Sakaria 7
1 Och det skedde i fjerde lirena Konungs Darios, att Herrans ord skedde till ZacharIa, på fjerde dagen af nionde månadenom, den Chislev heter;
And it came to pass, in the fourth year of King Darius, that the word of Jehovah came to Zechariah, on the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;
2 Då SarEzer och RegemMelech, samt med deras män, sände till BethEl, till att bedja inför Herranom;
when they had sent to the house of God Sherezer and Regem-melech, and their men, to pray before Jehovah,
3 Och läto säga Prestomen, som voro omkring Herrans Zebaoths hus, och till Propheterna: Skall jag ock ännu gråta i femte månadenom, och tvinga mig, såsom jag nu i några år gjort hafver?
and to speak to the priests that were in the house of Jehovah of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, “Shall I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?”
4 Och Herrans Zebaoths ord skedde till mig, och sade:
Then came the word of Jehovah of hosts to me, saying,
5 Tala till allt folket i landena, och till Presterna, och säg: Då I fastaden, och jämraden eder, i femte och sjunde månadenom, i dessa sjutio år. Hafven I då fastat mig?
Speak to all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth month and in the seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast for me, even for me?
6 Eller då I åten och drucken, hafven I icke ätit och druckit för eder sjelf?
And when ye eat and drink, is it not ye that eat, and ye that drink?
7 Är icke detta, som Herren predika lät genom de förra Propheter; då Jerusalem ännu besuttet var, och hade nog, samt med sina städer omkring, och då der folk bodde, både söderut och i dalomen?
Are not these the words which Jehovah proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and her cities round about her, and when the South and the Plain were inhabited?
8 Och Herrans ord skedde till ZacharIa och sade:
And the word of Jehovah came to Zechariah, saying,
9 Så säger Herren Zebaoth: Dömer rätt och hvar och en bevise godhet och barmhertighet uppå sin broder.
Thus spake Jehovah of hosts, saying, Judge true judgment, and show mercy and compassion every man to his brother.
10 Och görer icke enkom, faderlösom, främlingom och fattigom, orätt; och ingen tänke något ondt emot sin broder i sitt hjerta.
And the widow, and the orphan, and the stranger, and the poor, oppress not, and meditate not evil against one another in your heart.
11 Men de ville intet akta deruppå och vände ryggen till mig, och förstockade sin öron, att de icke höra skulle;
But they refused to hearken, and showed a refractory shoulder, and made their ears dull, that they might not hear;
12 Och gjorde sin hjerta lika som en diamant, att de icke skulle höra lagen och orden, som Herren Zebaoth, i sinom Anda, sände genom de förra Propheter; derföre sådana stor vrede af Herranom Zebaoth kommen är;
yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, that they might not hear the law, and the words which Jehovah of hosts sent through his spirit by the former prophets. Therefore came great anger from Jehovah of hosts.
13 Och det år så skedt, som predikadt vardt, och de ville intet hörat; så ville jag ock intet hörat, då de ropade, säger Herren Zebaoth.
And as he called and they would not hear, so they called and I would not hear, saith Jehovah of hosts.
14 Alltså hafver jag förstrött dem ibland alla Hedningar, hvilka de intet känna; och landet är efter dem öde blifvet, så att der ingen uti vandrar eller bor; och det ädla landet är till ett öde gjordt.
And I scattered them as with a whirlwind among all the nations, which they knew not. And the land was desolate after them, so that no man passed through, nor returned; and thus the beautiful land was made a desolation.
