1 En sång, en psalm av Asaf.
A song a psalm of Asaph. O God [let] not silence [belong] to you may not you be silent and may not you be inactive O God.
2 Gud, var icke så tyst, tig icke och var icke så stilla, o Gud.
For here! enemies your they are in an uproar! and [those who] hate you they have lifted a head.
3 Ty se, dina fiender larma, och de som hata dig resa upp huvudet.
On people your they make crafty counsel so they may consult together on treasured [ones] your.
4 Mot ditt folk förehava de listiga anslag och rådslå mot dem som du beskyddar.
They have said come and let us annihilate them from a nation and not it will be remembered [the] name of Israel again.
5 De säga: »Kom, låt oss utrota dem, så att de ej mer äro ett folk, och så att ingen mer tänker på Israels namn.»
For they have consulted heart together on you a covenant they are making.
6 Ty endräktigt rådslå dem med varandra, de sluta mot dig ett förbund:
[the] tents of Edom and [the] Ishmaelites Moab and [the] Hagrites.
7 Edoms tält och ismaeliterna, Moab och hagariterna,
Gebal and Ammon and Amalek Philistia with [the] inhabitants of Tyre.
8 Gebal och Ammon och Amalek, filistéerna tillika med dem som bo i Tyrus;
Also Assyria it has joined itself with them they have become an arm for [the] children of Lot (Selah)

Do to them like Midian like Sisera like Jabin at [the] wadi of Kishon.
10 Gör med dem såsom du gjorde med Midjan, såsom med Sisera och Jabin vid Kisons bäck,

Make them noble [people] their like Oreb and like Zeeb and like Zebah and like Zalmunna all princes their.

Who they said let us take possession of for ourselves [the] pastures of God.

O God my make them like whirling dust like chaff before a wind.

So you will pursue them with storm your and with storm-wind your you will terrify them.

Fill faces their shame so they may seek name your O Yahweh.
17 Gör deras ansikten fulla med skam, så att de söka ditt namn, o HERRE.
May they be ashamed and they may be dismayed until perpetuity and may they be abashed and they may perish.
18 Ja, må de komma på skam och förskräckas till evig tid, må de få blygas och förgås. Och må de förnimma att du allena bär namnet »HERREN», den Högste över hela jorden.
And they may know that you name your [is] Yahweh to alone you [the] Most High over all the earth.
