Psaltaren 42
1 En undervisning, Korah barnas, till att föresjunga. Såsom hjorten ropar efter friskt vatten, så ropar min själ, Gud, till dig.
To the choirmaster a poem of [the] sons of Korah. Like a deer [which] it pants towards channels of water so being my it pants to you O God.
2 Min själ törster efter Gud, efter den lefvande Gud. När skall jag dertill komma, att jag måtte se Guds ansigte?
It thirsts being my - for God for [the] God living when? will I go and I may appear? [the] presence of God.
3 Mine tårar äro min spis dag och natt, då man dagliga till mig säger: Hvar är nu din Gud?
It has been of me tear[s] my food by day and night when say to me all the day where? [is] God your.
4 När jag nu derpå tänker, så utgjuter jag mitt hjerta vid mig sjelfvan; ty jag ville gerna gå med hopenom, och med dem vandra till Guds hus; med glädje och tacksägelse ibland hopen som högtid hålla.
These [things] I will remember - and I will pour out on myself - soul my that I passed on - with the crowd I led them to [the] house of God with [the] sound of a shout of joy and thanksgiving a multitude celebrating a festival.
5 Hvad bedröfvar du dig, min själ, och äst så orolig i mig? Hoppas uppå Gud; ty jag skall ännu tacka honom, att han hjelper mig med sitt ansigte.
Why? are you bowed down - O soul my and were you in turmoil? on me wait for God for again I will give thanks to him [the] salvation of presence his.
6 Min Gud, bedröfvad är min själ i mig; derföre tänker jag på dig, i det land vid Jordan, och Hermonim, på de litsla bergena.
O God my on me being my it is bowed down there-fore I will remember you from [the] land of [the] Jordan and Hermon from mount Mizar.
7 Dine floder fräsa fast, så att ett djup brusar här, och ett djup der; alle dine vattuvågor och böljor utöfver mig.
Deep to deep [is] calling to [the] sound waterfalls your all breakers your and waves your over me they have passed.
8 Om dagen hafver Herren utlofvat sina godhet, och om nattene sjunger jag honom, och beder till mins lifs Gud.
By day - he commands Yahweh - covenant loyalty his and in the night (song his *Q(K)*) [is] with me a prayer to [the] God of life my.
9 Jag säger till Gud, min klippa: Hvi hafver du förgätit mig? Hvi måste jag gå så sorgse, när min fiende mig tränger?
I will say - to God rock my why? have you forgotten me why? mourning do I walk in [the] oppression of an enemy.
10 Det är såsom ett mord i mina ben, att mine fiender skämma mig; då de dagliga till mig säga: Hvar är nu din Gud?
With a shattering - in bones my they have taunted me opposers my when say they to me all the day where? [is] God your.
11 Hvad bedröfvar du dig, min själ, och äst så orolig i mig? Hoppas uppå Gud; ty jag skall ännu tacka honom, att han mitt ansigtes hjelp och min Gud är.
