula Atarot Addar hanggang sa kalayuan ng Mataas ng Beth Horon,
And the boundary of the sons of Ephraim, by their families, was, —yea the boundary of their inheritance on the east, was Ataroth-addar, as far as Beth-horon the upper;
6 at mula roon nagpatuloy ito patungong dagat. Mula sa Micmetat sa hilaga lumiko ito pasilangan tungo sa Taanat Silo at lampas na dumaan ito sa silangan tungo sa Janoa.
and the boundary goeth out westward at Michmethath, on the north, then the boundary bendeth round easward, to Taanath-shiloh, —and passeth by it on the east to Janoah;
7 Pagkatapos bumaba ito mula sa Janoa patungong Atarot at patungong Naara, at pagkatapos nakarating sa Jerico at nagtapos sa Jordan.
and goeth down from Janoah to Ataroth and to Naarah, —and toucheth upon Jericho, and goeth out at the Jordan.
8 Mula sa hangganan ng Tappua nagpunta nang pakanluran patungo sa bukal ng Kana at nagtapos sa dagat. Ito ang minana ng lipi ni Efraim, na itinalaga sa kanilang mga angkan,
From Tappuah, runneth the boundary along westward, to the ravine of Kanah, and the extensions thereof are to the sea, —this, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, by their families;
9 kasama ang mga lungsod na pinili para sa lipi ni Efraim sa loob ng minana ng lipi ni Manases—lahat ng mga lungsod, gayundin ang kanilang mga nayon.
together with the cities which were separated for the sons of Ephraim, in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, —all the cities, with their villages.
10 Hindi nila pinaalis ang mga Cananaeo na naninirahan sa Gezer, kaya ang mga Cananaeo ay nanirahan sa Efraim hanggang ngayon, pero ang mga taong ito ay sapilitang pinagtrabaho.
But they did not dispossess the Canaanites who were dwelling in Gazer, —so the Canaanites have dwelt in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and have become tributary servants.
