1 Halleluja! Loven HERRENS namn, loven det, i HERRENS tjänare,
Alleluya. Herie ye the name of the Lord; ye seruauntis of the Lord, herie ye.
2 I som stån i HERRENS hus, i gårdarna till vår Guds hus.
Ye that stonden in the hous of the Lord; in the hallis of `the hous of oure God.
3 Loven HERREN, ty HERREN är god, lovsjungen hans namn, ty det är ljuvligt.
Herie ye the Lord, for the Lord is good; singe ye to his name, for it is swete.
4 Se, HERREN har utvalt Jakob åt sig, Israel till sin egendom.
For the Lord chees Jacob to him silf; Israel in to possessioun to him silf.
5 Ty jag vet att HERREN är stor, att vår Herre är förmer än alla gudar.
For Y haue knowe, that the Lord is greet; and oure God bifore alle goddis.
6 HERREN kan göra allt vad han vill, i himmelen och på jorden, i haven och i alla djup;
The Lord made alle thingis, what euere thingis he wolde, in heuene and in erthe; in the see, and in alle depthis of watris.
7 han som låter regnskyar stiga upp från jordens ända, han som låter ljungeldar komma med regn och för vinden ut ur dess förvaringsrum;
He ledde out cloudis fro the ferthest part of erthe; and made leitis in to reyn. Which bringith forth wyndis fro hise tresours;
8 han som slog de förstfödda i Egypten, både människor och boskap;
which killide the firste gendrid thingis of Egipt, fro man `til to beeste.
9 han som sände tecken och under över dig, Egypten, över Farao och alla hans tjänare;
He sente out signes and grete wondris, in the myddil of thee, thou Egipt; in to Farao and in to alle hise seruauntis.
10 han som slog stora folk och dräpte mäktiga konungar:
Which smoot many folkis; and killide stronge kingis.
11 Sihon, amoréernas konung, och Og, konungen i Basan, med alla Kanaans riken,
Seon, the king of Ammorreis, and Og, the king of Basan; and alle the rewmes of Chanaan.
12 och gav deras land till arvedel, till arvedel åt sitt folk Israel.
And he yaf the lond of hem eritage; eritage to Israel, his puple.
13 HERRE, ditt namn varar evinnerligen, HERRE, din åminnelse från släkte till släkte.
Lord, thi name is with outen ende; Lord, thi memorial be in generacioun and in to generacioun.
14 Ty HERREN skaffar rätt åt sitt folk, och över sina tjänare förbarmar han sig.
For the Lord schal deme his puple; and he schal be preied in hise seruauntis.
15 Hedningarnas avgudar äro silver och guld, verk av människohänder.

16 De hava mun och tala icke, de hava ögon och se icke,
Tho han a mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.
17 de hava öron och lyssna icke till, och ingen ande är i deras mun.
Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; for `nether spirit is in the mouth of tho.
18 De som hava gjort dem skola bliva dem lika, ja, alla som förtrösta på dem.
Thei that maken tho, be maad lijk tho; and alle that tristen in tho.
19 I av Israels hus, loven HERREN; I av Arons hus, loven HERREN;
The hous of Israel, blesse ye the Lord; the hous of Aaron, blesse ye the Lord.
20 I av Levis hus, loven HERREN; I som frukten HERREN, loven HERREN.
The hous of Leuy, blesse ye the Lord; ye that dreden the Lord, `blesse ye the Lord.
21 Lovad vare HERREN från Sion, han som bor i Jerusalem! Halleluja! Se Frukta Gud i Ordförkl.
