5 Mosebok 29
1 Dessa äro förbundets ord, det förbunds som HERREN bjöd Mose att sluta med Israels barn i Moabs land, ett annat förbund än det som han hade slutit med dem på Horeb.
These [are] [the] words of the covenant which he commanded Yahweh Moses to make with [the] people of Israel in [the] land of Moab besides the covenant which he had made with them at Horeb.
2 Och Mose sammankallade hela Israel och sade till dem: I haven sett allt vad HERREN har gjort inför edra ögon i Egyptens land, med Farao och alla hans tjänare och hela hans land,
And he summoned Moses all Israel and he said to them you you have seen all that he did Yahweh to eyes your in [the] land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all servants his and to all land his.
3 de stora hemsökelser som du med egna ögon såg, de stora tecknen och undren.
The trials great which they saw eyes your the signs and the wonders great those.
4 Men HERREN har ännu intill denna dag icke givit eder hjärtan att förstå med, ögon att se med och öron att höra med.
And not he has given Yahweh to you a heart to know and eyes to see and ears to hear until the day this.
5 Och jag lät eder vandra i öknen i fyrtio år; edra kläder blevo icke utslitna på eder, och din sko blev icke utsliten på din fot.
And I led you forty year[s] in the wilderness not they wore out clothes your from on you and sandal your not it wore out from on foot your.
6 Bröd fingen I icke att äta, icke vin eller starka drycker att dricka, på det att I skullen veta att jag är HERREN, eder Gud.
Bread not you ate and wine and strong drink not you drank so that you may know that I [am] Yahweh God your.
7 Och när I kommen till dessa trakter, drogo Sihon, konungen i Hesbon, och Og, konungen i Basan, ut till strid mot oss, men vi slogo dem.
And you came to the place this and he came out Sihon [the] king of Heshbon and Og [the] king of Bashan to meet us for battle and we defeated them.
8 Och vi intogo deras land och gåvo det till arvedel åt rubeniterna, gaditerna och ena hälften av Manasse stam.
And we took land their and we gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s] and to [the] half of [the] tribe of the Manassite[s].
9 Så hållen nu detta förbunds ord och gören efter dem, för att I mån hava framgång i allt vad I gören.
And you will keep [the] words of the covenant this and you will do them so that you may cause to prosper all that you will do!
10 I stån i dag allasammans inför HERREN, eder Gud: edra huvudmän, edra stammar, edra äldste och edra tillsyningsmän, var man i Israel,
You [are] standing this day all of you before Yahweh God your chiefs your tribes your elders your and officials your every man of Israel.
11 så ock edra barn och hustrur, och främlingen som är hos dig i ditt läger, din vedhuggare såväl som din vattenbärare,
Little one[s] your wives your and sojourner your who [is] in [the] midst of camps your from [the] cutter of wood your unto [the] drawer of water your.
12 för att du må inträda i HERRENS, din Guds, förbund, det edsförbund som HERREN, din Gud, i dag vill sluta med dig.
To pass on you in [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and in oath his which Yahweh God your [is] making with you this day.
13 Ty han vill i dag upphöja dig, så att du skall vara hans folk och han din Gud, såsom han har sagt dig, och såsom han med ed har lovat dina fäder, Abraham, Isak och Jakob.
So as to establish you this day - of him to a people and he he will become for you God just as he spoke to you and just as he swore to ancestors your to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob.
14 Och det är icke med eder allenast som jag i dag sluter detta förbund, detta edsförbund,
And not with you to alone you I [am] making the covenant this and the oath this.
15 utan jag gör det både med dem som i dag stå här med oss inför HERREN, vår Gud, och med dem som icke äro här med oss i dag.
For with [the one] who there he here with us [is] standing this day before Yahweh God our and with [the one] who there not he here [is] with us this day.
16 I veten ju själva huru vi bodde i Egyptens land, och huru vi drogo mitt igenom de folks land, som I nu haven lämnat
For you you know this: we dwelt in [the] land of Egypt and this: we passed in [the] midst of the nations which you passed through.
17 Och I sågen deras styggelser och eländiga avgudar, de gudar av trä och sten, silver och guld, som funnos hos dem.
And you saw detestable things their and idols their wood and stone silver and gold which [were] with them.
18 Så må då bland eder icke finnas någon man eller kvinna, någon släkt eller stam vars hjärta i dag vänder sig bort ifrån HERREN, vår Gud, för att gå åstad och tjäna dessa folks gudar; bland eder må icke finnas någon rot varifrån gift och malört växer upp,
Lest there [be] among you a man or a woman or a clan or a tribe who heart his [is] turning away this day from with Yahweh God our to go to serve [the] gods of the nations those lest there [be] among you a root bearing fruit poison and wormwood.
19 så att någon som hör detta edsförbunds ord välsignar sig i sitt hjärta och tänker att det skall gå honom väl, där han vandrar i sitt hjärtas hårdhet. Ty då skall hela landet, både vått och torrt, förgås.
And it will be when hears he [the] words of the oath this and he will bless himself in heart his saying peace it will belong to me for in [the] stubbornness of heart my I walk so as to sweep away the watered [ground] with the thirsty [ground].
20 HERREN skall icke vilja förlåta honom; nej, Herrens vrede och nitälskan skall då vara såsom en rykande eld mot de männen, och all den förbannelse som är uppskriven i denna bok skall komma att vila på honom, och Herren skall så utplåna hans namn, att det icke mer skall finnas under himmelen.
Not he will be willing Yahweh to forgive him for then it will smoke [the] anger of Yahweh and jealousy his on the man that and it will lie down on him every oath that is written in the book this and he will wipe out Yahweh name his from under the heavens.
21 Och HERREN skall avskilja honom från alla Israels stammar till att drabbas av olycka, efter alla de förbannelser som äro fästa vid det förbund som är uppskrivet i denna lagbok.
And he will separate him Yahweh for harm from all [the] tribes of Israel according to all [the] oaths of the covenant that is written in [the] book of the law this.
22 Och ett kommande släkte, edra barn som uppstå efter eder, och främlingen, som kommer ifrån fjärran land, de skola säga, när de se de plågor och sjukdomar som HERREN har skickat över detta land,
And it will say the generation later children your who they will arise from after you and the foreigner who he will come from a land distant and they will see [the] plagues of the land that and diseases its which he has made sick Yahweh it.
23 när de se huru all jord där är förbränd och förvandlad till svavel och salt, så att den icke kan besås eller framalstra växter, och så att inga örter där kunna komma upp -- såsom det blev, när Sodom och Gomorra, Adma och Seboim omstörtades, då HERREN i sin vrede och harm omstörtade dem --
[is] sulfur And salt a burning waste all land its not it is sown and not it causes to grow and not it comes up in it any vegetation like [the] overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah Admah (and Zeboiim *Q(k)*) which he overthrew Yahweh in anger his and in rage his.
24 ja, alla folk skola då säga: "Varför har Herren gjort så mot detta land? Varför brinner hans vrede så starkt?"
And they will say all the nations concerning what? has he done Yahweh thus to the land this why? [is] [the] heat of the anger great this.
25 Och man skall svara: "Därför att de övergåvo HERRENS, sina fäders Guds, förbund, det som han slöt med dem, när han förde dem ut ur Egyptens land,
And people will say on that they forsook [the] covenant of Yahweh [the] God of ancestors their which he made with them when brought out he them from [the] land of Egypt.
26 och därför att de gingo åstad och tjänade andra gudar och tillbådo dem, gudar som de icke kände, och som han icke hade givit dem till deras del,
And they went and they served gods other and they bowed down to them gods which not they had known them and not he had assigned to them.
27 därför upptändes HERRENS vrede mot detta land, så att han lät komma över det all den förbannelse som är uppskriven i denna bok.
And it burned [the] anger of Yahweh on the land that to bring on it every curse that is written in the book this.
28 Ja, därför ryckte HERREN dem upp ur deras land, med vrede och harm och stor förtörnelse, och kastade dem bort till ett annat land, såsom nu har skett."
And he plucked up them Yahweh from on land their in anger and in rage and in wrath great and he threw out them to a land another as the day this.
29 Vad som ännu är fördolt hör HERREN, vår Gud, till; men vad som är uppenbarat, det gäller för oss och våra barn till evig tid, för att vi skola göra efter alla denna lags ord.
The hidden [things] [belong] to Yahweh God our and the revealed [things] [belong] to us and to descendants our until perpetuity to do all [the] words of the law this.
