1 Sjungen till HERRENS ära en ny sång, sjungen till HERRENS ära, alla länder.
Sing to Jehovah a new song, Sing to Jehovah all the earth.
2 Sjungen till HERRENS ära, loven hans namn. Båden glädje var dag, förkunnen hans frälsning.
Sing to Jehovah, bless His name, Proclaim from day to day His salvation.
3 Förtäljen bland hedningarna hans ära, bland alla folk hans under.
Declare among nations His honour, Among all the peoples His wonders.
4 Ty stor är HERREN och högt lovad, fruktansvärd är han mer än alla gudar.
For great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, Fearful He [is] over all gods.
5 Ty folkens alla gudar äro avgudar, men HERREN är den som har gjort himmelen.
For all the gods of the peoples [are] nought, And Jehovah made the heavens.
6 Majestät och härlighet äro inför hans ansikte, makt och glans i hans helgedom.
Honour and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and beauty in His sanctuary.
7 Given åt HERREN, I folkens släkter, given åt HERREN ära och makt;
Ascribe to Jehovah, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
8 given åt HERREN hans namns ära, bären fram skänker, och kommen i hans gårdar.
Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present and come in to His courts.
9 Tillbedjen HERREN i helig skrud, bäven för hans ansikte, alla länder.
Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the honour of holiness, Be afraid of His presence, all the earth.
10 Sägen bland hedningarna: "HERREN är nu konung! Därför står jordkretsen fast och vacklar icke; han dömer folken med rättvisa."
Say among nations, 'Jehovah hath reigned, Also — established is the world, unmoved, He judgeth the peoples in uprightness.'
11 Himmelen vare glad, och jorden fröjde sig; havet bruse och allt vad däri är.
The heavens joy, and the earth is joyful, The sea and its fulness roar.
12 Marken glädje sig och allt som är därpå, ja, då juble alla skogens träd.
The field exulteth, and all that [is] in it, Then sing do all trees of the forest,
13 inför HERREN, ty han kommer, ty han kommer för att döma jorden. Han skall döma jordens krets med rättfärdighet och folken med sin trofasthet.
Before Jehovah, for He hath come, For He hath come to judge the earth. He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the peoples in His faithfulness!
