Nehemias 12
1 Ang mga ito nga ang mga saserdote at ang mga Levita na nagsisampa na kasama ni Zorobabel na anak ni Sealthiel, at ni Jesua: si Seraias, si Jeremias, si Ezra;
And these are the priests and the Levites that came up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealthiel, and Jeshua': Serayah, Jeremiah, 'Ezra,
2 Si Amarias; si Malluch, si Hartus;
Amaryah, Malluch, Chattush,
3 Si Sechanias, si Rehum, si Meremoth;
Shechanyah, Rechum, Meremoth,
4 Si Iddo, si Ginetho, si Abias;
'Iddo, Ginnethoy, Abiyah,
5 Si Miamin, si Maadias, si Bilga;
Miyamin, Ma'adyah, Bilgah,
6 Si Semaias, at si Joiarib, si Jedaias;
Shema'yah, and Joyarib, Jed'ayah,
7 Si Sallum, si Amoc, si Hilcias, si Jedaias. Ang mga ito'y ang mga pinuno sa mga saserdote at sa kanilang mga kapatid sa mga kaarawan ni Jesua.
Sallu, 'Amok, Chilkiyah, Jed'ayah. These were the chiefs of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua'.
8 Bukod dito'y ang mga Levita: si Jesua, si Binnui, si Cadmiel, si Serebias, si Juda, at si Mathanias, na namamahala sa pagpapasalamat, siya at ang kaniyang mga kapatid.
And the Levites: Jeshua', Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebyah, Judah, and Matthaniah, who was over the songs of thanksgiving, he and his brethren;
9 Si Bacbucias, naman at si Unni, na kanilang mga kapatid, ay nagkakaharapan sa kanikaniyang pulutong.
And Bakbukyah and 'Unni, their brethren, were opposite to them in the watches.
10 At naging anak ni Jesua si Joiacim, at naging anak ni Joiacim si Eliasib, at naging anak ni Eliasib, si Joiada,
And Jeshua' begat Joyakim, and Joyakim begat Elyashib, and Elyashib begat Joyada'.
11 At naging anak ni Joiada si Jonathan at naging anak ni Jonathan si Jaddua.
And Joyada' begat Jonathan, and Jonathan begat Jaddua'.
12 At sa mga kaarawan ni Joiacim, ay mga saserdote, na mga pangulo ng mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang: kay Seraias, si Meraias; kay Jeremias, si Hananias;
And in the days of Joyakim were priests, as chiefs of the divisions: Of Serayah, Merayah; of Jeremiah, Chananyah;
13 Kay Ezra, si Mesullam; kay Amarias, si Johanan;
Of 'Ezra, Meshullam; of Amaryah, Jehochanan;
14 Kay Melicha si Jonathan; kay Sebanias, si Joseph;
Of Mellchu, Jonathan; of Shebanyah, Joseph;
15 Kay Harim, si Adna; kay Meraioth, si Helcai;
Of Charim, 'Adna; of Merayoth, Chelkai;
16 Kay Iddo, si Zacarias; kay Ginnethon, si Mesullam;
Of 'Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 Kay Abias, si Zichri; kay Miniamin, kay Moadias, si Piltai;
Of Abiyah, Zichri; of Minyamin, of Mo'adyah, Piltai;
18 Kay Bilga, si Sammua; kay Semaias, si Jonathan;
Of Bilgah, Shammua'; of Shem'ayah, Jehonathan;
19 At kay Joiarib, si Mathenai; kay Jedaias, si Uzzi;
And of Joyarib, Matthenai; of Jeda'yah, 'Uzzi;
20 Kay Sallai, si Callai; kay Amoc, si Eber;
Of Sallai, Kallai; of 'Amok, 'Eber;
21 Kay Hilcias, si Hasabias; kay Jedaias, si Nathanael.
Of Chilkiyah, Chashabyah; of Jeda'yah, Nethanel.
22 Ang mga Levita sa mga kaarawan ni Eliasib, ni Joiada, at ni Johanan, at ni Jaddua, ay nangasulat sa mga pangulo ng mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang: gayon din ang mga saserdote sa paghahari ni Dario na taga Persia.
Of the Levites in the days of Elyashib, Yoyada', and Yochanan, and Jaddua', are written down the chiefs of the divisions: also those of the priests to the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 Ang mga anak ni Levi, na mga pangulo ng mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang, ay nangasulat sa aklat ng mga alaala, hanggang sa mga kaarawan ni Johanan na anak ni Eliasib.
The sons of Levi, the chiefs of the divisions were written down in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Jochanan the son of Elyashib.
24 At ang mga pinuno ng mga Levita: si Hasabias, si Serabias, si Jesua na anak ni Cadmiel, na may mga kapatid na nangasa tapat nila upang magsipuri at nangagpasalamat, ayon sa utos ni David na lalake ng Dios, sa pulutong at pulutong.
And the chiefs of the Levites were: Chashabyah, Sherebyah, and Jeshua' the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren opposite to them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the command of David the man of God, section by section.
25 Si Mathanias, at si Bucbucias, si Obadias, si Mesullam, si Talmon, si Accub, ay mga tagatanod-pinto, na nangagbabantay sa mga kamalig ng mga pintuang-bayan.
Matthanyah, and Bakbukyah, 'Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, 'Akkub, were watching gatekeepers on the watch at the thresholds of the gates.
26 Ang mga ito'y sa mga kaarawan ni Joiacim, na anak ni Jesua, na anak ni Josadac, at sa mga kaarawan ni Nehemias na tagapamahala, at ng saserdoteng Ezra na kalihim.
These were in the days of Joyakim, the son of Jeshua', the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of 'Ezra the priest, the expounder.
27 At sa pagtatalaga ng kuta ng Jerusalem ay kanilang hinanap ang mga Levita mula sa lahat nilang dako upang dalhin nila sila sa Jerusalem, na ipagdiwang ang pagtatalaga na may kasayahan, na may mga pagpapasalamat, at may mga awitan din may mga cimbalo, mga salterio, at may mga alpa.
And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to celebrate the dedication with joy, with thanksgivings, and with singing, cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
28 At ang mga anak ng mga mangaawit ay nagpipisan mula sa kapatagan ng palibot ng Jerusalem, at mula sa mga nayon ng mga Netophatita;
And there gathered themselves together the sons of the singers, both out of the district round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophah;
29 Mula rin naman sa Beth-gilgal, at mula sa mga parang ng Geba at ng Azmaveth: sapagka't nangagtayo sa ganang kanila ang mga mangaawit ng mga nayon sa palibot ng Jerusalem.
Also from Beth-hagilgal, and out of the fields of Geba' and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves villages round about Jerusalem.
30 At ang mga saserdote at ang mga Levita ay nangagpakalinis; at kanilang nilinis ang bayan, at ang mga pintuang-bayan, at ang kuta.
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and then they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Nang magkagayo'y isinampa ko ang mga prinsipe sa Juda sa ibabaw ng kuta, at akin silang pinapagdalawang malaking pulutong na nangagpasalamat at nagsiyaong sunodsunod; na ang isa'y lumalakad sa kanan sa ibabaw ng kuta sa dako ng pintuang-bayan ng tapunan ng dumi;
Then brought I up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and stationed two great companies for thanksgiving, and trains to walk on the right hand upon the wall by the dung-gate;
32 At sumusunod sa kanila si Osaias, at ang kalahati sa mga prinsipe sa Juda,
And after them walked Hosha'yah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33 At si Azarias, si Ezra, at si Mesullam,
And 'Azaryah, 'Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Si Juda, at si Benjamin, at si Semaias, at si Jeremias,
Judah, and Benjamin, and Shema'yah, and Jeremiah;
35 At ang iba sa mga anak ng mga saserdote na may mga pakakak: si Zacarias na anak ni Jonathan, na anak ni Semaias, na anak ni Mathanias, na anak ni Micaya, na anak ni Zacur, na anak ni Asaph;
And of the sons of priests' with trumpets, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shema'yah, the son of Matthanyah, the son of Michayah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Assaph;
36 At ang kaniyang mga kapatid, na si Semaias, at si Azarel, si Milalai, si Gilalai, si Maai, si Nathanael, at si Juda, si Hanani, na may mga panugtog ng tugtugin ni David na lalake ng Dios; at si Ezra na kalihim ay nasa unahan nila:
And his brethren, Shema'yah, and 'Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Ma'ai, Nethanel, and Judah, Chanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and 'Ezra the expounder walked before them.
37 At sa tabi ng pintuang-bayan ng bukal, at nagtuwid sila sa harapan nila, na sila'y nagsisampa sa mga baytang ng bayan ni David sa sampahan sa kuta, sa ibabaw ng bahay ni David, hanggang sa pintuang-bayan ng tubig sa dakong silanganan.
And over the fountain-gate, and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.
38 At ang isang pulutong nila na nagpapasalamat ay yumaong sinalubong sila, at ako'y sa hulihan nila, na kasama ko ang kalahati ng bayan sa ibabaw ng kuta, sa itaas ng moog ng mga hurno, hanggang sa maluwang na kuta;
And the other company for thanksgiving that walked in the opposite direction to them, —this one did I follow, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the ovens even as far as the broad wall;
39 At sa ibabaw ng pintuang-bayan ng Ephraim, at sa matandang pintuang-bayan at sa pintuang-bayan ng mga isda, at sa moog ng Hananel, at sa moog ng Meah, hanggang sa pintuang-bayan ng mga tupa: at sila'y nagsitayong nangakatigil sa pintuang-bayan ng bantay.
And above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish-gate, and the tower of Chananel, and the tower of Meah, even as far as the sheep-gate; and they halted at the prison-gate.
40 Sa gayo'y nagsitayo ang dalawang pulutong nila na nangagpasalamat sa bahay ng Dios, at ako, at ang kalahati sa mga pinuno na kasama ko.
So did the two companies for thanksgiving place themselves in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me.
41 At ang mga saserdote, si Eliacim, si Maaseias, si Miniamin, si Michaias, si Elioenai, si Zacarias, at si Hananias, na may mga pakakak;
And the priests, Elyakim, Ma'asseyah, Minyamin, Michayah, Elyo'enai, Zechariah, and Chananiah, with trumpets;
42 At si Maaseias, at si Semeias, at si Eleazar, at si Uzzi, at si Johanan, at si Malchias, at si Elam, at si Ezer. At ang mga mangaawit ay nagsiawit ng malakas, na kasama si Jezrahias, na tagapamahala sa kanila.
And Ma'asseyah, and Shema'yah, and El'azar, and 'Uzzi, and Jehochanan, and Malkiyah, and 'Elam, and 'Ezer. And the singers sang aloud, with Yisrachyah as their overseer.
43 At sila'y nangaghandog ng malalaking hain ng araw na yaon, at nangagalak; sapagka't sila'y pinapagkatuwa ng Dios ng di kawasa; at ang mga babae naman at ang mga bata ay nangagalak: na anopa't ang kagalakan ng Jerusalem ay narinig hanggang sa malayo.
And they sacrificed on that day great sacrifices, and rejoiced; for God had caused them to rejoice with great joy; and also the women and the children rejoiced: so that the [shout of] joy of Jerusalem was heard even at a great distance off.
44 At nang araw na yaon ay nahalal ang ilan sa mga lalake sa mga silid na ukol sa mga kayamanan, sa mga handog na itataas, sa mga unang bunga, at sa mga ikasangpung bahagi, upang pisanin sa mga yaon, ayon sa mga bukid ng mga bayan, na mga bahaging takda ng kautusan sa mga saserdote at mga Levita: sapagka't kinagagalakan ng Juda ang mga saserdote at mga Levita na nagsitayo.
And there were appointed at that day certain men as superintendents over the chambers for the treasuries, for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions according to the law for the priests and the Levites; for Judah had joy on the priests and on the Levites that stood there,
45 At sila'y nangagingat ng tungkulin sa kanilang Dios, at ng tungkulin sa paglilinis, at gayong ginawa ng mga mangaawit at mga tagatanod-pinto, ayon sa utos ni David, at ni Salomon sa kaniyang anak.
And kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and as singers and gatekeepers, according to the command of David, [and] of Solomon his son.
46 Sapagka't sa mga kaarawan ni David at ni Asaph ng una ay may pinuno sa mga mangaawit, at mga awit na pagpuri at pasasalamat sa Dios.
For in the days of David and Assaph of old there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
47 At ang buong Israel sa mga kaarawan ni Zorobabel, at sa mga kaarawan ni Nehemias, ay nangagbigay ng mga bahagi ng mga mangaawit, at mga tagatanod-pinto, ayon sa kailangan sa bawa't araw: at kanilang itinalaga sa mga Levita; at itinalaga ng mga Levita sa mga anak ni Aaron.
And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the gatekeeper, what was required for every day on its day; and they sanctified things for the Levites: and the Levites sanctified [the portion due] for the children of Aaron.
