1 Mga Cronica 10
1 At ngayon, nakipaglaban ang mga Filisteo laban sa Israel. Tumakas ang bawat Israelita mula sa mga Filisteo at pinatay sa Bundok ng Gilboa.
And [the] Philistines they fought against Israel and he fled [the] man of Israel from before [the] Philistines and they fell slain on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
2 Nagpatuloy ang mga Filisteo sa pagtugis kay Saul at sa kaniyang mga anak na lalaki. Pinatay ng mga Filisteo ang kaniyang mga anak na lalaki na sina Jonatan, Abinadab at Melquisua.
And they pursued closely [the] Philistines after Saul and after sons his and they struck down [the] Philistines Jonathan and Abinadab and Malki-Shua [the] sons of Saul.
3 Naging matindi ang digmaan laban kay Saul at inabutan siya ng mga mamamana. Lubha siyang nasugatan dahil sa mga mamamana.
And it was heavy the battle on Saul and they found him the archers with the bow and he was in severe pain from the archers.
4 Pagkatapos nito, sinabi ni Saul sa tagadala ng kaniyang mga baluti. “Hugutin mo ang iyong tabak at isaksak mo ito sa akin. Kung hindi, darating ang mga hindi tuli at aabusuhin ako”. Ngunit ayaw gawin ng tagadala ng kaniyang mga baluti, sapagkat siya ay takot na takot. Kaya hinugot ni Saul ang sariling tabak at sinaksak ang kaniyang sarili.
And he said Saul to [the] bearer of weapons his draw out sword your - and pierce through me with it lest they should come the uncircumcised [men] these and they will deal wantonly with me and not he was willing [the] bearer of weapons his for he was afraid exceedingly. And he took Saul the sword and he fell on it.
5 Nang makita ng tagadala ng kaniyang mga baluti na patay na si Saul, itinusok rin niya ang tabak sa kaniyang sarili at namatay.
And he saw [the] bearer of weapons his that he had died Saul and he fell also he on the sword and he died.
6 Kaya namatay si Saul at ang kaniyang tatlong anak na lalaki, kaya ang lahat ng kaniyang sambahayan ay magkakasamang namatay.
And he died Saul and three of sons his and all household his together they died.
7 Nang makita ng bawat Israelitang nasa lambak na tumakas sila, at patay na si Saul at ang kaniyang mga anak, iniwan nila ang kanilang mga lungsod at nagsitakas sila. At dumating ang mga Filisteo at nanirahan doon.
And they saw every man of Israel who [was] in the valley that they had fled and that they had died Saul and sons his and they abandoned cities their and they fled and they came [the] Philistines and they dwelt in them.
8 At nangyari nga kinabukasan, nang dumating ang mga Filisteo upang pagnakawan ang mga patay, natagpuan nilang patay si Saul at ang kaniyang mga anak na lalaki sa Bundok ng Gilboa.
And it was from [the] next day and they came [the] Philistines to strip the [ones] slain and they found Saul and sons his fallen on [the] mountain of Gilboa.
9 Hinubaran nila si Saul, pinugutan siya ng ulo at kinuha ang kaniyang baluti. Nagpadala sila ng mga mensahero sa buong Filistia upang ikalat ang balita sa kanilang mga diyus-diyosan at sa lahat ng tao.
And they stripped him and they took head his and weapons his and they sent in [the] land of [the] Philistines all around to bear [the] news to idols their and the people.
10 Inilagay nila ang kaniyang baluti sa templo ng kanilang mga diyus-diyosan at isinabit ang kaniyang ulo sa templo ni Dagon.
And they put weapons his [the] house of gods their and skull his they fixed [the] house of Dagon.
11 Nang marinig ng mga taga-Jabes-Gilead ang lahat ng ginawa ng mga Filisteo kay Saul,
And they heard all Jabesh Gilead all that they had done [the] Philistines to Saul.
12 pumunta ang lahat ng kanilang mandirigma at kinuha ang katawan ni Saul maging ang kaniyang mga anak at dinala nila ang mga ito sa Jabes. Inilibing nila ang kanilang mga buto sa ilalim ng puno ng ensina at nag-ayuno sila ng pitong araw.
And they arose every man of strength and they took [the] corpse of Saul and [the] corpses of sons his and they brought them Jabesh towards and they buried bones their under the oak in Jabesh and they fasted seven days.
13 Namatay si Saul dahil hindi siya naging tapat kay Yahweh. Hindi siya sumunod sa mga tagubilin ni Yahweh, sa halip, humingi siya ng payo sa taong nakikipag-usap sa patay.
And he died Saul in unfaithfulness his which he had acted unfaithfully against Yahweh on [the] word of Yahweh which not he kept and also to consult by necromancy to consult.
14 Hindi siya humingi ng patnubay mula kay Yahweh, kaya pinatay siya ni Yahweh at ibinigay ang kaniyang kaharian kay David na anak na lalaki ni Jesse.
And not he consulted Yahweh and he put to death him and he turned over the kingship to David [the] son of Jesse.
