1 En undervisning Korah barnas, till att föresjunga. Gud, vi hafve med våra öron hört, våre fäder hafva det förtäljt oss, hvad du i deras dagar gjort hafver fordom.

2 Du hafver med dine hand fördrifvit Hedningarna; men dem hafver du insatt. Du hafver förderfvat folken; men dem hafver du utvidgat.
You - hand your nations you dispossessed and you planted them you did harm to peoples and you set free them.
3 Ty de hafva icke intagit landet genom sitt svärd, och deras arm halp dem intet; utan din högra hand, din arm och ditt ansigtes ljus; ty du hade ett behag till dem.

12 Du säljer ditt folk förgäfves, och tager der intet före.

13 Du gör oss till smälek vårom grannom; till spott och hån dem som omkring oss äro.
You have made us a reproach to neighbors our mockery and derision to [those] around us.
14 Du gör oss till ett ordspråk ibland Hedningarna, och att folken rista hufvudet öfver oss.
You have made us a byword among the nations a shaking of head not peoples.
15 Dagliga är min smälek för mig, och mitt ansigte är fullt med skam;

16 Att jag måste de försmädare och lastare höra, och fienderna och de hämndgiruga se.

21 Det kunde Gud väl finna. Nu känner han ju vår hjertans grund.

23 Uppväck dig, Herre; hvi sofver du? Vaka upp, och bortdrif oss icke med allo.
Awake! - why? do you sleep - O Lord awake! may not you reject [us] to perpetuity.
24 Hvi fördöljer du ditt ansigte; och förgäter vårt elände och tvång?
Why? face your do you hide do you forget? affliction our and oppression our.
25 Ty vår själ är nederböjd till jordena; vår buk låder vid jordena.

26 Statt upp, hjelp oss, och förlös oss, för dina godhets skull.
Arise! a help of us and redeem us for [the] sake of covenant loyalty your.
