1 Men på sitt eget hus byggde Salomo i tretton år, innan han fick hela sitt hus färdigt.
Bvt Salomon was building his owne house thirteene yeeres, and finished all his house.
2 Han byggde Libanonskogshuset, hundra alnar långt, femtio alnar brett och trettio alnar högt, med fyra rader pelare av cederträ och med huggna bjälkar av cederträ ovanpå pelarna.
He built also an house called the forest of Lebanon, an hundreth cubites long, and fiftie cubites broad, and thirtie cubites hie, vpon foure rowes of cedar pillars, and cedar beames were layed vpon the pillars.
3 Det hade ock ett tak av cederträ över sidokamrarna, vilka vilade på pelarna, som tillsammans voro fyrtiofem, femton i var rad.
And it was couered aboue with cedar vpon the beames, that lay on the fourtie and fiue pillars, fifteene in a rowe.
4 Och det hade bjälklag i tre rader; och fönsteröppningarna sutto mitt emot varandra i tre omgångar.
And the windowes were in three rowes, and windowe was against windowe in three rankes.
5 Alla dörröppningar och dörrposter voro fyrkantiga, av bjälkar; och fönsteröppningarna sutto alldeles mitt emot varandra i tre omgångar.
And all the doores, and the side postes with the windowes were foure square, and windowe was ouer against windowe in three rankes.
6 Vidare gjorde han pelarförhuset, femtio alnar långt och trettio alnar brett, och framför detta också ett förhus med pelare, och med ett trapphus framför dessa.
And he made a porche of pillars fiftie cubites long, and thirtie cubites broade, and the porch was before them, euen before them were thirtie pillars.
7 Och han gjorde tronförhuset, där han skulle skipa rätt, domsförhuset; det var belagt med cederträ från golv till tak.
Then he made a porch for the throne, where he iudged, euen a porch of iudgement, and it was sieled with cedar from pauement to pauement.
8 Och hans eget hus, där han själv skulle bo, på den andra gården, innanför förhuset, var byggt på samma sätt. Salomo byggde ock ett hus, likadant som detta förhus, åt Faraos dotter, som han hade tagit till hustru.
And in his house, where he dwelt, was an other hall more inwarde then the porche which was of the same worke. Also Salomon made an house for Pharaohs daughter (whom he had taken to wife) like vnto this porche.
9 Allt detta var av dyrbara stenar, avmätta såsom byggnadsblock och sågade med såg invändigt och utvändigt, alltsammans, ända ifrån grunden upp till taklisterna; och likaså allt därutanför, ända till den stora förgårdsmuren.
All these were of costly stones, hewed by measure, and sawed with sawes within and without, from the foundation vnto the stones of an hand breadth, and on the outside to the great court.
10 Och grunden var lagd med dyrbara och stora stenar, stenar av tio alnars längd och av åtta alnars längd.
And the foundation was of costly stones, and great stones, euen of stones of ten cubites, and stones of eight cubites.
11 Därovanpå lågo dyrbara stenar, avmätta såsom byggnadsblock, ävensom cederbjälkar.
Aboue also were costly stones, squared by rule, and boardes of cedar.
12 Och den stora förgårdsmuren där runt omkring var uppförd av tre varv huggna stenar och ett varv huggna bjälkar av cederträ. Så var det ock med den inre förgårdsmuren till HERRENS hus, så jämväl med husets förhus.
And the great court round about was with three rowes of hewed stones, and a rowe of cedar beames: so was it to ye inner court of the house of the Lord, and to the porche of the house.
13 Och konung Salomo sände och lät hämta Hiram från Tyrus.
Then King Salomon sent, and set one Hiram out of Tyrus.
14 Denne var son till en änka av Naftali stam, och hans fader var en tyrisk man, en kopparsmed; han hade konstskicklighet och förstånd och kunskap i fullt mått till att utföra alla slags arbeten av koppar. Han kom nu till konung Salomo och utförde alla hans arbeten.
He was a widowes sonne of the tribe of Naphtali, his father being a man of Tyrus, and wrought in brasse: he was full of wisedome, and vnderstanding, and knowledge to worke all maner of worke in brasse: who came to King Salomon, and wrought all his worke.
15 Han förfärdigade de båda pelarna av koppar. Aderton alnar hög var den ena pelaren, och en tolv alnar lång tråd mätte omfånget av den andra pelaren.
For he cast two pillars of brasse: ye height of a pillar was eighteene cubites, and a threede of twelue cubites did compasse either of ye pillars.
16 Han gjorde ock två pelarhuvuden, gjutna av koppar, till att sätta ovanpå pelarna; vart pelarhuvud var fem alnar högt.
And he made two chapiters of molten brasse to set on the tops of the pillars: the height of one of the chapiters was fiue cubites, and the height of the other chapiter was fiue cubites.
17 Nätlika utsirningar, som bildade ett nätverk, hängprydnader i form av kedjor funnos på pelarhuvudena som sutto ovanpå pelarna, sju på vart pelarhuvud.
He made grates like networke, and wrethen worke like chaynes for the chapiters that were on the top of the pillars, euen seuen for the one chapiter, and seuen for the other chapiter.
18 Och han gjorde pelarna så, att två rader gingo runt omkring över det ena av de nätverk som tjänade till att betäcka pelarhuvudena, vilka höjde sig över granatäpplena; och likadant gjorde han på det andra pelarhuvudet.
So he made the pillars and two rowes of pomegranates round about in the one grate to couer the chapiters that were vpon the top. And thus did he for the other chapiter.
19 Och pelarhuvudena som sutto ovanpå pelarna inne i förhuset voro utformade till liljor, och mätte fyra alnar.
And the chapiters that were on the toppe of the pillars were after lilye worke in ye porch, foure cubites.
20 På båda pelarna funnos pelarhuvuden, också ovantill invid den bukformiga delen inemot nätverket. Och granatäpplena voro två hundra, i rader runt omkring, över det andra pelarhuvudet.
And the chapiters vpon the two pillars had also aboue, ouer against the belly within the networke pomegranates: for two hudreth pomegranates were in the two rankes about vpon either of the chapiters.
21 Pelarna ställde han upp vid förhuset till tempelsalen. Åt den pelare han ställde upp på högra sidan gav han namnet Jakin, och åt den han ställde upp på vänstra sidan gav han namnet Boas.
And he set vp the pillars in the porche of the Temple. And when hee had set vp the right pillar, he called the name thereof Iachin: and when he had set vp the left pillar, he called the name thereof Boaz.
22 Överst voro pelarna utformade till liljor. Så blev då arbetet med pelarna fullbordat.
And vpon the top of the pillars was worke of lilyes: so was the workemanship of the pillars finished.
23 Han gjorde ock havet, i gjutet arbete. Det var tio alnar från den ena kanten till den andra, runt allt omkring, och fem alnar högt; och ett trettio alnar långt snöre mätte dess omfång.
And he made a molten sea ten cubites wide from brim to brim, rounde in compasse, and fiue cubites hie, and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it about.
24 Och under kanten voro gurklika sirater, som omgåvo det runt omkring -- tio alnar brett som det var -- så att de gingo runt omkring havet. De gurklika siraterna sutto i två rader, och de voro gjutna i ett stycke med det övriga.
And vnder the brimme of it were knoppes like wilde cucumers compassing it round about, ten in one cubite, compassing the sea round about: and the two rowes of knoppes were cast, when it was molten.
25 Det stod på tolv oxar, tre vända mot norr, tre vända mot väster, tre vända mot söder och tre vända mot öster; havet stod ovanpå dessa, och deras bakdelar voro alla vända inåt.
It stoode on twelue bulles, three looking towarde the North, and three toward the West, and three toward the South, and three towarde the East: and the sea stoode aboue vpon them, and all their hinder partes were inward.
26 Dess tjocklek var en handsbredd; och dess kant var gjord såsom kanten på en bägare, i form av en utslagen lilja. Det rymde två tusen bat.
It was an hand bredth thicke, and the brim thereof was like the worke of the brim of a cup with floures of lilyes: it contained two thousad Baths.
27 Vidare gjorde han de tio bäckenställen, av koppar. Vart ställ var fyra alnar långt, fyra alnar brett och tre alnar högt.
And he made tenne bases of brasse, one base was foure cubites long, and foure cubites broad, and three cubites hie.
28 Och på följande sätt voro dessa ställ gjorda. De voro försedda med sidolister, vilka sidolister hade sin plats mellan hörnlisterna.
And the worke of the bases was on this maner, They had borders, and the borders were betweene the ledges:
29 På dessa sidolister mellan hörnlisterna funnos avbildade lejon, tjurar och keruber, och likaså på hörnlisterna upptill. Under lejonen och tjurarna sutto nedhängande blomsterslingor.
And on the borders that were betweene the ledges, were lyons, bulles and Cherubims: and vpon the ledges there was a base aboue: and beneath the lyons and bulles, were addicions made of thinne worke.
30 Vart ställ hade fyra hjul av koppar med axlar av koppar; och dess fyra fötter voro försedda med bärarmar. Dessa bärarmar voro gjutna till att sitta under bäckenet, och mitt för var och en sutto blomsterslingor.
And euery base had foure brasen wheeles, and plates of brasse: and the foure corners had vndersetters: vnder the caldron were vndersetters molten at the side of euery addicion.
31 Sin öppning hade det inom kransstycket, som höjde sig en aln uppåt. öppningen i detta var rund; det var så gjort, att det kunde tjäna såsom underlag, och det mätte en och en halv aln. Också på dess öppning funnos utsirningar. Men sidolisterna därtill voro fyrkantiga, icke runda.
And the mouth of it was within the chapiter and aboue to measure by the cubite: for the mouth thereof was round made like a base, and it was a cubite and halfe a cubite: and also vpon the mouth thereof were grauen workes, whose borders were foure square, and not round.
32 De fyra hjulen sutto under sidolisterna, och hjulens hållare voro fästa vid bäckenstället. Vart hjul mätte en och en halv aln.
And vnder the borders were foure wheeles, and the axeltrees of the wheeles ioyned to the base: and the height of a wheele was a cubite and halfe a cubite.
33 Hjulen voro gjorda såsom vagnshjul; och deras hållare, deras ringar, deras ekrar och deras navar voro allasammans gjutna.
And the facion of the wheeles was like the facion of a charet wheele, their axeltrees, and their naues and their felloes, and their spokes were all molten.
34 Fyra bärarmar funnos på vart ställ, i de fyra hörnen; bärarmarna voro gjorda i ett stycke med sitt ställ.
And foure vndersetters were vpon the foure corners of one base: and the vndersetters thereof were of the base it selfe.
35 Överst på vart ställ var en helt och hållet rund uppsats, en halv aln hög; och ovantill på vart ställ sutto dess hållare, så ock dess sidolister gjorda i ett stycke därmed.
And in the toppe of the base was a rounde compasse of halfe a cubite hie round about: and vpon the toppe of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.
36 Och på hållarnas ytor och på sidolisterna inristade han keruber, lejon och palmer, alltefter som utrymme fanns på var och en, så ock blomsterslingor runt omkring.
And vpon the tables of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof he did graue Cherubims, lions and palmetrees, on the side of euery one, and addicions round about.
37 På detta sätt gjorde han de tio bäckenställen; de voro alla gjutna på samma sätt och hade samma mått och samma form
Thus made he the tenne bases, They had all one casting, one measure, and one syse.
38 Han gjorde ock tio bäcken, av koppar. Fyrtio bat rymde vart bäcken, och vart bäcken mätte fyra alnar; till vart och ett av de tio bäckenställen gjordes ett bäcken.
Then made he ten caldrons of brasse, one caldron conteyned fourty Baths: and euery caldron was foure cubites, one caldron was vpon one base throughout the ten bases.
39 Och han ställde fem av bäckenställen på högra sidan om huset och fem på vänstra sidan om huset. Och havet ställde han på högra sidan om huset, åt sydost.
And he set the bases, fiue on the right side of the house, and fiue on the left side of the house. And he set the sea on the right side of the house Eastward toward the South.
40 Hirom gjorde dessa bäcken, så ock skovlarna och skålarna. Så förde Hiram allt det arbete till slut, som han fick utföra åt konung Salomo för HERRENS hus:
And Hiram made caldrons, and besomes, and basens, and Hiram finished all the worke that he made to King Salomon for the house of ye Lord:
41 nämligen två pelare, och de två klotformiga pelarhuvuden som sutto ovanpå pelarna, och de två nätverk som skulle betäcka de båda klotformiga pelarhuvuden som sutto ovanpå pelarna,
To wit, two pillars and two bowles of the chapiters that were on the toppe of the two pillars, and two grates to couer the two bowles of the chapiters which were vpon the toppe of the pillars,
42 därjämte de fyra hundra granatäpplena till de båda nätverken, två rader granatäpplen till vart nätverk, för att de båda klotformiga pelarhuvuden som sutto uppe på pelarna så skulle bliva betäckta,
And foure hundreth pomegranates for the two grates, euen two rowes of pomegranates for euery grate to couer the two bowles of the chapiters, that were vpon the pillars,
43 Vidare de tio bäckenställen och de tio bäckenen på bäckenställen,
And the ten bases, and ten caldrons vpon the bases,
44 så ock havet, som var allenast ett, och de tolv oxarna under havet,
And the sea, and twelue bulles vnder that sea,
45 vidare askkärlen, skovlarna och skålarna, korteligen, alla redan nämnda föremål som Hiram gjorde åt konung Salomo för HERRENS hus. Allt var av polerad koppar.
And pottes, and besomes and basens: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to King Salomon for the house of the Lord, were of shining brasse.
46 På Jordanslätten lät konungen gjuta det i lerformar, mellan Suckot och Saretan.
In the plaine of Iorden did the King cast them in clay betweene Succoth and Zarthan.
47 Och för den övermåttan stora myckenhetens skull lämnade Salomo alla föremålen ovägda, så att kopparens vikt icke blev utrönt.
And Salomon left to weigh all the vessels because of the exceeding aboundance, neyther could the weight of the brasse be counted.
48 Salomo gjorde ock alla övriga föremål som skulle finnas i HERRENS hus: det gyllene altaret, det gyllene bordet som skådebröden skulle ligga på,
So Salomon made all the vessels that perteyned vnto the house of the Lord, the golden altar, and the golden table, whereon the shewbread was,
49 så ock ljusstakarna, fem på högra sidan och fem på vänstra framför koret, av fint guld, med blomverket, lamporna och lamptängerna av guld,
And the candlestickes, fiue at the right side, and fiue at the left, before the oracle of pure gold, and the flowres, and the lampes, and the snuffers of golde,
50 vidare faten, knivarna, de båda slagen av skålar och fyrfaten, av fint guld, äntligen de gyllene gångjärnen till de dörrar som ledde till det innersta av huset, det allraheligaste, och till de dörrar i huset, som ledde till tempelsalen.
And the bowles, and the hookes, and the basens, and the spoones, and the ashpannes of pure golde, and the hinges of golde for the doores of the house within, euen for the most holy place, and for the doores of the house, to wit, of the Temple.
51 Sedan allt det arbete som konung Salomo lät utföra på HERRENS hus var färdigt, förde Salomo ditin vad hans fader David hade helgat åt HERREN: silvret, guldet och kärlen; detta lade han in i skattkamrarna i HERRENS hus.
So was finished all the worke that King Salomon made for the house of the Lord, and Salomon brought in the things which Dauid his father had dedicated: the siluer and the golde and the vessels, and layed them among the treasures of the house of the Lord.
