Psaltaren 24

1 En Psalm Davids. Jorden är Herrans, och hvad deruti är; jordenes krets, och hvad derpå bor.

Of David a psalm [belongs] to Yahweh the earth and what fills it [the] world and [those who] dwell in it.

2 Ty han hafver grundat henne på hafvena, och på floderna beredt henne.

For he on [the] seas he founded it and on [the] rivers he established it.

3 Ho skall gå uppå Herrans berg? Och ho kan stå uti hans helga rum?

Who? will he go up on [the] mountain of Yahweh and who? will he stand in [the] place of holiness his.

4 Den oskyldiga händer hafver, och renhjertad är; den ej lust hafver till lösaktiga läro, och svär icke falskeliga;

A [person] innocent of hands and a [person] pure of heart who - not he has lifted up to falsehood desire my and not he has sworn an oath to deceit.

5 Han skall undfå välsignelse af Herranom, och rättfärdighet af sins helsos Gud.

He will lift up blessing from with Yahweh and righteousness from [the] God of salvation his.

6 Detta är den slägt, som efter honom frågar, den ditt ansigte, Jacob, söker. (Sela)

This [is] [the] generation of ([those who] seek him *Q(k)*) [those who] seek face your O Jacob (Selah)

7 Görer portarna vida, och dörrarna i verldene höga, att ärones Konung må draga derin.

Lift up O gates - heads your and be lifted up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.

8 Hvilken är den samme ärones Konung? Det är Herren, stark och mägtig, Herren mägtig i strid.

Who? [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh strong and mighty Yahweh mighty of battle.

9 Görer portarna vida, och dörrarna i verldene höga, att ärones Konung må draga derin.

Lift up O gates - heads your and lift up O doors of antiquity so he may come [the] king of glory.

10 Hvilken är den samme ärones Konung? Det är Herren Zebaoth; han är ärones Konung. (Sela)

Who? that [is] this [the] king of glory Yahweh of hosts he [is] [the] king of glory (Selah)
