Hesekiel 43

1 Och han lät mig gå åstad till porten, den port som vette åt öster.

Then he took me unto the gate, —even the gate that looked toward the east;

2 Då såg jag Israels Guds härlighet komma österifrån, och dånet därvid var såsom dånet av stora vatten, och jorden lyste av hans härlighet.

when lo! the glory of the God of Israel coming from the way of the east, —and the sound of him, was as the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory.

3 Och den syn som jag då såg var likadan som den jag såg, när jag kom för att fördärva staden; det var en syn likadan som den jag såg vid strömmen Kebar. Och jag föll ned på mitt ansikte.

And it was like the appearance of the vision which I had seen like the vision which I saw—when I came in to destroy the city, also the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar, —so I fell upon my face.

4 Och HERRENS härlighet kom in i huset genom den port som låg mot öster.

And the glory of Yahweh entered into the house, —by way of the gate which looked toward the east.

5 Och en andekraft lyfte upp mig och förde mig in på den inre förgården, och jag såg att HERRENS härlighet uppfyllde huset.

So then the spirit lifted me up, and brought me into the inner court, —and lo! the glory of Yahweh filled the house.

6 Då hörde jag en röst tala till mig från huset, under det att en man stod bredvid mig.

Then heard I one speaking unto me. out of the house, —and a man, there was standing beside me.

7 Den sade till mig: Du människobarn, detta är den plats där min tron är, den plats där mina fötter skola stå, där jag vill bo ibland Israels barn evinnerligen. Och Israels hus skall icke mer orena mitt eviga namn, varken de själva eller deras konungar, med sin trolösa avfällighet, med sina konungars döda kroppar och med sina offerhöjder:

Then said he unto me, Son of man This is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet where I would dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel to times age-abiding, - But the house of Israel must, no more defile my holy Name. They, nor their kings by their unchastity, and by the carcases of their kings in their high places,

8 de som satte sin tröskel invid min tröskel, och sin dörrpost vid sidan av min dörrpost, så att allenast muren var mellan mig och dem, och som så orenade mitt heliga namn med de styggelser de bedrevo, varför jag ock förgjorde dem i min vrede.

When they placed— Their threshold by my threshold and their door-post beside my door-post, With, only the wall, between me and them, then defiled they my holy Name by their abominations which they committed, Wherefore I devoured them in mine anger.

9 Men nu skola de skaffa sin trolösa avfällighet och sina konungars döda kroppar långt bort ifrån mig, så att jag kan bo ibland dem evinnerligen.

Now, let them remove their unchastity and the carcases of their kings far from me, - So will I make my habitation in the midst of them, to times age-abiding.

10 Men du, människobarn, förkunna nu för Israels barn om detta hus, på det att de må blygas för sina missgärningar. Må de mäta det härliga byggnadsverket.

Thou, son of man, Declare the house unto the house of Israel, That they may be put to the blush for their iniquities, - Then let them measure the pattern.

11 Om de då blygas för allt vad de hava gjort, så kungör för dem och teckna för deras ögon upp husets form och inredning, dess utgångar och ingångar, alla dess former och alla stadgar därom, alla dess former och alla lagar därom, så att de akta på hela dess form och alla stadgar därom och göra efter dem.

And when they have blushed for all that they have done, then The form of the house. And the arrangement thereof And the exits thereof. And the entrances thereof And all the forms thereof, and all the statutes thereof. And all the forms thereof and all the laws thereof, make thou known unto them, And write [it] before their eyes; That they may keep— All the forms thereof And all the statutes thereof. And do them.

12 Detta är lagen om huset: på toppen av berget skall hela dess område runt omkring vara högheligt. Ja, detta är lagen om huset.

This shall be the law of the house, — Upon the top of the mountain, all the boundary thereof round about on every side, [shall be] most holy, Lo! this, shall be the law of the house.

13 Men dessa voro måtten på altaret i alnar, var aln en handsbredd längre an en vanlig aln: Dess bottenram var en aln hög och en aln bred, och kanten på ramen, runt omkring utmed randen, var ett kvarter hög; detta var altarets underlag.

And these, shall be the measures of the altar, in cubits, a cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth; and the hollow, shall be a cubit, and a cubit the breadth, and the boundary thereof unto the edge thereof round about shall be a single span. And this, shall be the upper part of the altar,

14 Avståndet från bottenramen vid marken upp till den nedre avsatsen var två alnar, och bredden var en aln. Avståndet från den mindre avsatsen upp till den större var fyra alnar, och bredden var en aln.

And from the hollow of the ground unto the lower ledge, [shall be] two cubits, and the breadth, one cubit, - and from the smaller ledge unto the larger ledge, [shall be] four cubits, and the breadth, a cubit.

15 Altarhärden höll fyra alnar; och från altarhärden stodo de fyra hornen uppåt.

And the hearth, [shall, be] four cubits, —and from the hearth and upward, the horns [shall be] four.

16 Och altarhärden var tolv alnar lång och tolv alnar bred, så att dess fyra sidor bildade en liksidig fyrkant.

And the hearth shall be twelve cubits in length, by twelve in breadth—square in the four sides thereof.

17 Och avsatsen var fjorton alnar lång och fjorton alnar bred, utefter sina fyra sidor. Kanten runt omkring den höll en halv aln, och dess bottenram sträckte sig en aln runt omkring. Och altarets trappsteg vette åt öster.

And the ledge shall be fourteen in length, by fourteen in breadth, unto the four sides thereof, —and the boundary round about it shall be half a cubit and, the hollow thereto, a cubit round about, with, the steps thereof, looking toward the east.

18 Och han sade till mig: "Du människobarn, så säger Herren, HERREN: Dessa äro stadgarna om altaret för den dag då det bliver färdigt, så att man kan offra brännoffer och stänka blod därpå.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, These, shall be the statutes of the altar, in the day when it is made, —for offering up thereon—an ascending-sacrifice, and for dashing thereon—blood.

19 Då skall du åt de levitiska prästerna giva en ungtjur till syndoffer, åt dem som äro av Sadoks säd, och som få träda fram till mig, säger Herren, HERREN, för att göra tjänst inför mig.

So then thou shalt give unto the priests the Levites those who are of the seed of Zadok who approach unto me Declareth My Lord Yahweh. to wait upon me—a young bullock as a sin-bearer,

20 Och du skall taga något av dess blod och stryka på altarets fyra hörn och på avsatsens fyra hörn och på kanten runt omkring; så skall du rena det och bringa försoning för det.

Then shalt thou take of the blood thereof and place upon the four horns thereof and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the boundary, round about, —and shalt cleanse it from sin and put a propitiatory-covering over it.

21 Sedan skall du taga syndofferstjuren, och utanför helgedomen skall den brännas upp på en därtill bestämd plats, som hör till huset.

Then shalt thou take the bullock bearing sin, - and shalt burn it in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary,

22 Och nästa dag skall du föra fram en felfri bock till syndoffer; och man skall rena altaret med den, på samma sätt som man renade det med tjuren.

And on the second day, shalt thou bring near a kid of the goats without defect as a sin-bearer, —and they shall cleanse the altar from sin just as they cleansed it from sin with the bullock,

23 När du så har fullbordat reningen, skall du föra fram en felfri ungtjur och en felfri vädur av småboskapen.

When thou hast made an end of cleansing from sin, thou shalt bring near a young bullock without defect, and a ram out of the flock without defect;

24 Dem skall du föra fram inför HERREN, och prästerna skola strö salt på dem och offra dem såsom brännoffer åt HERREN.

and shalt bring them near before Yahweh, —and the priests shall cast over them salt, so shall they cause them to go up as an ascending-sacrifice to Yahweh.

25 Under sju dagar skall du dagligen offra en syndoffersbock; och en ungtjur och en vädur av småboskapen, båda felfria, skall man likaledes offra.

Seven days, shalt thou offer a sin-bearing goat for each day, —and a young bullock and aram out of the flock without defect, shall they offer.

26 Under sju dagar skall man sålunda bringa försoning för altaret och rena det och inviga det.

Seven days, shall they put a propitiatory covering over the altar, and shall purify it, —and shall consecrate it.

27 Men sedan dessa dagar hava gått till ända, skola prästerna på åttonde dagen och allt framgent offra på altaret edra brännoffer och tackoffer; och jag skall då hava behag till eder, säger Herren, HERREN".

When the days shall be accomplished, then shall it be on the eighth day and forward, that the priests shall offer upon the altar your ascending-sacrifices and your peace offerings. And I will accept you Declareth, My Lord Yahweh.
