Psaltaren 75

1 En Psalm och visa Assaphs, att han icke förgicks, till att föresjunga. Vi tacke dig, Gud, vi tacke dig, och förkunne din under, att ditt Namn så när är.

To the choirmaster al-tashcheth a psalm of Asaph a song. We give thanks to you - O God we give thanks and [is] near name your people recount wonders your.

2 Ty i sinom tid skall jag rätt döma.

If I will take an appointed time I uprightness I will judge.

3 Jorden bäfvar, och alle de derpå bo; men jag håller hennes pelare stadiga. (Sela)

[are] melting away [the] earth And all inhabitants its I I put in order pillars its (Selah)

4 Jag sade till de stortaliga: Berömmer eder icke så; och till de ogudaktiga: Trugens icke uppå välde;

I say to the boasters may not you boast and to the wicked [people] may not you lift up a horn.

5 Trugens icke så fast uppå edart välde; taler icke så halsstyft.

May not you lift up to the height horn your may you speak with a neck arrogance.

6 Det hafver ingen nöd hvarken af östan eller vestan, eller af de berg i öknene.

For not [is] from [the] going out and from [the] setting place and not from [the] wilderness exaltation.

7 Ty Gud är domare; denna förnedrar han, och den andra upphöjer han.

For God [is the] judge this one he brings low and this one he lifts up.

8 Ty Herren hafver en skål i handene, och med starkt vin fullt inskänkt, och skänker derutaf; men de ogudaktige måste alle dricka, och utsupa dräggena.

For a cup [is] in [the] hand of Yahweh and wine it is foaming - full spiced drink and he has poured out some of this surely dregs its they will drain they will drink all [the] wicked [people] of [the] earth.

9 Men jag vill förkunna evinnerliga, och lofsjunga Jacobs Gudi;

And I I will declare for ever I will sing praises to [the] God of Jacob.

10 Och vill sönderbryta allt de ogudaktigas våld; att de rättfärdigas välde skall upphöjdt varda.

And all [the] horns of wicked [people] I will cut off they will be lifted up [the] horns of [the] righteous.
