1 Mosebok 15

1 En tid härefter kom HERRENS ord i en syn till Abram; han sade: "Frukta icke, Abram, jag är din sköld, din lön skall bliva mycket stor."

After - the things these it came [the] word of Yahweh to Abram in the vision saying may not you fear O Abram I [am] a shield of you reward your [will be] great very.

2 Men Abram sade: "Herre, HERRE, vad vill du då giva mig? Jag går ju barnlös bort, och arvinge till mitt hus bliver en man från Damaskus, Elieser."

And he said Abram O Lord Yahweh what? will you give to me and I [am] going childless and [the] son of [the] acquisition of household my he [is] Damascus Eliezer.

3 Och Abram sade ytterligare: "Mig har du icke givit någon livsfrukt; en av mitt husfolk skall bliva min arvinge."

And he said Abram here! to me not you have given offspring and there! [the] son of household my [is] inheriting me.

4 Men se, HERRENS ord kom till honom; han sade: "Nej, denne skall icke bliva din arvinge, utan en som utgår från ditt eget liv skall bliva din arvinge."

And there! [the] word of Yahweh [was] to him saying not he will inherit you this [one] that except [one] who he will come out from inward parts your he he will inherit you.

5 Och han förde honom ut och sade: "Skåda upp till himmelen, och räkna stjärnorna, om du kan räkna dem." Och han sade till honom: "Så skall din säd bliva."

And he brought out him the outside towards and he said look please the heavens towards and count the stars if you are able to count them and he said to him thus it will be offspring your.

6 Och han trodde på HERREN; och han räknade honom det till rättfärdighet.

And he believed in Yahweh and he credited it to him righteousness.

7 Och han sade till honom: "Jag är HERREN, som har fört dig ut från det kaldeiska Ur för att giva dig detta land till besittning."

And he said to him I [am] Yahweh who I brought out you from Ur of [the] Chaldeans to give to you the land this to take possession of it.

8 Han svarade: "Herre, HERRE, varav skall jag veta att jag skall besitta det?"

And he said O Lord Yahweh how? will I know that I will take possession of it.

9 Då sade han till honom: "Tag åt mig en treårig kviga, en treårig get och en treårig vädur, därtill en turturduva och en ung duva."

And he said to him bring! to me a heifer three years old and a goat three years old and a ram three years old and a turtle-dove and a young pigeon.

10 Och han tog åt honom alla dessa djur och styckade dem mitt itu och lade styckena mitt emot varandra; dock styckade han icke fåglarna.

And he brought to him all these and he cut in pieces them in the middle and he set each piece its to meet neighbor its and the bird[s] not he cut in two.

11 Och rovfåglarna slogo ned på de döda kropparna, men Abram drev bort dem.

And it came down the bird[s] of prey on the carcasses and he drove away them Abram.

12 När nu solen var nära att gå ned och en tung sömn hade fallit på Abram, se, då kom en förskräckelse över honom och ett stort mörker.

And it was the sun [about] to go and a deep sleep it fell on Abram and there! dread darkness great [was] falling on him.

13 Och han sade till Abram: "Det skall du veta, att din säd skall komma att leva såsom främlingar i ett land som icke tillhör dem, och de skola där vara trälar, och man skall förtrycka dem; så skall ske i fyra hundra år."

And he said to Abram certainly you will know that a sojourner - it will be offspring your in a land [which] not [belongs] to them and they will serve them and they will afflict them four hundred year[s].

14 Men det folk vars trälar de bliva skall jag ock döma. Sedan skola de draga ut med stora ägodelar.

And also the nation which they will serve [will be] judging I and after thus they will come out with possession[s] great.

15 Men du själv skall gå till dina fäder i frid och bliva begraven i en god ålder.

And you you will go to ancestors your in peace you will be buried in old age good.

16 Och i det fjärde släktet skall din säd komma hit tillbaka. Ty ännu hava icke amoréerna fyllt sin missgärnings mått."

And [the] generation fourth they will return hither for not [is] complete [the] iniquity of the Amorite[s] until now.

17 Då nu solen hade gått ned och det hade blivit alldeles mörkt, syntes en rykande ugn med flammande låga, som for fram mellan styckena.

And it was the sun it had gone and darkness it was and there! a fire pot of smoke and a torch of fire which it passed between the pieces these.

18 På den dagen slöt HERREN ett förbund med Abram och sade: "Åt din säd skall jag giva detta land, från Egyptens flod ända till den stora floden, till floden Frat:

On the day that he made Yahweh with Abram a covenant saying to offspring your I give the land this from [the] river of Egypt to the river great [the] river of Euphrates.

19 kainéernas, kenaséernas, kadmonéernas,

The Kenite[s] and the Kenizzite[s] and the Kadmonite[s].

20 hetiternas, perisséernas, rafaéernas,

And the Hittite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Rephaites.

21 amoréernas, kananéernas, girgaséernas och jebuséernas land."

And the Amorite[s] and the Canaanite[s] and the Girgashite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
