2 Krönikeboken 7

1 När Salomo hade slutat sin bön, kom eld ned från himmelen och förtärde brännoffret och slaktoffren, och HERRENS härlighet uppfyllde huset.

and like/as to end: finish Solomon to/for to pray and [the] fire to go down from [the] heaven and to eat [the] burnt offering and [the] sacrifice and glory LORD to fill [obj] [the] house: home

2 Och prästerna kunde icke gå in i HERRENS hus, eftersom HERRENS härlighet uppfyllde HERRENS hus.

and not be able [the] priest to/for to come (in): come to(wards) house: temple LORD for to fill glory LORD [obj] house: temple LORD

3 Då nu alla Israels barn sågo huru elden kom ned, och sågo HERRENS härlighet över huset, föllo de ned på den stenlagda gården, med ansiktena mot jorden, och tillbådo HERREN och tackade honom, därför att han är god, och därför att hans nåd varar evinnerligen.

4 Och konungen och allt folket offrade slaktoffer inför HERRENS ansikte.

and [the] king and all [the] people to sacrifice sacrifice to/for face: before LORD

5 Konung Salomo offrade såsom slaktoffer tjugutvå tusen tjurar och ett hundra tjugu tusen av småboskapen. Så invigdes Guds hus av konungen och allt folket.

and to sacrifice [the] king Solomon [obj] sacrifice [the] cattle twenty and two thousand and flock hundred and twenty thousand and to dedicate [obj] house: temple [the] God [the] king and all [the] people

6 Och prästerna stodo där i sina tjänstförrättningar, och leviterna stodo med HERRENS musikinstrumenter, som konung David hade låtit göra, för att de med dem skulle tacka HERREN, därför att hans nåd varar evinnerligen; David lät nämligen dem utföra lovsången. Men prästerna stodo mitt emot dem och blåste i trumpeter, medan hela Israel förblev stående.

7 Och Salomo helgade den mellersta delen av förgården framför HERRENS hus; ty där offrade han brännoffren och fettstyckena av tackoffret eftersom kopparaltaret som Salomo hade låtit göra icke kunde rymma brännoffret, spisoffret och fettstyckena.

and to consecrate: consecate Solomon [obj] midst [the] court which to/for face: before house: temple LORD for to make: offer there [the] burnt offering and [obj] fat [the] peace offering for altar [the] bronze which to make Solomon not be able to/for to sustain [obj] [the] burnt offering and [obj] [the] offering and [obj] [the] fat

8 Tid detta tillfälle firade Salomo högtiden i sju dagar, och med honom hela Israel, en mycket stor församling ifrån hela landet, allt ifrån det ställe där vägen går till Hamat ända till Egyptens bäck.

9 Och på åttonde dagen höllo de högtidsförsamling. Ty altarets invigning firade de i sju dagar och högtiden i sju dagar.

and to make: do in/on/with day [the] eighth assembly for dedication [the] altar to make: do seven day and [the] feast seven day

10 Men på tjugutredje dagen i sjunde månaden lät han folket gå hem till sina hyddor; och de voro fulla av glädje och fröjd över det goda som HERREN hade gjort mot David och Salomo och mot sitt folk Israel.

11 Så fullbordade Salomo HERRENS hus och konungshuset; och allt vad Salomo hade haft i sinnet att utföra i HERRENS hus och i sitt eget hus hade lyckats honom väl.

and to end: finish Solomon [obj] house: temple LORD and [obj] house: home [the] king and [obj] all [the] to come (in): come upon heart Solomon to/for to make: do in/on/with house: temple LORD and in/on/with house: home his to prosper

12 Och HERREN uppenbarade sig för Salomo om natten och sade till honom: "Jag har hört din bön och utvalt denna plats åt mig till offerplats.

and to see: see LORD to(wards) Solomon in/on/with night and to say to/for him to hear: hear [obj] prayer your and to choose in/on/with place [the] this to/for me to/for house: home sacrifice

13 Om jag tillsluter himmelen, så att regn icke faller, om jag bjuder gräshoppor att fördärva landet, eller om jag sänder pest bland mitt folk,

look! to restrain [the] heaven and not to be rain and look! to command upon locust to/for to eat [the] land: country/planet and if to send: depart pestilence in/on/with people my

14 men mitt folk, det som är uppkallat efter mitt namn, då ödmjukar sig och beder och söker mitt ansikte och omvänder sig från sina onda vägar, så vill jag höra det från himmelen och förlåta deras synd och skaffa bot åt deras land.

and be humble people my which to call: call by name my upon them and to pray and to seek face my and to return: repent from way: conduct their [the] bad: evil and I to hear: hear from [the] heaven and to forgive to/for sin their and to heal [obj] land: country/planet their

15 Så skola nu mina ögon vara öppna och mina öron akta på vad som bedes på denna plats.

now eye my to be to open and ear my attentive to/for prayer [the] place [the] this

16 Och nu har jag utvalt och helgat detta hus, för att mitt namn skall vara där till evig tid. Och mina ögon och mitt hjärta skola vara där alltid.

and now to choose and to consecrate: consecate [obj] [the] house: home [the] this to/for to be name my there till forever: enduring and to be eye my and heart my there all [the] day

17 Om du nu vandrar inför mig, såsom din fader David vandrade, så att du gör allt vad jag har bjudit dig och håller mina stadgar och rätter,

and you(m. s.) if to go: walk to/for face: before my like/as as which to go: walk David father your and to/for to make: do like/as all which to command you and statute: decree my and justice: judgement my to keep: obey

18 då skall jag upprätthålla din konungatron, såsom jag lovade din fader David, när jag sade: 'Aldrig skall den tid komma, då en avkomling av dig icke råder över Israel.'

and to arise: establish [obj] throne royalty your like/as as which to cut: lack to/for David father your to/for to say not to cut: lack to/for you man to rule in/on/with Israel

19 Men om I vänden om och övergiven de stadgar och bud som jag har förelagt eder, och gån bort och tjänen andra gudar och tillbedjen dem,

and if to return: turn back [emph?] you(m. p.) and to leave: forsake statute my and commandment my which to give: put to/for face: before your and to go: went and to serve: minister God another and to bow to/for them

20 då skall jag rycka upp dem som så göra ur mitt land, det som jag har givit dem; och detta hus som jag har helgat åt mitt namn skall jag förkasta ifrån mitt ansikte; och jag skall göra det till ett ordspråk och en visa bland alla folk.

and to uproot them from upon land: soil my which to give: give to/for them and [obj] [the] house: home [the] this which to consecrate: consecate to/for name my to throw from upon face: before my and to give: make him to/for proverb and to/for taunt in/on/with all [the] people

21 Och över detta hus, som har varit så upphöjt, skall då var och en som går därförbi bliva häpen. Och när någon frågar: 'Varför har HERREN gjort så mot detta land och detta hus?',

and [the] house: home [the] this which to be high to/for all to pass upon him be desolate: appalled and to say in/on/with what? to make: do LORD thus to/for land: country/planet [the] this and to/for house: home [the] this

22 då skall man svara: 'Därför att de övergåvo HERREN, sina fäders Gud, som hade fört dem ut ur Egyptens land, och höllo sig till andra gudar och tillbådo dem och tjänade dem, därför har han låtit allt detta onda komma över dem.'"
