Sakaria 3

1 Sedan lät han mig se översteprästen Josua stående inför HERRENS ängel; och Åklagaren stod vid hans högra sida för att anklaga honom.

And he showed me Joshua the priest great standing before [the] angel of Yahweh and the accuser [was] standing at right [hand] his to accuse him.

2 Men HERREN sade till Åklagaren: "HERREN skall näpsa dig, du Åklagare; ja, HERREN skall näpsa dig, han som har utvalt Jerusalem. Är då icke denne en brand, ryckt ur elden?"

And he said Yahweh to the accuser may he rebuke Yahweh you O accuser and may he rebuke Yahweh you who has chosen Jerusalem ¿ not [is] this a piece of firewood plucked out from a fire.

3 Och Josua var klädd i orena kläder, där han stod inför ängeln

And Joshua he was clothed garments filthy and standing before the angel.

4 Och denne tog till orda och sade till dem som stodo där såsom hans tjänare: "Tagen av honom de orena kläderna." Och till honom själv sade han: "Se, jag har tagit bort ifrån dig din missgärning, och man skall nu kläda dig i högtidskläder."

And he answered and he said to those [who] were standing before him saying remove the garments filthy from on him and he said to him see I have taken away from on you iniquity your and I will clothe you robes.

5 Då sade jag: "Må man ock sätta en ren bindel på hans huvud." Och de satte en ren bindel på hans huvud och klädde på honom andra kläder, medan HERRENS ängel stod därbredvid.

And I said let them put a turban clean on head his and they put the turban clean on head his and they clothed him garments and [the] angel of Yahweh [was] standing.

6 Och HERRENS ängel betygade för Josua och sade:

And he admonished [the] angel of Yahweh Joshua saying.

7 "Så säger HERREN Sebaot: Om du vandrar på mina vägar och håller vad jag har bjudit dig hålla, så skall du ock få styra mitt hus och vakta mina gårdar; och jag skall låta dig hava din gång bland dessa som här göra tjänst.

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts if in ways my you will walk and if charge my you will keep and also you you will govern house my and also you will guard courts my and I will give to you goings between those [who] are standing these.

8 Hör härpå, Josua, du överstepräst, med dina medbröder, som sitta här inför dig (ty dessa män skola vara ett tecken): Se, jag vill låta min tjänare Telningen komma;

Hear please O Joshua - the priest great you and companions your who sit before you for [are] men of sign they for here I [am] about to bring servant my branch.

9 ty se, i den sten som jag har lagt inför Josua -- över vilken ena sten sju ögon vaka -- i den skall jag inrista den inskrift som hör därtill, säger HERREN Sebaot; och jag skall utplåna detta lands missgärning på en enda dag.

For - there! the stone which I have set before Joshua [are] on a stone one seven eyes here I [am] about to engrave engraving its [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts and I will remove [the] iniquity of the land that in a day one.

10 På den tiden, säger HERREN Sebaot, skall var och en av eder kunna inbjuda den andre till gäst under sitt vinträd och fikonträd."

In the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts you will invite each neighbor his to under a vine and to under a fig tree.
