Josua 15

1 Juda barns stam fick, efter sina släkter, sin lott söderut intill Edoms gräns, intill öknen Sin, längst ned i söder.

And it was the lot of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to clans their to [the] border of Edom [the] wilderness of Zin [the] south towards from [the] end of [the] south.

2 Och deras södra gräns begynte vid ändan av Salthavet, vid dess sydligaste vik,

And it was to them border of [the] south from [the] end of [the] Sea of Salt from the bay which faces [the] south towards.

3 gick vidare söder om Skorpionhöjden och fram till Sin, drog sig så upp söder om Kades-Barnea, gick därefter framom Hesron och drog sig upp till Addar samt böjde sig sedan mot Karka.

And it goes out to from [the] south of [the] ascent of scorpions and it passes on Zin towards and it goes up from [the] south of Kadesh Barnea and it passes on Hezron and it goes up Addar towards and it turns Karka towards.

4 Vidare gick den fram till Asmon och därifrån ut till Egyptens bäck; sedan gick gränsen ut vid havet. »Detta», sade han, »skall vara eder gräns i söder.»

And it passes on Azmon towards and it goes out [the] wadi of Egypt (and they are *Q(K)*) ([the] extremities of *LAH(b)*) the territory west-ward this it will be of you border of [the] south.

5 Gränsen i öster var Salthavet ända till Jordans utlopp. Och gränsen på norra sidan begynte vid den vik av detta hav, där Jordan har sitt utlopp.

And [the] border east-ward [is] [the] Sea of Salt to [the] end of the Jordan and [the] border of [the] side of north-ward [is] from [the] bay of the sea from [the] end of the Jordan.

6 Därifrån drog sig gränsen upp mot Bet-Hogla och gick fram norr om Bet-Haaraba; vidare drog sig gränsen upp till Bohans, Rubens sons, sten.

And it goes up the border Beth Hoglah and it passes on from [the] north of Beth Arabah and it goes up the border [the] stone of Bohan [the] son of Reuben.

7 Därefter drog sig gränsen upp till Debir från Akors dal i nordlig riktning mot det Gilgal som ligger mitt emot Adummimshöjden, söder om bäcken; sedan gick gränsen fram till Semeskällans vatten och så ut till Rogelskällan.

And it goes up the border - Debir towards from [the] valley of Achor and north-ward [it is] turning to Gilgal which [is] opposite to [the] ascent of Adummim which [is] from [the] south of the wadi and it passes on the border to [the] waters of En Shemesh and they are extremities its to En Rogel.

8 Vidare drog sig gränsen uppåt Hinnoms sons dal, söder om Jebus' höjd, det är Jerusalem; därefter drog sig gränsen upp till toppen av det berg som ligger gent emot Hinnomsdalen, västerut, i norra ändan av Refaimsdalen.

And it goes up the border [the] valley of Ben Hinnom to [the] slope of the Jebusite[s] from [the] south that [is] Jerusalem and it goes up the border to [the] top of the mountain which [is] on [the] face of [the] valley of [Ben] Hinnom west-ward which [is] at [the] end of [the] valley of [the] Rephaites north-ward.

9 Och från toppen av detta berg drog sig gränsen fram till Neftoavattnets källa och vidare till städerna i Efrons bergsbygd; sedan drog sig gränsen till Baala, det är Kirjat-Jearim.

And it turns the border from [the] top of the mountain to [the] spring of [the] waters of Nephtoah and it goes out to [the] cities of [the] mountain of Ephron and it turns the border Baalah that [is] Kiriath Jearim.

10 Och från Baala böjde sig gränsen åt väster mot Seirs bergsbygd och gick fram till Jearims bergshöjd, det är Kesalon, norr om denna, och gick så ned till Bet-Semes och framom Timna.

And it turns the border from Baalah west-ward to [the] mountain of Seir and it passes on to [the] slope of [the] mountain of Jearim from north-ward that [is] Kesalon and it goes down Beth Shemesh and it passes on Timnah.

11 Vidare gick gränsen till Ekrons höjd, norrut; därefter drog sig gränsen till Sickeron, gick så framom berget Baala och därifrån ut till Jabneel; sedan gick gränsen ut vid havet.

And it goes out the border to [the] slope of Ekron north-ward and it turns the border Shikkeron towards and it passes on [the] mountain of Baalah and it goes out Jabneel and they are [the] extremities of the territory west-ward.

12 Och gränsen i väster följde Stora havet; det utgjorde gränsen. Dessa voro Juda barns gränser runt omkring, efter deras släkter.

And [the] border of [the] west [is] the sea towards great and territory this [is] [the] border of [the] descendants of Judah around to clans their.

13 Men åt Kaleb, Jefunnes son, gavs, efter HERRENS befallning till Josua, en särskild del bland Juda barn, nämligen Arbas, Anaks faders, stad, det är Hebron.

And to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh someone gave a portion in among [the] descendants of Judah to [the] mouth of Yahweh to Joshua Kiriath Arba [the] father of Anak that [is] Hebron.

And he went up from there against [the] inhabitants of Debir and [the] name of Debir before [was] Kiriath Sepher.

18 Och när hon kom till honom, intalade hon honom att begära ett stycke åkermark av hennes fader; och hon steg hastigt ned från åsnan. Då sade Kaleb till henne: »Vad önskar du?»

And it was when came she and she incited him to ask from with father her a field and she went down from on the donkey and he said to her Caleb what? [is] to you.

19 Hon sade: »Giv mig en avskedsskänk; eftersom du har gift bort mig till det torra Sydlandet, må du giva mig vattenkällor.» Då gav han henne Illiotkällorna och Tatiotkällorna.

And she said give! to me a blessing for [the] land of the Negev you have given to me and you will give to me springs of water and he gave to her springs upper and springs lower.
